VIDEO 1:

The opening shot is a wide concourse, flanked with screens proudly declaring that you too can "Choose your designer Plasmid!"

As the camera zooms out, a man appears in the frame. He is taller than average, with a pristine antique lab coat, and a pair of tortoiseshell glasses balanced on his nose.

"Welcome, Dear investor!" exclaims the man, sweeping his arms outward toward the viewer.

"Here at Evo-toys, we create the impossible. You want a pet animal that doubles as a guardian? Done. You want a specialized bacterium that breaks down poisons in your mouth? Simple."

Here, he pauses, and lets out a knowing smile, like this is information he shouldn't be telling the viewer.

"However, I , Professor Mishkin, and the rest of the R&D department, have created something that will revolutionize the Biotech industry forever.

The Perfect Friend. Any power, any race, constant protection, and no more listening to Junior complaining about being friendless!" Here, Mishkin gives the audience a wink, as if to say he was only joking.

"Well, If you are interested, you can view our catalogue now! just request one from the closest Evo-toys store!"

VIDEO 2:

This video starts with a young boy of about nine lying in bed. He is wearing some basic pyjamas, the kind you would expect an older person to wear.

This peaceful scene continues with the boy sitting up, stretching, and waving at the camera, before allowing the pyjamas to ripple and change into joggers and a t-shirt.

(As this happens, the realization hits the viewers that this is Biomorph.)

As he exits the bedroom, the video flickers to follow him, as he walks down the utilitarian hallway towards another door, and watches as he strides through it.

The video flickers again, and the audience is treated to a view of a playroom, with an extensive bookcase, and a large games cupboard - later examination would uncover some of the titles were significantly harder than the others, and were filed on a bookshelf marked '42' - but no other people in sight. This causes a small frown on the face of he young hero, but it quickly changes back to a smile.

The video changes multiple times as he methodically searches all the rooms in that hallway - Kitchen, Garden, Hall, Pantry - until the young Biomorph finally stands before what could only be a guard station, next to the sliding doors that hinted at an elevator.

Biomorph seems to be undecisive, and paces back and forward many times. Sometimes, he will walk a few more steps towards the door, then shake his head and walk back. Other times, he will almost walk away, but spin on his heels and face the guard room again.

After about 5 minutes of this, he pushes one of his fingers against the door, waits a few seconds, then turns his hand. The door swings open, and Biomorph extracts his finger from the lock. He walks into the room, and the video flickers to show you his view. Most of the cameras are showing what looks like a normal military operation, what with soldiers marching too-and-fro, and a lot of saluting being done.

However, the camera feed that attracts the attention of the audience and Biomorph both is what appears to be the execution of other young children about young Biomorph's age. The audience witnessed his silent screams of despair as we watches more and more of his comrades being gunned down, and a red liquid erupting from their chests.

However these silent screams are soon replaced with what looks like blind rage. Biomorph sweeps his arm across the desk, and destroys the screens on them. As this was going on, the guard came back from wherever he had been.

He looked like one of the guards in a 2080 American film. Dark skin, a bowl cut, and a big loop of redundant keys.

The guards jaw dropped, and even through the video the audience can tell he is shaking, and his pupils widen in horror. In one movement, slightly too mechanical to be conscious, he draws his gun, and fires.

The sudden impact of the bullet knocks Biomorph off his feet, and he falls into the pile of screens he was smashing. As the guard is watching, however, Biomorph stands up. Unscathed.

The guard is naturally terrified by this development, and tries to run. He makes it 4 steps before a Biomorphs tail whips him off his feet, and drags him out of sight. Then the camera that was viewing this scene was smashed. (A later study of this video would discover it was one of the keys the guard had carried that had smashed the camera).

After this, there is no clear narrative to the fragments of video that are played. There are indistinct shadows, flashes of weapons fire, and cameras blinking out everywhere.

This chaos continues for about 2 minutes, before the video flickers for the last time, and settles on a picture of a horrific beast. Bipedal, Prehensile tails tipped with spikes of bone, a gleaming exoskeleton, an air of intelligence to its movements.

This monster is stalking around the room, shaking its head between glaring down the corridors that lead from this room. It is illuminated by the dismal glow of backup lights, and there seems to be an alarm going off, judging by the flashing panels seen down one hallway, indicating the direction for evacuation.

However, the monster does not move from the room, and instead seems to be contemplating its bloody claws, and watching the pool of red on the floor grow steadily.

A rather young captain bursts onto the scene, and shouts at the creature. When it rounds on him, The captain simply said one sentence, enunciated so clearly it could be read from his lips. "Would they want this?"

With those words, the monster wavers, ripples, and is replaced with a sobbing Biomorph. The captain walks over to him, and picks him up. Then, with a nod towards the camera, he turns and walks away, with the child held protectively in his arms.
