Chapter 57
Chapter 57
Killian’s P.O.V.
“There must be a way to wake Crystal up,” I muttered in frustration while looking at her Crystal who was still unconscious. Theo was literally living in this room with her for the past six days. She was already healed up, and we all waiting for her to wake up now. Theo was looking so haggard, and exhausted, as if someone had snatched his soul out of his b*dy.
“We can do one thing.”
“What do you want to do?” I asked him in a calm tone. “Both I and Thunder can use our bonds to wake Luna up. I can feel through the sibling bond that Crystal has already woken up inside her. It’s a relief that she is not panicking inside,” Blake answered me in a calm tone.
you want to suggested, and my ears immediately perked up.
“Can we do that?” I asked him in a hopeful tone. He took a deep breath and looked at me with a blank gaze. “We can give it a try,” he answered me in a low tone. I knew that he was also not sure, but it was better to try than sit idly. “Theo,” I called Theo immediately. He was still sitting on the stool beside the bed.
He looked at me with tired eyes. I went near him and stopped beside the stool. “Did Thunder try to reach Luna?” I asked him in a calm tone. He sighed and looked back at Crystal. “Yeah… he is trying hard to reach any of them, but,” he answered me, but trailed in the end. “Let’s try again,” I said, and he craned his n*eck. towards me while knitting his brows in confusion.
“Let Thunder try again with Blake. Thunder is her mate, and Blake is her sibling. I am sure that their combined strength will surely bring her back,” I tried to comfort him while telling him my plan. “Are you sure?” he asked me in a hopeful tone. I pursed my l*ps but nodded lightly. He chuckled dryly and looked back at Crystal once again.
He understood that I was not sure, but we would never know the result before giving it a try. “Let’s do this,” he suddenly said, and a small smile crept on my l*ps. “Alright,” I said and then mind–linked Blake again. “I am ready,” Blake said in a determined tone.
I looked back at Theo, who was now looking back at me. “Close your eyes, and ask Thunder to concentrate on Luna and the mate bond. Try to reach her through Mate Bond once again. Don’t try to reach Crystal because she is already awake Inside, I instructed Theo in a calm tone.
He nodded and then stood up. I went to the other side of the bed. I looked at Theo
who was now looking calm right now. “Ready?” I asked
hand in my hands. He nodded and took her hand in his hands. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. “Bring her back, Blake. I can’t see her lying like this anymore,” I said to Blake, and a bitter smile appeared on his l*ps. I knew that he was in pain too as he loved her the most.
“Concentrate on Luna, and try to call her from time to time. Channel all your spiritual energy to me,” Blake instructed me, and I nodded to him. I didn’t need to instruct Theo as Thunder knew what they needed to do. I concentrated on my sister’s beautiful and smiling face. I smiled when I remembered our first meeting. All the memories of our time together flooded my mind immediately. Her laughter, her cries, her tantrums…. Everything appeared at the back of my mind.
“Come back, kiddo…. I really miss you,” I pleaded to Luna while thinking about our run together after her Luna Ceremony. We were both white wolves, and with Thunder between us…. That was a glorious night. I channelled all my energy towards Blake so that he could concentrate on our sibling bond with Luna. It was exhausting, and I felt weaker with every passing second. I felt a tug on my fingers, but I didn’t open my eyes.
“She is reacting,” Blake screamed in excitement, and I immediately tightened my grip on her hand. “Keep on trying, Blake… don’t let her sl*p once again,” I urged him, and I kept on calling Luna’s name in my mind. The problem was that Luna still had control of both their b*dy and mind. Crystal couldn’t take control until Luna gave it back to her. Crystal was trapped inside her b*dy, and it could be dangerous for her sanity to stay awake in her unconscious mind.
I didn’t know for how long, I kept on calling her, but I felt so weak that it was. almost impossible to keep on standing for me now. All my energy was drained completely. “Killian….. Let her hand go now,” I heard my father’s commanding tone. I wanted to open my eyes but I had no energy left in my b*dy. Before I could. react, I fainted as everything went black in front of me.
I slowly opened my eyes but felt it hard to open them completely as my eyelids. were so heavy right now. I felt weak, and it confused me now. I frowned in
confusion. What happened? Why was I feeling so weak? “Relax, son…. You are alright,” I heard my father’s voice once again. “Dad?” I called him in confusion in a hoarse voice. “Here… drink some water,” he instructed me again, and I felt his hand on my nape.
He lifted my head up, and I saw a glass filled with water in front of me. I sipped a few mouthful of water and felt relieved when the coldness of the water soothed my aching throat. He put my head down back on the pillow when I signalled him to

remove the glass. “What happened?” I asked him in a tired tone. “You and Theo fainted,” he told me, and I immediately snapped open my eyes in shock.
“What?” I asked him in shock and he sighed. I then looked around and realized that I was in another hospital room. The past memories before I fainted hit my mind, and I remembered what we did before I fainted. “Is…. Is she wake up?” I asked him immediately, and he smiled genuinely this time.
“Blake…. Did you hear… she “O goddess!” I exclaimed in relief and closed my eyes. woke up,” I said to Blake in a happy tone but frowned once again when he didn’t respond to me. “Blake is in deep sleep to regain his strength. Don’t bother him,” I heard my father say again, and I opened my eyes in confusion.
“You two used all your energy to reach her. Theo also did the same thing. The only thing that happened well is that Luna is now not unconscious but in a sleeping state. She will wake up soon now,” he told me further, and I smiled widely.
“Why are you smiling like an idiot, huh?” My father scolded me, but it didn’t falter my smile. “Blake and Thunder will be back soon. I am happy that we accomplished what we wanted to achieve,” I answered him, and the scowl on his face
immediately darkened. “Killian Knight. Do you know how dangerous it was for both of you, huh?” He scolded me again, and I pouted like a child.
“Of course, I know, Dad. But I missed my sister so much that I was willing to take this risk,” I answered him in a calm tone, but I was determined by my words. He again glared at me angrily. “The result is what we wanted. So, cheer up, Dad. She is back,” I coaxed him in a cheerful tone this time, because only Crystal could keep him calm in this situation.
“I don’t know what to do with your stubborn ass,” he muttered, and I grinned from ear to ear. I then removed the sheet from my b*dy. “What are you doing now?” he yelled at me again, and I sighed loudly. “I want to go see my sister,” I demanded, and he immediately shook his head negatively. “It’s already 1 in the night. Rest tonight… you need a lot of rest. You are still weak,” he replied to me, and my eyes widened in shock.
“1???? For how long was I out?” I asked him in shock. If I remembered clearly, then we hadn’t had our lunch when I and Theo decided to give this method a try. “You were out for more than twelve hours, stupid a**” he answered me while scolding me again. I just blinked while processing what he said. “Who is with Crystal now?” I asked him in panic when I remembered that Theo was also with me in this. If I was unconscious and this weak, there was no way that he would be unharmed.
Nelson is with her as Theo is still unconscious and is in the next room to her,” he
answered me, and my eyes widened in horror once again. “How could you entrust Crystal’s safety to him, Dad?” I yelled while trying to get up from the bed. Dad immediately pushed me onto the bed. “Because he is the one who saved your mother back then,” he yelled, but his statement took me off guard. I was startled by the revelation.
He sighed aloud and rubbed his forehead with a tired expression on his face. “There are a lot of things that we didn’t tell you, Killian, because we want to tell both you and Crystal the truth behind your mother’s disappearance all these years. The truth is that,” He paused and gulped hard, but I could see the pain written all over his face.
“What is the truth, Dad? Where is my mother?” I asked him in a cracked tone this time. He looked at me with tearful eyes. I suddenly felt that my father had aged instantly. He was a king, but right now he looked like a helpless person. “The truth is that she is in a coma for the past eighteen years, Killian,” he answered, and I felt that someone had stabbed my heart mercilessly…
if he knew that she is in a I just stared at him while processing what he said. If coma… it… it meant that he also knew where she is all these years…. he deceived. me all these years by faking searching for her…. how could he do this to me?
