Crystal’s POV
I was the first one who shout happily when William took the oath. Killian was the one who finished the ritual for him. William roared aloud as soon as he finished taking the oath, and the whole area trembled hard, making everyone gasp in shock. It was the roar of an alpha, not of a beta. I learned that Killian refused to do anything for Adam yesterday night. I smiled bitterly at Adam in my heart.
He went behind powers and greed about wealth but lost everything in the end, even his title as an alpha. His Luna rejected him within an hour of being marked by him. This was the worst humiliation that I ever imagined for Adam. I knew that Rachel was also a power-hungry wolf, but I didn’t expect this from her.
What really shocked me was that she did it in front of the whole community. Now everyone knew about her true nature. Would she be able to find a mate in this lifespan? I didn’t have any sympathy for the duo, though. They got what they deserved
“We also have a second announcement,” Uncle Sylvester proudly announced during the dinner with all the Alphas and Lunas. My heart started beating furiously due to anxiety. Theo took my hand in his under the table, and I immediately relaxed under his touch.
“My son, the future alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack, Theo Blakefield, has found his Luna. She is the adopted daughter of my brother-in-law, Warrick Spears, Crystal Spears,” he announced, and there were so many gasps all around us. I didn’t look up, as I didn’t know how to face everyone’s gaze.
“Aren’t they cousins?” Someone voiced out, and my heart sk ipped a few beats in a row. This was something that I was dreading when my family came up with the idea that they would announce me as their adopted daughter. It was not a lie, but it still hurt. Killian asked us, not to tell everyone now about me being the princess for the time being, but didn’t explain to me the reason for his decision. “Adopted???? How is it even possible? “Alpha Sylvester is telling the truth. In fact, I suggested to them, not to tell anyone about Crystal being adopted for the child’s sake. I am happy that she found her happiness, Alpha Adrian said, clearing the doubts of everyone. She still remains his cousin in this case, Alpha Adrian, someone voiced out, and my grip on Theo’s fingers tightened. I didn’t want to reject him.

He was a good friend of both Alpha Adrian, and my father. I smiled nervously and bowed in front of him with Theo. “Thanks, Alpha Donald, Theo thanked him in a polite tone. After that, the whole crowd congratulated us, and the fear of rejecting Theo slowly started fading away from my heart.
I looked at Killian, and he smiled widely, I grinned from ear to ear in response and looked at William who was standing next to Killian with Vincent. I couldn’t tell how relieved and happy I was when I saw all of them grinning. It didn’t matter if I was related to William and Vincent by blood or not. I had known them as my brothers for all my life, and they would remain my brothers for the rest of my life..
After that, Killian asked Vincent to take his oath as William’s beta, and I clapped aloud while jumping on my feet happily. It was overwhelming, but I was really on cloud nine right now. I then went to William and Vincent and hugged them like old times to congratulate them.
I heard a low growl behind me, but that didn’t stop me from expressing my happiness to them. He could growl all night to my care. Both William and Vincent growled back, threatening him to dare say something.
Everyone around us laughed at Theo, making me blush in embarrassment. I slowly came down from William’s embrace, and glared at Theo. He then pulled me into his side embrace lightly.
“Now you are officially my Luna, my love,” he whispered to me in a very low tone so that no one else could hear him. I turned crimson red and looked in the other direction on the ground. Luna Elena would continue the duties of Luna for this pack until William finds his mate, and I really wish for my brother’s happiness this time.
Mom and Aunt Sylvia with Luna Elena came near us, and they pulled me into their embraces for a family hug. I laughed and embraced all of them. The warmth of their love ran all over my b*dy, making me feel like the luckiest person on the surface
of the earth at this time.

“When are you thinking about hosting your mating ceremony, Theo?” she asked him in a light tone while releasing me from her embrace but keeping her hands around my torso.
“It’s not decided yet, Luna Elena. But I guess the next week on the full moon?” He answered her with a bit of hesitation, and my heart sk ipped a beat. The next full moon was after five days. It was so soon.
“There is no doubt about that, Theo, I talked with your father, and he also agreed for the same day,” Aunt Sylvia confirmed what Theo said, and 1miled nervously. Everything was happening very fast. Was I ready to be a Luna?
“What happened, honey? Why are you looking pale?” Luna Elena asked me in a worried tone. “Uhhhh… n… nothing, Luna.. I., I am okay, I answered her nervously, but the worry didn’t leave her face.
“Are you sure?” she asked me again, and this time, I nodded to her, indicating that I was really okay. “You don’t need to worry, my love. You have me there,” Aunt Sylvia comforted me in a cheerful tone, and winked at me in the end.

“Let’s go… there are so many people who want to congratulate you,” Luna Elena ushered us. Theo took my hand in his and intertwined our fingers. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I opened them after some time and looked at Theo.
“Let’s go,” he said gently, and I nodded. Now it was time to face the world.
