Today I’m feeling better. My wolf is getting stronger and we will be able to speak together soon. Hopefully...

Once again we are in my kitchen with my father, Aiden, and Connor. Nora is playing outside with Tom. I think she told me they will go to the swimming pool with Kaiden.

Aiden is enjoying my coffee again. If I don’t know better I would say he did it in purpose just to annoy me.

“Yummy!!! Your coffee is the best. To bad you can drink it anymore.” He says with a knowing smile. As if he can read my mind right now.

Yup! Totally on purpose that bastard. I order my coffee from Tanzania because I love it. It’s where we went for our honeymoon with Nora. She can’t bear my mark, we are married. I never provoked Markus for a fight because Nora asked me not to... I could have avoided all of this mess if I didn’t follow her wish...

As for the coffee what nobody knows, except Nora of course, is that I have two pots. The second pot contains a Colombian coffee and I only serve that one. The Tanzanian pots are always hidden. It’s kind of stupid but Tanzania was my secret heaven with Nora and I can’t stand to share it with anybody even the coffee. This is only Nora and mine. Nora drinks only tea, she doesn’t know what she misses.

Let’s focus we have a lot to discuss. Collin is not here, he could be useful for this meeting. I didn’t see him since yesterday night. His reaction was a bit overrated so I had to order him to leave the party. Maybe one of them knows where he is.

“Where is Collin?”

“Doing his job, watching over Anna-Lynn. Why?” Says my father.

Duh!!!! How can I forget that when I’m the one who gave him this task. I need to find an excuse. I don’t want Aiden teasing me with that.

“I’m just worried about him. Did you speak to him? How was he?”

“We just greeted each other. He was looking normal.” He answers me.

“He moved out of our parents' house. I don’t know where he is staying. Something happened yesterday. He shut me out... I mean I don’t feel anything coming from him. At all.”Connor tells us.

“You mean your wolves cut their bond?” Asks my father. Twins have a special bond to each other, like in the mate bond, they can feel each other emotion.

“My wolf didn’t do anything. Maybe Collin’s wolf decided to cut me off in anger. But it’s nothing permanent, right?”

“If the bond is broken, I’m afraid it is definitive.” My father answers.

“But... I don’t want to lose him. Did he really mean it yesterday when he said that I was nobody for him? He can’t mean it.”

“He just needs time for sure. He will come around.” I say trying to reassure him.

“it’s true. You are inseparable. Let him the time to heal himself and he will come around.” Agrees Aiden.

“What about Anna-Lynn. Did you find more information?” I ask to change topics.

“It’s complicated,” says Aiden. “I contacted the university she was supposed to study, not only she never went there but they also never heard about her. So I contacted the High School she was supposed to go it’s the same, which is weird because my parents were paying for that school. It was a residential school and she was coming back only during the holidays. So the mystery is even bigger of what we thought. My father is looking at home if he can find the boxes where he kept all the information about her. My mother is looking in the bank account if we can find where went the money they paid for the school but it’s a long time ago. I don’t even know if her graduation certificate that she supposed to have when she was 16 is true.”

“We clearly can’t trust her if she was already lying when she used to live here.” Says Connor. I nod in agreement.

“We were able to track her phone here. We have access to all her messages and phone calls. I will give you access if you want.” Says Aiden.

“Yes please.” I tell him.

“Also my mother told me she also check Anna-Lynn bank account they opened for her to see if we could have a hint about where she has been, the same the last time she used it was 9 years and a half ago. As far as we know she only used her card to get some cash.” Aiden says. 


“I don’t know what to think?” I say. “Dad, push her to answer our questions. Use your alpha voice is necessary.”

“I will try but she is human so she can be immuned to my alpha power.” Says my father.

Aiden gave me access to spy on Anna-Lynn’s phone. She received a message half an hour ago. She expected a phone call at any time now. Both of us are in my room, ready to listen to that call, hoping to learn something.

“Hey princess, how are you?” A male voice says.

“Hey Daddy, I’m fine and you? Hey Darius. Hey Rose. How is Ezra?” Says Anna-Lynn.

“Hey everyone. Ezra says hello.” Says a feminine voice. Rose? I know this voice.

“Did you know what they say about you? How the Moon goddess gifted with beauty to compensate the fact you are just a stupid pathetic human.”Says another male voice. Alpha Darius, I think and the other male should be Alpha Chris.

“How do you know about that?” Asks Anna-Lynn

“You don’t sound surprised so you already knew it. They are assholes who deserve to die! You should let them in their shit.” Says Alpha Darius.

“We don’t have time for this now Darius. Rose, you call this meeting so what news do you have for us?” Asks Anna-Lynn.

“I have the results of the blood test. I was right, Alpha Liam was poisoned with the LB toxin.” Says Rose. She is the doctor Farnsworth that why I know her voice.

“We need to find how they were able to find that toxin. In the same time, he is the first one to not die, do you think you can find an antidote in his blood?” Says Alpha Chris.

“I’m don’t know, I will try but I will need more blood sample. After if I’m right about why he didn’t die then there will be no antidote.” Says doctor Farnsworth.

“I think we don’t have any doubts about who did it. Markus is the only one who had a reason.” Says Alpha Chris after a silence he adds: “ The question is how he was able to poison the Alpha without poisoning the pack?”

“You need to know all his routines and habits, Perfectly. This means the mole is a high ranking wolf in the pack but why to betray his Alpha. Liam is knowing to be a fair Alpha and even if he is an asshole a few times.” Says Alpha Darius.

“Maybe hidden cameras in the packhouse? I don’t see a high ranking wolf betray his Alpha without any reason.” Says Chris.

“I already checked all the room I went to. And there are no spy cameras even in the Alpha office. It will be safer to also check his private wing in the Packhouse but he will laugh at me that if I ask him.” Says Anna-Lynn.

“The other question is how he was able to have the LB toxin? We destroy all the samples I added a few months ago when someone tried to break in my lab. So how did he find it?” Says Doctor Farnsworth.

“Dimitri is the only one who possesses that toxin. The question is what was the price paid Markus to have it.” Says Alpha Darius.

“Ummm, vampire that interesting....” says Anna-Lynn. “What about your theory regarding his motivations? And about his Pedigree?” She adds.

“His parents were both werewolves. His father was hard and cold but expected that nothing. The same for his grandparents on both sides. As for his reason, we still try to prove Darius' Theory. What we know is that he is speaking to a lot of Alpha and tried to create an alliance. A powerful one. He is getting ready for war I would say. The question is against who? He is even more dangerous than we were thinking.” Alpha Chris answers.

“That worries me. Liam needs to be able to kill him. But I don’t know if 25 days will be enough.” Says Anna-Lynn.

“What if you give him your blood. Could it help me?” Asks Alpha Darius.

“It’s too risky....” says Anna- Lynn.

“She is right. Her blood can save him or kill him. It’s 50/50.” Says Doctor Farnsworth. “ Do we have something else to talk about, I have a date tonight.”

“Ou la la! Someone is going to get laid!” Teases Alpha Darius.

“So romantic! Thank you, Darius. ” Says Anna-Lynn with sarcasm. “ Is he right?” She adds right after.

“Not your business!” Says Doctor Farnsworth “ I am off I will call you again when I know the quantity of toxin Alpha Liam has in his blood. I will also try to date the intoxication.”

“Thank you, Rose. Enjoy your evening!” Anna-Lynn says subjectively.

“And your night! But not too much! Don’t do what-” Adds Darius.

“You two are impossible! Bye!” Doctor Farnsworth cuts him. She ends the phone before they can keep teasing her.

“I don’t know what I am going to with you two!”! says an amuse Alpha Chris.

“Like you have a choice! Love us! Your Life is much better with us in!”Mocks Alpha Darius.

“I’m so damned!” Laughs Alpha Chris. “ More seriously, Princess be careful and don’t trust anyone until we find who is the mole, please?”

“Of course. You know me.” says Anna-Lynn quietly.

“What did you do?” Asks Alpha Chris.

“I kind of found a roommate... I’m sharing the house with the Gamma - not the one who thinks I’m a whore – the other one. He is the one who is in duty on watching me” Says Anna-Lynn.

“So you didn’t find a better idea than to live with him? You know you can’t trust him! He will report everything to his Alpha!” Says Alpha Chris annoyed.

“I know! It’s just I fell in love with his daughter. She is only 7 weeks and she is a beauty! He seemed lost and she was crying, I had no choice. No Choice at all!” Says Anna-Lynn defending herself.

“Alright, I know how you love kids but-” starts Alpha Chris.

“Why she always get away so easily. It’s so unfair!” Cuts Alpha Darius.

“What can I say. I can resist when she looking at me with her puppy eyes.”

“Dad we are on the phone you can’t see her!” Adds Alpha Darius.

“Still in my mind, I can clearly see her face. Anyway be careful, baby girl and don’t tell him anything that he and his Alpha can use against you.” Says Alpha Chris.

“I swear Daddy! Also, can you bring a car here, please? I need one as soon as possible.” Asks Anna-Lynn.

“Sure, Darius will bring you one tomorrow.” Answers Alpha Chris.

“Thank you, I will let Liam knows, I think it’s-”

“ You are the Luna now you don’t need is authorization” Alpha Darius cuts her.

“Temporally and I don’t think you would like to wait in the border.” After a silence, she adds: “Yeah, it’s what I was thinking. I have to go. Love you both!”

“Love you too!” Says at the same time Alpha Chris and Alpha Darius.

As the phone call ends, I mind-link my father and John. When they arrived, we let them hear the record of the call.

“Well, that was interesting. At least we know for sure they are not working with Alpha Marcus.” John tells us.

“Yes. What the LB Toxin? It’s the first time I hear about that.” I ask.

“I don’t know son, never heard about that toxin neither. I’m relieved that you are still alive and start to feel better.”Says my father.

“Me neither. But they all knew what it was though...” says John thoughtful.

“Yes, we need to learn more about that. What about the mole, do you think it’s someone close to me?” That worries me a lot.


“If we can find how you were poisoned, we could have an idea of how it’s happened and if we have a mole.” Says my father.

“ Can we check if there are any spy-cameras here. I don’t think there is but I prefer to be sure.” Honestly, I will prefer that than someone betraying me.



“Sure.” They all say at the same time.

“At the same time, we need to find more information about that poison.” Aiden says.

“Maybe we can use Collin for that. I mean he is living with Anna-Lynn so he could be our best chance to learn more about her.” I say.

“That an excellent idea son.” Adds my father. “Your mother wants to see me. Do you have anything else to discuss?” I shake my head. “Great. I will try to push Anna-Lynn to speak too. See you later.”

“I’m going too. See you later.” Says John.

“I will mind-link him right now”. I open the mind-link to Aiden too.

“Collin?”

“Alpha?” A cold voice, he is still pissed about yesterday.

“I learned that you are staying with Anna-Lynn’s. I want you to befriend her. You can use your daughter for that, apparently, she loves kids. I want you to give all the information you can get.”

“ I will give any useful pieces of information I can get, Alpha. Anything else.” I hate that he is so cold.

“Did you speak with Connor? He is worried, you should try to fix your relationship.”

“Is that an order too, Alpha.” He answers try to contain his anger.

“No, but-”

“Than mind your own business. If you may excuse my Alpha, I have a mission to complete.” He cut me as he doesn’t want to speak about that.

“You may. See you soon Collin.” I cut the link when I realize he will not answer me.

“He is still really upset about yesterday.” Says Aiden

Thank you, captain obvious. I didn’t realize that myself! “ I know, he just needs time to accept the situation, Maybe he will even realize he can’t be a single father and the gamma of the pack. Adoption is a good solution.”

“ I can’t imagine how I will react if you would have lost Elena for another man. She is my mate.” He said looking sad.

“Hey, I know one day he will find the perfect fit for him. Look at me, Nora makes me happier than my true mate would never have.”

“Yeah sorry about that...”

“Don’t be it’s not your fault. Thank you to not have resentment against me for rejecting your sister.”

“ Come on she is not Luna material and you are more my family than her. You always were and always will.”

“ Do you really think she is sleeping with that Alpha?” I ask him a few minutes later.

“ I think so. I don’t see another reason for her calling him “Daddy”. This is so disgusting, he could be her father!” He answers me.

“Well, it’s their kind apparently.” I say laughing. He is shivering in disgust that makes me laugh even more.

Aiden, Connor, Nora, Elena and I are waiting outside the packhouse for Alpha Darius. As she said on the phone, Anna-Lynn asked me if he could come to leave her a car. The patrol informed us that two cars wherein the border 10 minutes ago - a sportive one driving by Alpha Darius car and an SUV driving by his mate Luna Veronica. The first car is a white Porsche cayenne as for the second car I never saw before. It’s a very aggressive red car. The logo is a W, I don’t know that brand. It’s a really nice car I wish I can try it.

“Do you think if he asks him, he will let us borrow it. I will do anything to try this beauty.” Aiden tells me through the mind-link, copying my thought

“Me too bro, me too. Do you know what car is it?”

“No idea. It’s the first time I see it. But wow!!!!” We are both in awe. What a marvelous car and it sounds-

“Stop drooling you two!” Says Nora trying to hide her smile.

“Alpha Darius and Luna Veronica. Nice to meet you both” Says Nora with a polite smile. This is why I love her so much! She knows when she needs to cover me up.

“ Alpha Liam, Luna Eleonora, Beta Aiden, Beta Female - sorry I don’t know your name and Gamma Co... I don’t know which one you are.” Says Alpha Darius.

Nora hates to be called Eleonora. She finds it too formal. If she can she would be rolling her eyes right now, but she is too polite for that. I love her name and I think it’s fit perfectly her Luna role.

“ The beta female is Elena and it’s Connor.” Says behind our back Anna-Lynn. “ And yes he is the one who said I’m a whore” She answers to a questioning Luna Veronica.

“ Alpha Liam, Luna Eleonora, Beta Aiden, Beta Elena, and Gamma Connor. Nice to meet you all!” Says Luna Veronica smiling. “Hey, you!” She had for Anna-Lynn, walking toward and hugging her.

“ Hey V., I miss you!” Says Anna-Lynn hugging her.

“No hug for me A.?” Teases Alpha Darius.

“You! You little rat! You stole my car!”

“You ask me to bring you a car, there it is!” Says Alpha Darius smiling innocently. Luna Veronica tries to hide her smile and shakes her head.

“I have a cabin in the middle of the wood! I will not use it. And you knew it! You take that excuse just to drive it” accuses Anna-Lynn before to add: “ And you took my Porsche too, to drive here so you at least steal one of them!”

“ Borrow not steal! And Veronica was driving your Porsche not me! So she is the one who steals your car.” Says Alpha Darius while Luna Veronica is laughing. “ At least, can’t you see how ironic it is? Just a reminder that the moon goddess gift you with more than beauty.”

“ Wait! That’s your car?” Asks Aiden incredulous.

“ What, She makes you rich too?” Asks Connor at the same time.

“Okay... So you are the twin with no brain.” Says Alpha Darius. Who he thinks he is. He is on my territory and he dares disrespect my Gamma.

“Darius!” Screams Luna Veronica, slapping his arm.

“Joking!!! Come one it was a good one.” When she looks at him with disapprobation, he starts to pout and adds: “ Nobody understands my sense of humor.”

“Maybe it’s because you don’t have one” Mocks Anna-Lynn. He gave her a finger.

“She looks so carefree with him. She is not the same person I used to know.” Aiden says thought the mind-link. He is right. She used to be quiet and insignificant. She was never speaking when not asking and never disrespect anyone. Still, she is speaking as him he was his equal and not an Alpha. They have to be close to his wolf to allow this behavior.

“ Is that a Lykan HyperSport?” Asks my father incredulous.

Nora rolls her eyes before whispering: “Man and car!” Elena nods in agreement and mutts “ More boys, look their face. They look like 5 years old kids on Christmas eve.” Nora coughs to hide her laugh.

“ Yes, Alpha Franck. It is. ” Says proudly, Alpha Darius. It’s like he knows something that nobody else knows.

“ Wow. It’s yours?” Ask my father.

“ Not it’s mine and I don’t like people borrow it without letting me know!” Says Anna-Lynn with menacing eyes at Alpha Darius.

“ Yours? really yours? How? You know it’s one of the most expensive cars in the world?” Says my father.

Damn it! He loves that car. If she lets him drive it, she will have an ally here. Please, Goddess, don’t let him drive this car.

Is it possible she is rich? that rich? Why did she do to win so much money? Another mystery. This girl is the ultimate enigma.

“ Really? No, I didn’t. It was a gift.” She answers.

“ A gift? Well, it’s a generous gift. Why did you do to receive it?” I ask suspiciously. Come on who offers so expensive car.

“ My smart mouth saves his ass.” She answers me with sarcasm.

“ What she means is she is doing mind-blowing blow job.” Says Alpha Darius trying not to laugh at his onw joke. His mate slaps his arm. Is the joke right?

“ Fuck you!” Anna-Lynn mouths at him.

“Don’t worry Honey, he is just jealous!” Says Luna Veronica.

“ Hey! As my mate, you have to be always by my side!” Protests Alpha Darius.

“ What can I say? She is really good with her mouth.” She replies raising her hands up in surrender.

Anna-Lynn bursts out laughing. Aiden is right she’s so carefree with them. They are friends for sure. Luna Veronica trusts her enough to let her hug him. When I see them integrate it’s like they have accepted her. They don’t even seem to care that she has no wolf. How can they trust her when she doesn’t belong with us. Maybe I can find more about her through them.
