Chapter 22 A big hug
Adri and Senge were surrounded by a group of rouges after being separated from them. Even though Adri was strong, the intention of these rouges was to slowly exhaust their physical strength.
Adri also realized this and conserved his strength as much as possible, but every time this happened, the rouge launched a more violent attack.
Senge's strength is a little worse than Adri, has begun to support, and the body is getting more and more bruises.
Carlton, because of his age, has fallen to the ground several times under the siege of several wolves.
"Werewolf warriors, we fight for the glory of Mills City, even if we have to stain this earth with blood, we....have to defend the dignity of Mills City!" Carlton stood up once more and said in a loud voice, his thick voice echoing in mid-air.
Encouraged, the wolves attacked the rouge even harder, each time attacking the vitals.
Adri was knocked to the ground by one of the rouge's leaders, and the sharp claws left horrific wounds on his body.
At that moment, I saw once again the scene of Tina falling in a pool of blood.
I let out a hiss of rage, everything in front of me began to glow red, and the bloodthirsty desire in my heart burned like a blaze.
The battlefield was near and the rouge came around towards me.
"Kill them!" A cold voice came from my mind.
I swung my own claws and slapped them all down to the ground.
Skimming over the rouge's body, I rushed straight at Adri.
I didn't want him to die, even though he rejected me twice.
Adri no longer had the strength to stand up and lay on the floor looking at me.
I put him on my back and ran off into the distance.
Away from the battlefield, I put him on the ground, and Carlton still needed me.
"You bastards, all of you, go to hell!" I yelled as I reentered the battlefield. rouge noticed me and gave up fighting Carlton and surrounded me.
But they seemed to be in fear of me, and no one dared to come forward easily.
"You're the berserk werewolf? It's none of your business, get out if you don't want to die." The lead rouge walked back and forth and said to me, he was threatening me.
"You killed my mother, and now you hurt my mate, and you dare to say it's none of my business?" I finished and charged directly at the rouge leader.
At my speed, he barely had time to react before I hit him in the head with my claws and sent him flying, landing far into a bush.
"Come together and finish her off!" A rouge werewolf said next to where the rouge leader had just stood.
Dozens of werewolves lunged at me together.
Everything in front of me was only scarlet, and I could no longer see the position and movements of the werewolf.
But I could feel each one hit a somewhat hardened object, and I knew that those were the werewolves attacking me.
I don't know how long it took for the scarlet color to slowly fade before my eyes.
When I looked at it all again, at my feet, stepped hundreds of rouge bodies piled up into a small mountain.
Not far ahead was Adri, lying on a stretcher, waving gently at me.
"Kasha...please, respond to me..."
I let out a hiss to the remaining rouge and they quickly fled, soon disappearing into the woods.
I took one step towards Adri and the red in front of me returned to its original form.
Walking up to him, I stopped in my tracks and looked down at Adri.
The sight reflected my already blood-stained fur, which must be very scary for me now.
"Kasha, great..." Adri gave me a smile and slowly closed his eyes.
"No, no, Adri, wake up!" I called out to him, but he didn't respond.
Adri was rushed to the wolf pack doctor, and I ran to the place where I had hidden my clothes and collapsed on the ground in a moment of weakness after regaining my human body.

The battle just now consumed almost all of my strength.
I braced myself, put my clothes back on, stood up and walked towards the city.
But with each step, my legs trembled.
"Miss Kasha, we were sent by Mr. Carlton to pick you up." A car pulled up beside me, and the two young men who got down said to me, and then helped me to the car. Not long after getting into the car, I drifted off to sleep.
When I woke up, I was lying in a hospital room with tubes of various instruments attached to my body.
"Where's Adri?" I asked, looking to the nurse next to me who was taking notes.
"What you need now is rest, as for the rest, wait until your body recovers." As the nurse spoke, I had already pulled the tubes off my body.
The heart monitor emits an ear-piercing ticking sound.
I walked out of the hospital room, just to make sure he was still alive.
"Miss Kasha, you're awake?" At the door of the ward, Mede looked at me and inquired.
"Where's Adri?" I asked, looking at the two men.
"He's in the ward at the end of the hallway." Mede pointed to the other side of the corridor.
I hurried over and pushed open the door to the room where Adri was lying on the hospital bed, but he hadn't woken up yet.
"This lady, you..." The nurse was doing a physical examination on Adri and saw me walk into the room and frowned at me.
"How is he?" I forced myself to calm down.
"His injuries are serious, he had lost a lot of blood when he was brought in, and he is not through the danger period for now." The nurse said to me. And I stood by his side until the nurse left the room after taking care of everything.
I sat in the chair next to the bed and just looked at him like that.

The sunset shone on Adri through the floor-to-ceiling windows, making his pale face look a little rosy.
I don't know why, but I felt sad, and an indescribable pain spread from my heart to my whole body, and made me feel cold.
It's still summer and the air conditioning in the room is just the right temperature, but I just feel so cold.
As if I were going to freeze myself, I curled up in a chair.
"If I say I want to try to get closer to you now, is it too late?"
I bowed my head and prayed for a miracle when I heard Adri's familiar voice.
Jerking his head up, Adri looked at me from his hospital bed with a smile.
"What did you...say?" I couldn't believe my ears, but I could be sure I had heard correctly and just wanted to confirm it again.
"I mean, maybe we should accept the guidance of the moon goddess." Adri said to me with a smile.
"You won't reject me anymore?" I was already so excited that I couldn't speak, and tears poured out of my eyes.
"I know that the decisions I made and the things I said to you before were very foolish, so I'm willing to apologize for that and make it up to you. After your coming-of-age ceremony, I will explain this to everyone." Adri said to me seriously. That's probably the most cheerful thing I've ever heard.
"Kasha, did you hear that? He finally accepted you back, our mate! You did it! I'm so proud of you!" Bella shouted as she jumped up and down in my head in excitement.
And I didn't know how to react for a while, sitting in my chair and looking at him in a daze.
"Can I have a big hug?" Adri said as she opened her arms to me.
I jumped over to him excitedly and hugged him.
"I think...you're holding too tight, my wound...hurts...," Adri said in pain.
I just reacted and hurriedly let go, wiped the tears and sat next to him and looked at him, couldn't help but laugh.
"My wolf had been cursing me for a long time before you hugged me." Adri said to me with a smile.
"Hey, kid, you sure know how to pick your time to take advantage!" Mede appeared at the door of the ward with an unhappy face.
