Alpha’s Rejected Second Chance Mate by Pradeep

Chapter 29

Chapter 29

Crystal’s P.O.V.

“Nervous?” Mom asked me in a gentle and loving tone, and I immediately

nodded. My hands were sweating furiously, and I felt that my whole back was also. covered in sweat. “It’s happening too fast, Mom,” I replied to her nervously, and she laughed this time.

“Why are you worrying so much, love? You have three mothers on your side. Just forget about everything and enjoy the night. It’s your night,” Aunt Sylvia said in a cheerful tone while zipping my dress on my back.

“Yes, Crystal. I agree with Sylvia here. You don’t need to worry, my dear. Although you will take over the Luna position from Sylvia tonight, but Sylvia will perform all the duties on your behalf until you finish your training. It will give you time, and strength to take over in the future,” Luna Elena spoke this time, explaining a few things to me in a gentle tone.

Mom finished my makeup in the meanwhile. I looked at myself and smile shyly. I never liked putting makeup on my face, but I wanted to look a bit different tonight. After taking an oath as Theo’s Luna, he would mark in front of the whole pack, sealing our fate together. I was happy that I would be with my fated mate forever, but I was still nervous about mating. Would I be a good mate?

Would I be able to satisfy, Theo? “Of course we are,” Luna chirped stating the obvious. “We are his mate, Crystal. We are made for each other. Of course we will be happy together,” she tried to encourage me, but her words made my heart beating furiously.

“You are scared for nothing,” she rolled her eyes, and sit down. I didn’t pay attention to her, but stared at myself in the mirror. “You are really looking a true Luna, my love. I am so proud of you, and I…. I shouldn’t say this…. But I am glad th.. that the goddess gave me the chance to raise you. You didn’t born from me, but I fed you my milk. I wish that we soon find our queen, but I beg you not to forget me,” Mom said in a choked tone this time.

“Mom,” I immediately threw myself in her embrace, and closed my eyes. “For goddess’s sake, Martha… Don’t make her cry. It will ruin her make-up.” Luna Elena whined but I could feel a crac k in her voice too. She was like second mother figure to me. She knew what Adam did to me, and yet she stood up for me against her son. It was enough for me to feel overwhelmed.

We are truly bless having them in our lives, Grystal,” Luna said in a choked tone this time, and I totally agreed with her. I released Mom from my embrace when we heard a knock on the door. “Mom…. everyone is waiting for you guys,” Vincent

led from the other side of the door.

“Ready to go, girl?” she asked me with a wide grin, and I nodded to

confirm. She immediately clapped happily. “Let’s go then, and show the world. who we truly are,” she said in an enthusiastic tone, making all of us laugh with her. We all walked out of my room. I smiled at Vincent who was still standing outside. “You are looking beautiful, kiddo,” he whispered while looking at me with admiration. I looked at him with tearful eyes. He was the one who accepted me as his sister first. He was one who took me in his embrace and didn’t let me go because he was afraid that something would happen back then when mom and dad brought me to the pack.

He came near to me, and raised his arm to me. I immediately tucked my hand around his arm, and smiled brightly. “Let’s go, brother,” I whispered, and he smiled widely. We all walked downstairs. I was now relaxed, and with Vincent beside me, I felt that my confidence had come back.

I curtly nodded to everyone who met us in our way to the training round where we were holding the ceremony. My heart ski p p e d a beat and I inhaled sharply when I saw Theo standing at the platform with Uncle Sylvester. He was wearing a white plain shirt with white trouser, and he was looking stunning under the moon light. He had to go for the pack run after the ceremony, and that was why, he was in simple clothes.

Vincent took me to the table where I was going to sit with my family and friends. Theo’s eyes were glued on me, making me blush harder. I tucked a loose strand behind my ear shyly while sitting on the chair. “You are looking beautiful, sis,” Killian whispered as he was already sitting on a chair near me. “Thanks, brother,” I thanked him shyly, making him laugh lightly.

Everyone stood up when Uncle Sylvester announced our king’s presence. I also stood up with Killian. We all bowed while bending our knees to show our respect to him. After our personal meeting only for two minutes, I now knew how heartbroken, and devastated he was because of the disappearance of my mother. He wanted to hug me, but he couldn’t because he didn’t want anyone to know our relationship. He was cautious because he was scared that the kidnapper would do something to harm me. My resolution to find my mother as soon as possible was getting stronger with every passing second. Both my parents deserved the happiness, and I was determined to bring them back together.

The king went straight to the stage with the royal beta. Beta Damon, Edward’s father was holding a golden bowl and a dagger in his hand. They started the ceremony, and I just stared at my handsome mate. He was looking so handsome and elegant right now. He was a true alpha and under the full moon light, his face. was shining brightly.

Suddenly a ray of moonlight struck him as soon as he finished taking his oath as an alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack. He gasped aloud while moving his head up.

Theo, I screamed in panic and was about to stand up when Killian held me back by my arm. “No need to panic, Crystal. He is a true alpha, and a true alpha is always blessed by the Moon Goddess at the night of his alpha ceremony. You can read about this in royal library,” he told me in a calm tone, but my eyes were

glued on Theo. I felt that his b*dy expanded a little, and grace on his face also sharpened.
