Adrian’s POV.
“What is happening, Jodie? Why were they losing their breath?” I asked the doctor in panic when I felt that their heartbeats were declining. Adam, Crystal and Theo were lying on the same bed right now as Theo and Adam were holding Crystal’s hand on either side.
Dr. Jodie panicked too and asked his staff to try to wake them up. I could feel how
now, but I could also feel his anxiety. The queen was now angry Killian was r sobbing in Cynthia’s embrace, while Nelson was now standing with me. We were standing near Theo.

Killian was still yelling at the medical staff but I isolated myself from all those things around me and fully concentrated on the bond. Soon, I felt Crystal’s emotions. She was not scared but exhausted and determined. It seemed that she was struggling hard to wake up.
“Let me try,” I heard Nelson saying in an anxious tone. I immediately opened my eyes. “I will help you, I said to him hurriedly. He looked at me in confusion but nodded in agreement. “We need to wake up Crystal first. She… she is trying hard. to wake up. So, it will be easy for her to wake up soon. Sh.. she just needs some strength,” I told them hurriedly what I felt..
“Let’s do this now. I will help you too,” Killian said in a determined tone. Both I and Nelson looked at him questioningly. “She is my sister. I can feel that she is struggling hard,” he explained in a frustrated tone. I sighed and nodded in agreement. I forgot that both Killian and Crystal had white wolves which also. created a strong sibling bond between them.
“Okay… then let’s do this. Both you and Adrian used your bonds to connect yourselves with Crystal and I will connect myself with Adam. I…. “She is spasming, Dr. Jodie screamed in panic, shocking all of us. Theo also started trembling, followed by Adam. “Do it now,” Nelson yelled and without even wasting a second, I immediately put my hand on her leg with Killian. But it didn’t discourage me. I used all my strength and channelled it inside Crystal through our bond. To my surprise, it was draining my energy faster than I expected, but I couldn’t back down now. I felt her b*dy still trembling.
“Adam is the one who is resisting now. We need to pull him back as he is using both Crystal and Theo’s energies.‘ Nelson said in a worried tone, making my heart beating furiously. “Come on, Crystal….. come on….. only you can make him come out…. you can do this, girl…. you can do this,‘ I pleaded to Crystal in my heart.
“Why is he resisting? Is he insane?” The queen yelled in panic this time. I took a deep breath and concentrated more on the bond. I felt dizzy, but soon felt that her b*dy started calming down. These few minutes were like hours to me.
“Jodie….. she is waking up.” Suddenly, the queen exclaimed in excitement, making me eyelashes fluttering

I looked at Adam and paled in worry when I saw that there was no movement in his b*dy. He was breathing but that was also shallow. Nelson was still holding his hand and had his hand on Adam’s forehead.

Crystal immediately turned towards her and patted his chest to comfort her. I narrowed my eyes in confusion because I really didn’t get anything from their conversation.

covered in sweat and I could see that he was also in pain. Suddenly Adam shot up and gasped aloud. Nelson fell down on ground but Killian immediately pulled him up in his embrace. I almost ran towards Adam.
I stopped in my tracks and looked at him startled. There was a change in his eyes. His eyes became red after he converted into a hybrid but now his eyes were red. with a hint of ocean blue in the inner circle… the natural colour of his eyes…..
He was still gasping but looked around frantically. “No… No… Crystal…. Let’s go back… I need to find her…. I need to find her.” He suddenly pounced on Crystal and started yelling at her while holding her from her shoulders. She was now sitting on the bed. He took Crystal off–guard and she whimpered in pain.
“Adam… you are hurting her,” Theo screamed at him immediately and pushed him harshly. I was startled by the turns of the events. What exactly did they experience? Theo pushed Adam away, and Adam lost his balance. He was about to fall from the bed but Nelson immediately held him by his shoulders.
“Nelson…. Nelson…. Y… you have to help me…. I need to find her I really need to find her,” Adam pleaded to Nelson while holding him by his arms. “We will find her, Adam…. But first…. Calm down… calm down,” Nelson answered him with patience and tried to calm Adam down.
“How can I calm down, Nelson? How can I? She… She is trapped there…. Sh… she is…. in lot of pain… she will die, Nelson… She… She can die,” Adam yelled at him in a choked and painful tone. I was really confused about whom he was talking about. Was he talking about the girl who asked for help from Crystal?
“Who will die, Adam?” Killian asked him in a confused tone. Adam snapped his head towards him. I was startled when I saw tears in my son’s eyes. “My mate, Killian…… My mate,” Adam answered him in the same tone. Our eyes widened in shock when he heard his answer.
