Chapter 51
Chapter 51
Crystal’s POV
“Are you sure that this is a good idea?” Theo asked with uneasiness in his voice while looking out of the car. I sighed while looking at him helplessly. He had asked the same question thrice in a row in less than fifteen minutes.
“I know that you are concern about his safety, but this was the best idea, not to make them suspicious about our motives,” I gave him the same answer in a flat tone that I was telling him for the past fifteen minutes.
He still looked worried, and now it was getting on my nerves. “You have to trust my decision, Theo,” I grumbled in disappointment, and looked out of the window of my side. “Hey… look at me,” Theo immediately cupped my face, and forced my face to move towards him.
“Shouldn’t I be?” I asked him in a bitter tone while tilting my head a little. “Of course, you should, but try to understand my concern too,” he answered me in a loving tone, but his statement made me sigh internally once again.
“He is our future king, and your brother at the first place. Leaving him in a wild without much protection can be fatal for him,” he continued and I huffed. “He is not alone, and you know this. However, he was not a fragile werewolf, but the prince of the werewolves, the future king of the werewolves with some special abilities. With Edward beside him, he is invincible, Theo,” I put my point in front of him, making him smile lightly this time.
“I agree… I am sorry for doubting your plan,” Theo said after a few seconds. I didn’t continue the topic and leaned over him. He pulled me closer to him and held me tightly from my shoulder. “We should stay vigilant,” Luna said to me in a cautious tone. “I know… I just need a few minutes break,” I answered her in a tired tone.
“I can understand, pup…. But a slight carelessness can cost us lives,” she replied to
sense a me in a calm tone, but I could understand her point. “Did you I asked her, changing the topic. “Not yet… but there is heaviness in the air. We are inside the car, still I could feel this heaviness,” she answered me in a troubled tone.
I slowly straightened my back, and sniffed. I felt what she said, and immediately lower the window a little. “Did you feel that?” I asked Theo while looking out of the window. It was completely dark outside, and we could see things under the lamp posts on either sides of the road. I couldn’t see so far due to the darkness but I felt that someone watching us from afar.

Chapter 31
“Yeah… it seems that we are being followed from a safe distance,” Theo said in a low tone. I immediately looked at the person sitting on the passenger’s seat. “Mind link Prince Killian right now, and ask him to stay alert. Our enemy is not far from us,” I instructed the warrior sitting on the passenger’s seat. “Yes, Luna Crystal,” he immediately obliged my command.
I looked back out of the window but rolled up the glass completely. The glasses were bulletproof. Still anything can happen here. “Keep the car at a steady speed of sixty.” I instructed the driver in a calm tone, and looked at Theo. “I am. instructing the others,” he said and I just nodded in response. We had planned everything after discussing all the pros and cons of our travelling back to the pack tonight. Dad, our king, was angry when he came to know what we were going to do tonight as it was putting both mine and Killian’s lives in danger, but he gave his blessing to all of us.
“Yes, Luna Crystal,” the driver confirmed my command right after I instructed him. “Come on…. Show yourself tonight, and you will be doomed,” I muttered internally while looking outside the window. “Luna,” suddenly the driver called me in a respectful tone. “Yeah?” I answered him, still looking out of the window for any movement that could catch my attention.
“There is a passage of almost half a mile which is known as dead lock. You will get no signal there,” the driver informed me, and I shrank my nose in confusion. What did he want to say? “No pack has any control at this piece of land. That’s why, there is no development in that area, and that’s why, the rogues or rogue vampires seldom attack the passerby frequently,” Theo explained me the situation.
“Wait,” I snapped my head towards Theo, and narrowed my eyes. “What is it?” he asked me in a concerned tone. A plan formed in my mind immediately. “They are going to attack us in the middle of that area so that we neither go further nor go back,” I told Theo, and he nodded in agreement. “I thought this too,” Theo said and I looked at the warrior on the passenger’s seat once again..
“Mind link Killian, and ask him to hid himself around the middle of that area. Ask him to stay alert as it may be possible that the hybrids or the vampires are already there,” I instructed the warrior once again in a calm tone, and looked at Theo. “Wanna have some tonight?” I asked him while winking in the end, and a sly smile appeared on his l*ps.
“Ask the drivers of the other cars to maintain their distances from us, specially the car in front of us, and in back of our car,” I instructed Killian this time. “We will jump out as soon as we reach the middle of the road,” Theo announced and I nodded in agreement.
The prince said that they will be there in a few minutes as they are already going ahead of us. So far he didn’t find anything suspicious or a silhouette waiting for us to kill us,” the warrior conveyed Killian’s message to me, and I nodded in response once again.
