Blind Date With A Billionaire By Sylvia Nancy

Chapter 16

Chapter 16

Chapter 16

It turned out that he just wanted to help her blow–dry her hair.

I’ll do it myself,Vanessa said.

“Come here,” William said gently again.

It was difficult to resist others‘ kind intentions, so Vanessa moved to sit down next to William.

She kept thinking the shirt was too short to cover her legs.

She wanted to pull the shirt down but was afraid the collar would be too low.

She had to sit with her legs together, feeling extremely uncomfortable.

William took one look at Vanessa and somehow found her a bit cute.

He smiled lightly and turned on the hair dryer to help her blow dry her hair.

He was gentle and focused.

Vanessa relaxed a lot.

“In the future, after you take a shower, blow dry your hair before you do anything else. Girls better not get cold. If you get cold when you’re young, you’ll easily have rheumatism when you’re old,” William said.

“Mmm” Vanessa’s heart was touched again.

I’ll go over to the hospital to keep watch tonight. You have a good rest at home,” William said again.

“No, no. I’ll go to the hospital. I can make it,” Vanessa said immediately.

“You need to rest.

“Don’t worry. I’ll sleep at the hospital” Vanessa insisted.

In fact, when Vanessa’s father was hospitalized, she took turns keeping watch with her brother every day, just in case her father was gone.

Her work was also greatly affected. The director was very dissatisfied with her, and it was only because she was able to submit more designs that she was allowed to not keep working in the office.

However, her salary could only be paid at 80% of the usual rate, which was said to be for the psychological balance of other colleagues.

Her father’s health was in such a poor state that she could not care about the 20% of her salary.

In addition, she voluntarily stopped the part–time tutoring job she was working, fearing that she would affect the children’s learning.

These days were the most tiring and exhausting time for her.

But her heart had been full of hope, and she felt she could carry on.

William reached out and rubbed Vanessa’s head and said, “I’ll accompany you then.”

“Okay…” Vanessa was going to say no, but then she thought it would look like she was not grateful if she kept refusing William’s kindness.

William put down the hair dryer and held Vanessa in his arms, letting Vanessa lean on his lap. “You get some sleep, and we’ll go to the hospital after the laundry is done.”

“Okay.” Vanessa leaned against William’s lap.

At first, she was a little nervous and not very comfortable.

But William’s hand patted her head gently, again and again.

She gradually relaxed.

Perhaps she had been too tired these few days, or maybe the shock of meeting Jackson was too much for her and hurt her, or perhaps she felt a sense of security when she was with William, and she felt a bit drowsy after a while.

William looked down at her and stroked her hair, reaching down to pull the blanket over her.

It was early winter now, with only 45°F outside. Ben had brought someone to install heating in the house the other day, so it was 68°F in the house, which was considered the most comfortable temperature.

About half an hour later, there were three ding sounds from the washing machine.

Vanessa got up with a jolt. “Is the washing done?”

Chapter 16

William said helplessly, “You could have slept a little longer.”

“No need. I’m in good spirits now.” Vanessa was a bit chagrined that she had just fallen completely asleep.

But it was good. She was refreshed now.

She was energetic now.

She got up to get her clothes.

William reminded her. “The clothes are hot. Put them aside to cool down first and wear them later.”

“Okay.” Vanessa answered, but in her heart, she could not wait to change into her own clothes.

At this time, the doorbell rang

Vanessa was so scared that she wanted to get into the room.

Thinking that she had already taken her clothes out, she immediately tied her sweater coat around her waist, covering her legs, and she instantly felt much more comfortable.

William, of course, didn’t want outsiders to see Vanessa in this state. He gently said, “You go to the room and rest for a while. I’ll open the door.”

“Okay.” Vanessa seemed to have been pardoned and ran very fast.

William laughed and went to open the door.

Outside the door, the general manager of the branded clothing chain store personally brought over a dozen sets of clothes with two store managers.

Although William only arranged five sets on the phone, they dared not neglect their boss‘ request.

Nell Parker, the regional director, came over in person.

When she saw William, she was very respectful. “Mr. Hawk!”

The two store managers were also ready to say hello to him respectfully.

William raised his hand to stop them.

The two store managers immediately became silent.

They poked their heads, and their eyes were filled with exploration and unbelievable looks.

Mr. Hawk actually appeared in such a small place.

So, Mr. Hawk was chasing a girl?

This was the girl’s house?

At the thought of that, they became even more curious. Each one of them poked their necks, wanting to see what the girl liked by Mr. Hawk looked like.

They usually did nothing but sell clothes and gossip. They all knew that William and Tracy, the daughter of the owner of Yost Group, were a perfect match.

Now Mr. Hawk was buying clothes for other girls, and they were ordinary clothes.

Tracy used to wear tailored clothing.

Nell was curious too, but she did not dare to ask or look too much.

She immediately politely asked, “Mr. Hawk, look at these clothes. Which models and colors do you like?”

As soon as she said those words, the two store managers behind her immediately unfolded the clothes.

They were all hung on hangers, and unfolding them could allow them to see the styles.

“Put them all on the couch. You can leave now,” William said.

“Okay.” Nell gave a wink.

The two store managers immediately went in, put the clothes on the couch, and left quickly.

No sooner had the three left than Vanessa changed into her own clothes and came out.

She had initially thought it was William’s friend who had arrived, so she changed her clothes and was ready to come out to say hello.

“I bought you some clothes. See if you like them,” William said gently when he saw Vanessa come out.

“You bought me clothes? When did you buy them?” Vanessa thought William ordered them for her online.

Chapter 16

“It’s same–city delivery. Here, take a look, William said.

Vanessa was shocked to see the couch full of clothes. “You bought so many?”

“Yes. It wasn’t expensive, so I picked out a few more sets. You need to wear clothes anyway,” William said,

“They are too many. Can you return some?” Vanessa asked.

William looked at Vanessa as he walked over. He reached over, pulled her to the couch, and said, “Come on. Try them on! None of them is expensive. We’ve been married for a while, and I haven’t bought you anything or given you an engagement gift.”

Maybe people really needed to compare to see the good and the bad.

He used to buy clothes for Tracy, and she would only find some of them too plainly designed.

“You’ve spent lots and lots of money on me.” Vanessa thought to herself that the money was already so much that she needed to work hard and hard in the future to repay it.

“None of them is expensive. Come, try them on.” William held out a set to Vanessa.

“Okay.” Vanessa took it.

Then she saw the sets of lingerie underneath the clothes.

Her face turned blush.

She was really embarrassed.

William, on the contrary, was calm. He picked up a set and handed it to Vanessa. “Try them on together. I can ask them to change the clothes to the size that fits you if they don’t fit.”

Vanessa’s face turned even blush.

It was so blush that she could not wait to find somewhere to hide.

William looked at Vanessa’s shy appearance, the corner of his lips could not help but curl up into a smile.

He was a bit depressed today, but now he suddenly felt happy.

Once again, he saw Vanessa taking her clothes and running as fast as she could..
