Chapter 1139 Bart and Haiden Six (1)
Ever since returning from Ristia, Haiden had become very busy.
His two uncles had everything to him, including several wineries, and even a martial art center. Haiden had to check them every day. Haiden spent the entire weekend checking the financial account, and many hours socializing. He didn't have much time to rest.
One day, Andrew suddenly called, asking, "Hey, where are you?"
Only then did Haiden realize that it was Andrew's birthday.
"Forgive me, I..." Haiden gestured to his assistant, indicating him to prepare a birthday gift.
"You're still busy, aren't you? It's fine. You can come over a little later. But don't forget about it." The only side of the line sounded noisy. It seemed like many people had arrived.
Haiden had attended quite a lot of birthday parties but not a bikini party, the kind of party that Andrew was holding.
Andrew's father wasn't home. There was no one to disturb him. So, he threw the party at home.
Haiden walked in and saw Andrew in beach shorts, holding a girl in a pink bikini.
"Hi!" Andrew called out to everyone the moment he saw Haiden, "Guys! This is a good friend I recently made. Speaking of which, we are especially fated. We were kidnapped together when we were young!" People all cheered.
Haiden was speechless.
Haiden didn't understand why people were so excited. He handed the gift to Andrew and smiled cordially, saying, "Happy birthday!"
Andrew took two glasses of wine and handed Haiden one of them. "You came late. This is your punishment. Drink it."
"Of course," Haiden answered.
Haiden took the glass over, raised his head, and drank it. Only then did he realize that it was not champagne but a strong wine.
His throat was burning.
But he finished the rest of the wine without hesitation.
"Did you see that?" Andrew said proudly to the people behind him, "This is a real man!"
Haiden drank with Andrew for a moment, then Andrew had to go greet other people. Haiden finally got to walk outside and breathe some fresh air.
The heater in the room was turned on. No wonder so many people did not feel cold even though they were wearing bikinis. After Haiden came out, the heat on his body dissipated a little. He sent a message to his assistant and asked him to call a driver later. He had drunk, so he couldn't drive.
He didn't eat when he came over. Now after a few cups of wine, his stomach was burning. He took some medicine from his car and planned to say goodbye to Andrew.
Just as he was about to enter, he saw a car drive over.
It was Valery's car.
They hadn't seen each other for more than half a month.
Valery was not in a bikini. Of course, Haiden did not expect anything. If she really appeared in a bikini, he might go up and ask her if she had a fever.
Valery was in a long purple dress with a gray coat.
Her hair was tied up, leaving only a strand of it hanging near her collarbone. Her necklace was silver. Her earrings were in the shape of fish.
From a closer look, there was a fish pattern on his necklace too.
Haiden nodded to her.
Valery nodded and then walked over to greet Haiden, "Have you just arrived, Mr. Cox?"
"No, I have been here for a while." Haiden glanced at her and said, "You look gorgeous today." Valery smiled and said thanks.
She was different from other women. She wasn't shy when guys praised her. She looked at ease.
They walked in together. The living room was full of people. The women were all wearing bikinis. The men were wearing large underpants and sweatshirts. Some men were naked. Valery and Haiden looked like two people who came to the wrong place. They looked uncoordinated in the living room.
Andrew wasn't there. Haiden asked a guy where he was and the guy pointed at a room.
Haiden walked over.
The door was not closed. Haiden knocked on the door. "Mr. Frey?"
Andrew's voice came from inside.
He sounded a little strange.
Haiden pushed the door open and entered. Seeing the scene in the room, he subconsciously turned around and pushed Valery out.
Andrew was sitting on the sofa. He was surrounded by several naked women. One woman was beside his feet.
After closing the door, Haiden pulled Valery to the door.
"He... seems to be a little busy. If he comes out later, please tell him that I need to go now."
Valery kept her head down while Haiden spoke.
Finished speaking, Haiden went down the stairs, yet he didn't get any reply from Valery. He looked back and found that Valery was crying.
He suddenly understood.
He brought Valery to his car and handed the tissue to her.
Neither of them spoke.
The atmosphere was silent until the assistant sent a message to ask him when he would leave.
After Haiden replied, he looked at Valery and asked, "Do you want to go back or go somewhere else to relax?"
