Alpha's sweet dare

Chapter 29

It was incredible how Drake was precise in his attack, but he was so overwhelmed with worry and rage, that it was impossible for him not to succeed.

Lotta didn't want to tell him anything in this situation, although, he would feel it eventually, but now it wasn't time for that.

Later, she thought, when they came home, and when all this fuss was behind them, she would talk to him.

When all of them are in a safe place, their home.

Although he was tired from everything, he was still the most handsome man in her eyes, and he felt the same about her.

Their bond was too strong.

They just stood there, looking at each other, without a word, because there were no words that could describe everything they felt at that moment.

Only they knew that.

"Martin, you need to help her, now!" Viktor barged in, with Agatha in his arms.

She looked lifeless, so weak and tortured, and Lotta had a hard time looking at her, especially Drake.

She was still his younger sister, and whatever she had done, he still loved her, and cared for her, although they weren't the same blood.

Lotta knew that well, and she understood that, especially after her talk with Agatha.

She knew that Agatha was sincere.

"Here, put her on the table", Martin told him, running fast toward them.

He couldn't believe her bad condition, but he was a doctor and he needed to concentrate, to save her.

He put her on IV, but she needed blood.

A lot of it.

"The IV won't help much, if she doesn't get some blood fast Alpha", Martin told Drake.

"I can see that", Drake said, preparing himself for transfusion, but Viktor's voice stopped him.

"I'll do it", he firmly said.

"Viktor, I know that your intentions are good, but she needs the strongest blood now, and that's Drake's blood.!" Martin said, nervously.

There was no time to wait.

Drake's eyes were on Viktor's.

"She needs her mate's blood", which will help her more in this situation", Viktor hissed.

He was too defensive of Agatha, but Lotta and Drake understood him well and could feel his worriedness.

Martin stayed in shock before he understood what was going on.

Drake put down his sleeve and got closer to Viktor.

"Do it fast, my friend", he simply told him.

No questions, anger, or fights, nothing.

They all knew that at that moment, everything was just too much, or too little to say or do.

We need to hurry, because the sooner we get her to pack's hospital, the better", Martin spoke.

"There is much better equipment, here I got only basic things, which is driving me crazy", he said, frustrated.

He was a great doctor, but now he felt helpless, but who could blame him?

With everything that happened, it was understandable.

The warriors were taking care of rogues, while Lotta and Drake were waiting for transfusion to be over.

Agatha's heart beating was increasing, which was good, and she also gained some color in her face, but it seemed like she was quit fighting for herself.

That worried Lotta, because that was the last thing she wanted for her, not to mention Viktor.

He needed to try to win her, it was their chance for happiness.

"Alpha, everything is ready for us to leave, together with prisoners, and the rest of the warriors are coming ", Jack, one of the warriors reported, standing in the doorway.

"Keep going, we will follow you, and where the hell is Jules?!" Drake asked, angry.

"I'm here, Alpha", he was coming with Suzy in his arms.

His face was pale, just like Suzy's was.

"I left her, to take care of the things you told me, and now she is in a worse state, she barely drinks any water", Jules told that with such sadness, that both Drake and Lotta sighed.

"I'm fine Luna", her weak voice told Lotta.

"Oh, Suzy, for once in your life start thinking about yourself", Lotta pleaded to her.

"Martin, please...", Lotta said quietly, and he put her on another desk, to get her an IV.

Drake put his arms around her, not wanting to let her go, and it was understandable.

"That's enough Viktor, She is stable now, and as soon as Suzy finish with an IV, we can leave this horrible place", Martin said, and everybody felt relief.

It was finally time to get home, but it wasn't certain what situation would wait for them there, considering Drake's mother, whom situation no one knew, except Viktor and Jules.

Mary was barely alive when they put Agatha and Suzy in the pack's hospital, but she still was.

Now, when Drake was there, he could give her blood that would help her heal faster and that her body become stronger, so she could survive.

It was almost a week since they got back to the pack, and things were starting to be better, at least for Suzy and Jules, who were like two pigeons.

Mary was recovering and she even was in her room, while Martin often visited her, to check up on her, and give her medications.

Lotta stayed quiet, masking her pregnancy from Drake and everyone else, and she also threatened Martin that he mustn't say anything to Drake until everything was over.

There was still a lot to decide with survived rogues.

Will they stay and join the pack, or leave and never come back near this border?

Drake was smart, and there was no doubt that he would solve it fast.

The only thing that was keeping both of them sane, were their nights together, when both of them could hold each other in their arms, especially after they made love.

Agatha's state was a mess.

She was awake and she was gaining some weight too, and her skin wasn't pale like it used to be, but she was still in the hospital.

But, she didn't speak to anybody, not even Viktor, she avoided his every attention to get close to her, which drove him mad.

He started to be a wreck of a man because of her state, and Lotta decided that it was enough of that.
