Chapter Chapter `1135 Bart and Haiden Four (3)
"It's my birthday next month. Come to my house and I'll introduce you to my friends." Andrew patted Haiden on the shoulder and said.
"Alright." Haiden agreed, not for anything else but this wonderful fate.
The next few days, it was Valery who came to Haiden to deal with the affair about the cooperation.
She wanted to follow Haiden to the factory to look at the materials and check the quality of materials. After confirming that there were no problems, the workers could go on with the next procedure, packing the materials.
Haiden hadn't recovered from his cold for a few days. Sometimes, when he stood there, his snot would come down. Sometimes, Gerald was busy confirming the materials with the workers. He couldn't care about Haiden. Valery handed Haiden a tissue, and then she handed him medicine and water.
Valery could have been so considerate for Haiden these days. She was so smart and Haiden was a little envious of Andrew.
"It's late. You go back first." Haiden glanced at his watch and said to Valery, "I'll get Gerald to send you."
"No need, I will wait for you," Valery said.
"It will be very late. I want to take it for a quality examination personally after it is done." Haiden's nasal voice was very heavy, but it sounded very charming.
"I know. I can handle it," Valery insisted.
After Gerald came back, he took the factory inspection report and said, "I'll send it to the company by mail."
"It's so late? The express delivery also closed. You drive her back first, then you can go home."
"What about you, Mr. Haiden?"
"I'll do it myself. After the inspection, I'll take a taxi back." Haiden's throat was a little itchy, and he was about to speak when Valery had already handed him the water. Haiden thanked her, took a sip of water, and said to her, "Go back with him first."
Valery looked at his assistant, Gerald, and said, "You go back first. I'll send Mr. Haiden home later."
Gerald quickly thanked her and then drove away with the report.
"Why are you staying up so late? Don't you believe in our company?" Haiden was surprised.
"No, I just think it is not good to leave you alone. I will accompany you." Valery poured another cup of hot water and placed it in his hand.
Haiden held the cup of water and smiled gently without speaking.
It was almost eleven o'clock when the two finished the work and drove back. It was Valery who drove the car.
"Are you hungry?" Haiden asked.
"Let's go to eat something," Valery said as she parked her car at the side.
Haiden came down and saw the porridge shop.
Valery turned around. "You haven't recovered from your cold. Have some porridge. It is easy to digest at night."
"I know. You don't have to accommodate me. What do you want to eat? Let's go and eat what you want." Haiden took a few steps forward and stood shoulder to shoulder with her.
"I want to eat porridge," Valery said.
Haiden felt that this girl was so good at taking care of others. She was just a few years older than Bart. Not to mention that she was more competent than a man, and her mind was also meticulous. It was unknown where Andrew found her. Actually, she had been by his side since Andrew was young.
If she were to reincarnate into a good family, she would definitely be a swift and decisive female president.
After finishing the porridge, Valery sent Haiden to his residence. Haiden did not get out of the car and said, "Drive to your home"
Valery was a little stunned.
"Don't think too much about it. Let's go." Haiden chuckled.
Ten minutes later, the car stopped in front of an apartment.
"This is where you live?" Haiden asked as he got out of the car. Valery nodded. "What do you want to do?" she asked hesitantly. "You can go up then," Haiden waved at her.
Valery was confused.
Haiden had already walked to the junction and stopped a taxi.
Valery couldn't help but want to ask him something, but Haiden had already stopped a taxi and pulled open the back seat, getting in the car. He was very tired. As soon as he got in the car, he sat in the back seat and closed his eyes.
Assistant Gerald called Valery quickly.
"Are you home?"
Valery locked the car and slowly walked home. "Yes, Mr. Haiden... took a taxi by himself."
"I know. How could he let a girl send him home?" Gerald said with a smile.
"Why not?" Valery was puzzled.
"Because girls need boys to protect them. That's what he said. Additionally, all the women in our company have to send a message to show they arrive home safely." Gerald added, "Our boss is a gentleman. If he was not sick, he would definitely drive you back."
Valery nodded.
Haiden was indeed a very gentleman.
Today in the factory, after the worker had finished the inspection, he thanked the workers. When he came out, she said that she would drive him, and before he got in the car, he said thank you to her, too. The polite gentleman did not look like an overbearing president.
When she was eating the porridge, she clearly said that she did not want spring onion and coriander, but the proprietress probably did not hear it clearly. The proprietress brought out two bowls of porridge with spring onion.
She did not say anything and lowered her head to eat the small wonton. Not long after, Haiden pushed the porridge in front of him before her and he picked out all the green onions inside.
At first, Valery was wondering if Haiden had any other intentions for her. But when she heard Gerald's words, she suddenly understood.
Gerald should be very gentle to all the women in the world.
