When Aria opened her eyes the first thing she saw was was Marcus's face staring at her. Pain coursed through every bone in her body and she realized that Milean was so wracked with the pain of the betrayal of their mate that she hadn't helped to heal Aria. Marcus was looking at her so sadly that Aria couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness for him. Milean whimpered, hoping that the whole thing was a dream or that something had happened that made her mate act this way. Either way, Aria didn't want to see Marcus right now, looking at him only made her remember everything that he had done and said to her and that pain was enough to make her heart ache. She didn't try to speak to him as she stood slowly from the bed and he came forward trying to help her. Jerking her arm away from him she made her way out of the room mind linking to Eve to come tell her what happened. She didn't remember much from that night when that man had attacked her and she had defended herself. She only remembered glimpses of electricity crackling through the air and the screams of her people and then pain, lots of pain. She hated that she felt pain because of Marcus, because she had let him into her life and trusted him. He was, after all, her mate and she had wanted to give him a chance and look where that had led her.

Eve approached her with a sob, wrapping her arms around Aria's body as she cried into her shoulder, her tears wetting Aria's shirt. "I thought...I thought you were dead because of HIM!" Eve sent a death glare over Aria's shoulder as she pulled away and Aria knew that Marcus was standing in the doorway. Milean was still whimpering, calling out to Marcus's wolf and Aria had to snap at her to shut up. She wasn't ready to talk to Marcus yet despite his attempts to approach her with earned him a growl from Eve. He called out to her as she was walking across her lawn with Eve listening to Eve's retelling of that night. Finally she had to turn to him and address his callings, "Buzz off Marcus. Things are still blurry from last night but I do know that you hurt me and my wolf and I don't know the reason but I do know that I'm pissed off with you right now!" Marcus stopped dead in his tracks and Aria turned on her heel to see Eve smiling at her.

"Eve I have to call a pack meeting and address them. After last night and from what you have told me, I nearly fried them all. We also have no idea when the rouges will attack and we must start preparing." Aria's body still hurt and her head pounded but her duties to her pack must be put before anything else, that included Marcus and her own well being. Eve however sent Aria a glance before putting a hand on her shoulder, stopping her.

"Aria, you just released a thunderstorm out of your body a few hours ago and then crash landed back to Earth. I think that you can allow yourself to rest. The pack is...curious but they know that the well being of their Alpha is much more important than their questions. Besides, all due respect but if you are going to be the best alpha that you can be you must fix things with your mate."

Aria let out a sigh and gave Eve a hard look but she knew that her beta was right. That's why she had appointed Eve delta and now beta, because she was always right and gave Aria the truth, even when it was hard to hear. Some of her pack members gave her brilliant smiles and waves but none approached her, seeing that she was walking towards Marcus who stood sulking in the corner of the porch on her house. As soon as he saw her coming he ran to meet her, spewing out words before she could even open her mouth. "It wasn't my fault the moon goddess was controlling me! I fought her as hard as I could but I couldn't stop her and until you were falling from the sky she wouldn't give up her control over me. I am so so sorry but you know that I would never ever hurt you on purpose or threaten our relationship!" He stared at Aria with a desperate look on his face hoping that she would believe him. She was about to tell him to give her space to think about it, despite Milean who was howling with joy that their mate had apologized and was ready to jump back into his arms when a voice called out to her in her. At first she thought that she was imagining things because the voice sounded a lot like the moon goddess, and she never talked to wolfs during the day if ever. Then the voice called out to her again, sounding even more clearer in her mind and Aria replied, Moon goddess? If that's you I have a serious bone to pick because you nearly killed me! The voice let out a little laugh before sounding again, quieter this time, Oh dear child, I understand but I did what I did so that you could see your true potential and you didn't even reach it last night. You have much more power than I thought you did and that is good because you will need every last drop of it if you are to destroy those rouges. Marcus is telling the truth, I was controlling him everything that he said and did last night was because of me. Aria was going to ask more questions but she felt the presence leave her head and she knew that the moon goddess was gone. Instead she looked up at Marcus who was looking at her worriedly, awaiting her response as if his life depended on it.

"I..forgive you."

She whispered staring up at him and his eyes sparked with joy, his wolf showing for a moment before he wrapped her up in his arms grinning against her ear. "I love you so much Aria." She felt herself grinning back as Milean went crazy in her head and she pulled back and tousled Marcus's hair.

"I love you to you crazy wolf." He grinned at her before leaning down and kissing her deeply, his hands resting on her waist as he pulled her closer. Aria smiled into the kiss before breaking it to rest her head on his chest before things got to heated in front of the pack.

"We have more important things to do other than stand here and make out Marcus. I get a feeling that we don't have much time."
