Alpha's Fated Slave Mate

Chapter 65 Follow him

The best thing to do before the rouge attacked was to counterattack first to at least get the civilians of Navia out of here.

I put my short sword away and transformed into a wolf to head to the outskirts of the city.

On the way, Joslin and the other wolves rushed over. Behind Joslin and I was a pack of werewolves, pouring out of the city from all corners of the city.

Outside the city, the rouge also began to attack us. Joslin and I were the first to rush into the rouge ranks, going into berserk almost simultaneously. The battlefield was nothing but bright red in our eyes, the taste of blood spreading in my mouth, eating away at my sanity, and anger bringing out all my powers.

Both the Freelancer and the rouge were falling, and as soon as they fell, their lives would be ended before they could get up. And I will not die here, I will live!

The rouge grew and a pack of black wolves came into view and quickly ran towards me. It was clear to me that they were targeting me, and Joslin spotted the pack of black wolves and turned to close in on me.

Among the pack, I saw Adri again, no emotion in his eyes. I charged at him as fast as I could, knocking a roughy out of the way, and he and I jumped up at the same time, lunging at each other. My claws and his swept over each other's bodies, landing in both directions. Turning around, I had an extra gash on my shoulder and Adri was wounded.

"Adri......" I tried to establish mental communication with him, even though I knew it was foolish to do so.

Adri tossed his head twice as I kept trying to break through that barrier, but Adri fell to the ground in pain, his eyes staring angrily at me.

"What are you trying to do to me?" Adri questioned angrily, revealing a mouthful of sharp teeth.

"I just want to wake up the real you, you are not only my husband, but also William's father, have you forgotten all about that?" I stepped toward him.

"I told you, I'm Salle, not Adri, but my goal this time, is to capture you." Adri forced himself to stand up and look at me with pain.

"What a coincidence, I am also aiming to catch you, so let's see who is better." I said to him.

Adri charged at me again, I jumped to the other side, dodged his attack and swung my claws towards his back to grab. He moved with the same agility to dodge my attack.

"Kasha, mental bodies don't change a werewolf's habits." Bella's voice had been absent for so long that if I hadn't still been able to transform, I would have even thought she was no longer there. "Bella, you've had a long sleep." I said to Bella in my head.

"Actually, I was forced to slumber. In the months after your pregnancy, I had to slumber because your body was under more and more pressure." Bella explained to me.

"Well, I'm very glad you woke up, but I don't have time to explain all this to you, I have to catch Adri," I said to her.

"Although I've been asleep, I've always known what was happening, I just couldn't establish communication with you. You have to find Adri's weakness, and you should know it." Bella said.

I watched Adri's attack, before this, Adri was strong enough, but the only weakness was his speed. Compared to other wolves, he was not slow, but compared to black wolves, he was much slower.

Is this the reason why rouge wants to change him into a black wolf?

The battlefield was too chaotic, and after a few exchanges with Adri, I chose to draw him away. I turned and ran towards the forest, with Adri following close behind me. At a hillside, I stopped and turned to look at Adri. "Not going to keep running?" Adri said to me mockingly.

"Once I did think of escaping, but you wouldn't allow it, and even threatened me to stay by tagging me, which, unfortunately, you've forgotten." I said looking at him.

"I haven't forgotten anything, and I'm sorry for looking like you, but I'll still take you back and give you to Sotto," Adri said to me.

"If I would go with you to see Sotto, would you believe what I say?" I asked him.

"In that case, I will think about it. So, do you want me to take you back, or do you want to come with me?" Adri asked.

"Kasha, what are you going to do? If you go with him, Sotto will make you a werewolf like him too." Bella started shouting frantically in my head.

"I promise to go back with you." I said to him, and Adri led me back.

Before entering the rouge territory, Adri reverted to his human form and gave me a suit and a bit of medicine, but he didn't want to talk to me. "Kasha, leave quickly! You can't go with him." Bella yelled even more frantically.

"I know what I'm doing, and if I can't see Sotto, Joslin doesn't know when he'll have a way to get those people back." I said to Bella in my head. Bella fell into silence and stopped talking.

I followed Adri, he still had the mark of the Hobart family on his neck, but it looked a little fuzzy, that mark didn't know if it would eventually disappear with his memories. I looked at him, and all the memories of the past came back to me.

I unconsciously reached out to hold his hand, and sensing my movement, Adri immediately made an attacking face.

"What do you want?" He looked at me warily and questioned.

"I just want to take your hand, we used to do that too." I replied with a bitter smile.

Adri looked at my hand for a moment in silence, and slowly reached out and took my hand.

In that moment, it seemed like a long time ago.

I followed him to a car and got in the passenger side, Adri drove and turned around, and I reached for his arm again.

"You're interfering with my driving." Adri said calmly, turning back to me.

I let go of his arm and leaned back in the seat.

"Why the sudden change in your attitude?" Adri asked coldly.

"Because you are my husband, the father of my children, and no matter what, I can't do anything to kill you, I am your wife and should be on your side." I said to Adri.

He didn't answer my words and focused on driving.

At an underground shelter, Adri stopped the car.

This shelter has existed for hundreds of years, through several disasters and wars, yet it is still well preserved. The person who built it was a construction engineer, but he has died many years ago. This place was gradually forgotten and finally became Sotto's station.

It was indeed the best way for Sotto to choose this place for his residency.

Adri led me into the shelter. After a short period of darkness, the lights gradually came on and everything around us became clearer and clearer. Every so often, two rouge guards would be stationed at intervals.
