1 month later Jaxon’s p.o.v

“Now that’s over. What do you guys think? I was hoping to expand this territory so all the mates with children can move out of the pack house, and live in their own houses” I explained to Kyle and Ryan, who nodded.

“I think its a great idea. Especially since everyone is having children” kyle said and I smirked

“Like you?” I questioned and he rolled his eyes

“I’m happy Rachel is pregnant. But she complains a lot” kyle groaned

“She’s a human kyle. And she’s carrying a werewolf baby. Of course she’s going to complain. She has 4 months to go yet. It’s going to be harder for her because she’s going to be pregnant for 5 months” I explained

“Harder? Excuse me normal humans are pregnant for 9 months. And what are we even talking about? We’re guys!” Ryan exclaimed.

“you can’t say anything. You didn’t even tell us your gay! Well as long as you got your mate back. I can’t beileve you didn’t even talk to him before” kyle exclaimed

Just then the door opened and Eric, Ryan’s mate walked in.

“Dinners ready” he said and we nodded

“Okay. You guys go ahead and I’ll eat later” I mumbled and they all sighed and walked out the room.

It’s been a whole month since cherry died. And I gave up. She’s always leaving me so I gave up on us. Now all my priority is Oliver. He is my one and only.

I got up and grabbed my blazer and walked out the office. I locked the door and walked out the house. I sat in my car and drove to Oliver’s new school. He is in day care from 11 till 3 and he loves it.

I parked the car outside his small school and just waited until the bell rang. I put Oliver in human school so he understands humans and their way of life as well as werewolfs.

I got out of the car and wore my blazer as all the mothers stared at me. The bell went, I went closer to the gate.

I waited as Oliver ran out of the school playground and towards me.

“Daddy” he yelled jumping on me.

“Hey Oliver. How was school?” I asked taking his backpack

“It was good daddy. I made a new friend. Megan and she’s pretty” he whispered into my ear

“Haha that’s good. Let’s go. Shall we get some ice cream?” I asked picking him up and standing.

“Yes daddy. I want vanilla ice cream” he exclaimed and I nodded

I walked back to my car and put him in his seat. I helped him wear his seat belt and turned around to see a woman standing there.

“Hi. I just wanted to ask if Oliver wants to come for a play date with megan some day? Maybe tomorrow?” She said holding a little girls hand

I turned to Oliver and smiled

“Do you want to go?” I asked and he nodded

“Yes daddy” he shouted and I nodded

“Sure. Thank you” I said and she nodded and handed me a card.

“No problem. This is my address. You can come at anytime tomorrow. Come on sweetie, lets go” she said handing me a card and walking away.

“Looks like you already have a date. Your quick at this son” I smirked sitting in the car and starting it.

“Daddy can we go to the park and then see mommy?” He asked and I nodded

“Sure.” I mumbled driving to the park. It was in the human area but Oliver likes to spend more time with humans than werewolf. I don’t know why but he never plays with any of the kids at home.

We reached the park and I got out the car

“How about we see your mom first and then you can play in the park?” I said helping him out of the car.

“Yep. Can we get flowers?” He asked and I shook my head

“No. Sorry son but I forgot that. We can get next time. Okay” I said as he held my hand and we walked to the cemetery, which was next to the park.

I pushed the gate and walked threw with Oliver holding my hand. I wanted to put cherry in a place where she will always be remembered. And where Oliver can always see her. If we put her next to pack, I know and so does everyone else, that I wouldn’t move from that area.

“Look daddy. I can see mommy” Oliver exclaimed and ran to Cherry’s grave.

I followed him as he kissed his fingers and put them on the grave.

“Hi mommy. Daddy can I go to the park now?” He asked looking at me and I nodded

“Be careful! And play where I can see you okay?” I said and he nodded

“Okay. Bye daddy” he shouted and ran to the park.

“Hey cherry” I mumbled and sat down on the floor.

“Oliver already has a date. And he’s only 2. Well nearly 3” I muttered standing up

“Bye cherry” I said and walked out to the park. I saw Oliver playing with a little girl in the sand box, so I sat down on the bench.

Ever since cherry died, I have nothing to do. It’s always look after Oli and alpha work.

“Oh hi” I heard someone say sitting on the beach. I turned around to see Oliver’s friends mom.

“Hey” I said and she smiled

“I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Erica” she said holding her hand out

“Jaxon” I replied shaking her hand and she nodded, removing her hand.

“Daddy can we get ice cream. Please?” Oliver asked running towards me and I nodded

“Sure. When we go home. Shall we go home. I think Rachel baked you a cake” I said standing up

“Yes! Auntie Rachel makes the best cakes” he exclaimed and I nodded picking him up

“Bye bye megan” he shouted and waved to the little girl playing in the sand box.

“Goodbye Erica” I nodded and she waved.

I walked to my car and put Oliver in his seat.

“You have to be a good boy for megan’s mom tomorrow. Okay?” I said to him driving to an ice cream shop

“Yes daddy. I promise to be good” he said and I shook my head

“What have I always said Oliver, don’t make promises you know you can’t keep.” I mumbled and he nodded

I made a lot of promises to cherry, but never kept them. I failed her, like always.
