Oliver wake up. Do you want to go to megan’s house today?” I asked shaking him slowly

“Yes daddy. I want to go” he mumbled sitting up in bed, and rubbing his eyes

“Good. Now you brush your teeth, and I’ll pick your clothes” I said standing up as he got out of bed and went to the bathroom.

I walked to the closet and picked out his clothes.

“Daddy. Can Rachel get me ready? Please?” He asked coming out of the bathroom

“No Oliver. She might be busy.” I said just as the door opened

“Its okay Jaxon. I’m happy to help” I heard Rachel say coming into the room.

“Rachel your pregnant! I don’t want to leave Oliver on you.” I mumbled and she shook her head

“It’s okay. I love Oliver! And I am going to be pregnant for a few months Jaxon. I can’t just ignore Oliver. Is that right Oliver?” She said getting down on her knees slowly.

“Yes! I love you” he said hugging her

“Oliver be careful” I mumbled and he nodded and let her go.

“I love you too Oli. I heard so you have a date. Your so grown up! I think we need to get you some nice clothes” she exclaimed standing up

“I’ll be downstairs” I said and she nodded walking to the closet.

I went downstairs to the kitchen to see kyle making pancakes

“Don’t burn them!” I said and he rolled his eyes

“I can cook jaxon” he muttered and I shook my head

“You can’t cook kyle. You can bake but not cook!” I explained as he threw a burnt pancake in the bin.

“Fine. You do it then” he muttered handing me the pan and I nodded

“I heard Oliver is going to a girls house?” He asked as I put the mixture in the pan.

“Yeah he is. He’s really excited to go” I replied and he nodded

“Why don’t you put Oliver in a werewolf school?” He asked and I shrugged

“It’s his choice kyle. If he wants to go to a human school, then I don’t mind. And he has told me that he doesn’t like the werewolf school. Remember the first day he went and he came back crying. I tried to ask him what happened but he never told me. He said you won’t understand? But it’s true. If he doesn’t tell me them how am I meant to understand” I explained putting the pancakes in the plate as Oliver and Rachel walked into the room.

“Daddy look. Auntie Rachel said I look handsome” Oliver said as kyle helped him on the stool

“You do little man. Hey Oliver, why don’t you want to go to a werewolf school?” Kyle asked and Rachel hit him on the head

“Shut up kyle” she muttered

“But-” he got cut off by Oliver jumping down and running out the room.

“Look at what you did kyle. Asshole” Rachel mumbled and walked out the room.

“You see this Jaxon? This is what I meant. She never called me asshole” kyle exclaimed and I rolled my eyes

“Chill kyle. Nobody can understand women” I mumbled and walked out the kitchen. I went to the living room to see Oliver crying on Rachel’s shoulder.

“I don’t like that school Auntie Rachel. Everyone says my mommy died. I know! But people don’t play with me because I don’t have a mommy” he cried

“Shush Oliver. I know. I remember when you told me. But remember what I told you? Ignore them. You have a great dad that looks after you good. And you have me and uncle kyle as well. And then you have uncle Ryan and uncle Eric. All those people can look after you. So what if you don’t have a mommy, you have us” Rachel explained making him sit on her lap

“Yeah. But that’s why I like my school, Auntie Rachel. Everyone plays with me, even if I don’t have a mommy. Megan said she likes me too, because I’m strong. I said she is strong too because she doesn’t have a daddy” he replied as Rachel wiped his eyes

“I know Oli. Now how about you go to megan’s house. We don’t want her to see you cry, do we? Your a strong boy” she said making him stand up and sorting his clothes out.

“Now anything happens, you can always tell me if you can’t tell your daddy okay?” She said and he nodded

I walked out the house and to my car. I drove to the cemetery and walked inside to Cherry’s grave.

“Look what happened cherry. He can’t even tell me anything! You left and he is alone! He can’t even trust me. He gets bullied in school, because he doesn’t have a mom. That’s fucking crazy. Why did you leave cherry? Why? I can’t do it alone. I tried but I can’t. I need you cherry. I need you so bad. Oliver needs you as well. I can’t do it anymore cherry. I can’t. He doesn’t trust me” I shouted falling to the floor defeated.

“I need you cherry. I miss you” I whispered as someone touched my shoulder

“Jaxon. Come on. You can’t give up” I heard kyle mutter

“I can’t do it alone kyle. I can’t.” I whispered tears rolling down my face

“Jaxon. You can’t give up. What is Oliver going to think? You know Rachel loves Oliver and she doesn’t mind looking after him” he said sitting down next to me.

“Kyle how long is your mate going to look after him? Once the baby is born, she has to look after the baby then. What about Oliver? He doesn’t even trust me to tell me what happens in school? So what if he needs someone to talk to? Rachel can’t always be there” I shouted and he sighed

“Look Jaxon. Let’s not do this here. This is the human area. They’ll get suspicious and we don’t need that headache. Rachel has taken Oliver to megan’s house. And you? You need to pull yourself together. I know you break down every night Jaxon. I’m not stupid. I see you wake up in the night and walk outside, just staring at the sky! You need to get over this. You have to do this for Oliver” he said and I nodded

“You go kyle. And I’ll pick Oliver up in an hour” I mumbled and he nodded

“Don’t do anything stupid kyle. This pack needs their alpha” he said standing up and I nodded as he walked away.

That’s all I am, a stupid alpha. I can’t have my own life. No more kids, no waking up to my wife. No nothing!

I knocked on Erica’s door and after a few seconds she opened it with a big smile

“Hey. Come on in and I’ll call him” she said and I nodded closing the door behind me

“I hope he hasn’t been a trouble” I said and she shook her head walking to a room.

“Oh no. He’s been a right gentleman.” She said and I smiled and nodded

“Oliver. Your dad’s here” she shouted upstairs

In a few seconds Oliver came running downstairs.

“Daddy. Where did you go in the morning?“he said hugging me and I picked him up

“Sorry son. I had some meetings” I said and he nodded

“Oliver is really clever for a 5 years old. He’s amazing” Erica said and I nodded

When I put Oliver in a human school, I made his age higher, because werewolfs are more clever, stronger, and grow older than normal humans. So Oliver is only 2 years old but he looks around 5.

“Yeah he is. Thank you for having Oliver” I said and she nodded

“No problem. He can come around any time” she said opening the door for me and I nodded

I walked down the couple of steps and to my car. I put Oliver in his seat and sat in my own.

“Oliver how about we go shopping and get you some more toys to play with?” I asked and he started clapping

“Yes daddy” he shouted and I nodded
