Thunder threw Ruben in front of Queen Elizabeth, and Adam threw Marcus at the same time. Nelson was still holding Luna tightly in his embrace as she was still snarling in anger. Both Thunder and Luna were on the verge of losing their sanity, but Thunder still had control over his anger, 

Queen Elizabeth and her witches immediately put a spell on both Ruben and Marcus, making them unable to move even a finger. They were already on the deathbed, but it was better to be on the safe side. 

Thunder, then came to Nelson and pulled Luna into his embrace. “Calm down, my love… you are suffocating everyone.” He coaxed Luna in a loving and gentle tone. Queen Elizabeth started working on breaking the spell, and I looked at my parents lying on the bed. If I hadn’t had the werewolf hearing, I would have taken them as dead. Their breaths were too shallow now. 

“Go to your sister and try to connect with her wolf. She must see what is happening to Marcus and Ruben…. Thunder kept coaxing Luna to calm her down.

Thunder, then, took Luna to our younger sister. I also walked to Victoria’s bed, and sat down beside her waist. “Wake up now, my love…. And see them dying… See how Marcus is begging for his life now… he is a human now, and is already half dead… wake up, my love…. this is the time.” I murmured to her under my breath as I didn’t want to disturb the witches. 

I felt Nelson’s hand on my shoulder, but I didn’t look back at him. “She will surely wake up soon, William. She is now strong enough.” He consoled me in a very faint voice. I knew that he also didn’t want to disturb them.

I just nodded once in agreement and looked back at the witches once again. They had pushed all the beds into the corners and created a circle in the middle of the room. Now, both Ruben and Marcus were lying in that circle with Valencia’s b*dy. Both of them were unconscious, and I could say that they wouldn’t wake up after this. 

I was drenched in blood, and that was why, I was resisting taking Victoria into my embrace. I didn’t want to d*rty her clothes with the filthy blood of those rogues and hybrids. All of us needed a shower badly. 

Suddenly my mother started coughing aloud, and before we could understand, she coughed blood. “Mom.” I. Vincent, and Crystal yelled in panic at the same time. I shot up on my feet and was about to take a step towards them when Nelson pulled me back into his embrace. 

“You have to stay calm, William… you have to stay calm.” Nelson said to me in a stern tone. I heard Crystal crying faintly in despair. My parents were about to lose their lives too. My heart was now running a marathon in anticipation. 

A witch immediately poured something into my mother’s mouth, and she calmed down. Her breathing was still shallow. With every passing second, my anxiety escalated to its extent. I could now hear my own heartbeat. 

Suddenly Elizabeth gasped aloud, and before we could understand, her b*dy flew away in the air. We all gasped in shock, and Nelson’s grip on my arm tightened immediately. “What is happening. Emily?” Crystal asked in a panicked tone. 

“Th… the spell…. It’s still very strong.” Emily answered Crystal in a weak tone. I felt that my heart

“Do you know how to break this spell, Marcus?” Elizabeth asked him in a calm tone. A small smile crept on his l*ps, but it seemed too creepy because of his condition. I didn’t know if we could believe his words or not, but this was the only thing that we could do now. 

“She has been his love interest for more than twenty years, William. He always claimed that he loves her, but I didn’t know if we could trust his words or not. It’s better if we don’t trust his word. Talk to Crystal. Only she can say anything to them because of her relationship with the queen,” Aero said in a serious tone through our link. 

I looked at Crystal and breathed in relief when I saw doubt on her face too. I looked around and everyone present in the room had the same expression on their face. “Yes, I know… how to break this spell, but I have one condition,” he replied to her with a wicked smile on his l*ps. The little sympathy that I felt for him immediately vanished from my heart. 

“State your condition, Queen Catherine asked him in a stiff tone this time. I clenched my fists tightly and stood up from the bed while going towards Crystal. I had this hunch that it was something related to Crystal and Ivory. Vincent went to Ivory at the same time. 

“Your daughters…. they have to sacrifice themselves on their wills, and have to pass their powers to me. You also have to come back to me,” Marcus stated his condition with a sinister smile on his face, and so many angry growls boomed throughout the whole area. 

Nelson went forward and slapped Marcus in a fit of rage. No one tried to blame him. Nelson pulled his already shattered b*dy by pulling his hair. “How dare you talk about my daughters…. you pathetic leech… I will kill you,” Nelson roared at him, but Ruben started laughing in a muffled tone. 

“Our lives ar… are bound through thi.. this spell, Nelson. You lost to me in this game. Either your daughters…. th. they will die after our deaths…. or… they will die… choose your choice,” Ruben said

“No one but we are the only qualified ones here to choose what to do, Ruben.” We all snapped our heads towards my father when we heard his weak voice. Both my parents slowly opened their eyes and looked at Ruben and Marcus. 

“Mom… Dad,” Crystal screamed in a choked tone, but Theo held her tightly into his embrace. I went to them in long strides. “Vincent… come here,” Warrick called Vincent in a weak commanding tone. My heart sank when I realized what he was going to do. They had already made the decision. 

“No… no… I am ready to die… they shouldn’t die… reverse the spell, Elizabeth…. let me die… let me die, Crystal screamed in agony while thrashing herself in Theo’s embrace. She was desperate to move away from him this time..
