Beta Mates

“Did Kate arrive yet?” asked Kara. Shane shook his head. She did text about ten minutes ago and said she would be here in an half hour. I figured I would tell you since you will want to see her. Kara dismissed the Betas and sent Adam off to train the warriors so she could go take a shower and prepare to meet her sister. Shane and her walked towards the pack house. She branched off and went to the guest house to get showered. She showered and washed her hair trying to get the dirt and grass out of it and off her body. She owed Adam a dirt bath one of these days! She finished up and dried off with a towel and changed into jeans and a summer top with a blue paisley print. She ran down the steps and out the door to the pack house.

She looked up at the beautiful white pack house, her sister will love it. It looks like an old southern mansion with wings on both sides and three stories tall with balconies on the second and third stories. The guest house was only two stories and was more modern. It has a swimming pool, tennis court, and basketball court in the back. Sometime she hoped to make use of at least the pool.

She turned as a car pulled up to the front of the building she was just admiring. Kate jumped out of the car and hugged her sister. Kate is the beauty of the family, Kara thought, she has long wavy strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes like her Mom. She was the same height and build as Kara though where her mother was shorter and rounder.

Shane walked out of the pack house that moment and Kara and Kate turned to look at him. Kate’s mouth opened as she stared at the large handsome man. Kara leaned over and whispered ‘shut your mouth before you eat a fly’ to her sister in amusement. Shane walked closer and inhaled deeply and smiled “Mine” he said. “Yes” said Kate. Kate turned to her sister, “I will talk to you later.” She took hold of Shane’s hand and followed him into the pack house. Now it was Kara’s turn to stare with her mouth hanging open!
