Chapter 21 The Wrath of Mills City
As we walked down the hall, there were two teams of maids standing at the door, and they saluted neatly as Carlton and I walked past.
At the end of the procession stood a butler whose hair was already snow-white.
"Dear Miss Kasha, it is a great honor to have you here, I am Nakan, Mr. Mede's butler." The butler said, bowing to me.
"Kasha, don't be nervous, here, you are more honored than me." Carlton said with a smile.
The maid then separated Adri and me, and the butler led me into the living room in front.
The living room is even more extravagant than Adri's villa, even the chairs are gilded.
And I also saw the owner of the Mede Garden here.
Mr. Mede, like Nakan, is an old man with snow-white hair, only he looks in good spirits.
"You're Kasha?" Made, on crutches, slowly walked up to me, his voice trembling as he spoke.
"Yes, Mr. Mede, it's a pleasure to meet you." I greeted Mede politely.
"I could not be happier to see the daughter of Kanas while I am still alive, and on behalf of all the inhabitants of Mills City, I extend to you a welcome."
Mede had tears in his eyes and a smile on his face.
"Med, I still have to tell you something very unfortunate, Alpha Kanas was killed a few years ago, Tina was also killed by rouge half a month ago, only Kasha survived." Carlton said to Mede with a sigh.
"What? The rouge killed Tina? What the hell is going on here?"
Mede was shaken with rage after hearing Carlton's words.
Carlton explained all this to Mede, who clutched his cane even more angrily.
"Carlton, you old bastard, is there any need to hesitate about this? I order you now, gather your troops immediately, rouges dare to cross the border one step, let them feel the anger of the people of Mills City and kill them." Mede's tone was full of anger and hatred.
"Yes, Mr. Mede."
Carlton bowed in reply, and his address to Mede changed.
"Killing Kanas and Tina is the greatest insult of all! If you can't kill those bastards, I'll kill you, remember? You're not at a point where you can't fight, you bastard." Mede said in a cold voice.
"Of course I will not spare them, please be assured that Mills City is willing to fight for Kanas." Carlton replied.
Mede looked at me with guilt and heartache in his eyes and walked up to me and reached out and hugged me.
"Rouges will surely pay dearly for his crimes, and this is what I can do for Kanas to the best of my ability." Mede said to me firmly.
While I was still getting over all this, the city of Mills had erected numerous silver banners with the same design on the back of the necklace my father left me. It's a wave.
The first time I saw this pattern was on one of his daggers.
He said to me that it was a totem that once belonged to him and was once his glory.
I stood on the walls of the city of Mills and looked out over the snowy mountains in the distance, which were as snowy white as Bella.
"I'm curious, what's on your mind right now?" Adri asked, walking up to me and looking out with me.
"I was thinking about what my father had been through here, all that glory, and how he did it, and finally left it to me while he was looked down upon." I was a little sad.
In fact, he could have chosen a more powerful group, in that case, he would not have died.
"Kasha, I..." Adri tried to say something to me, but in the end it didn't come out.
"I want to know, now do you still think it's a shame for you to be mates with me because I'm the daughter of Kanas?"
I didn't look at Adri, afraid that the answer I would get would still be no.
"Kasha, I would have turned you down before just because I..." Adri tried to explain, but Senge hurried over and interrupted us.
"Kasha, you should really go see it. Mr. Mede's house has a bunch of people who want to propose to you, it's like crazy." Senge said while holding the wall to catch his breath.
"Adri, you still wouldn't choose me, would you?" I asked sadly.
Adri didn't answer, and I smiled bitterly.
What exactly was I expecting?
But as I got further and further away from him, the sadness in my heart was like a tsunami coming in and swallowing me up. When I appeared in the living room of Villa Med, I saw a large group of young men, and all eyes were focused on me.
"Oh my God, she's even more beautiful than I thought she would be."
"I promise God, she's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, and I'm going to marry her."
The group of men looked like they were crazy, and Senge was right.
"I'm sorry, I'm not an adult yet, so I'm not going to choose a mate." I said to them, and this was my innermost thought at this time. "Kasha, you don't have to rush to choose, I will wait for you with absolute patience."
A tall man, not bad looking, came out of the crowd and smiled at me.
"Whatever you want, I'll give it to you as much as I can." Another man also came up to me and said.
"Sorry, I want to take a break." I replied.
Narcan came over with the maid and led me towards the room.
In my room, I sat at my dresser and took out the necklace my father had given me.
So much happened today that I couldn't digest it for a while, which caused me to lose sleep all night.
In the morning, I just got up, the maid who came in told me that Carlton had led the army to initiate an attack on the rouges stronghold.
The order given to him by Mede was an enveloping attack to kill all the rouge.
Adri and Senge also followed Carlton.
I took my clothes with me and prepared to rejoin Adri, and this war, too, had my share.
In the capacity of the daughter of Kanas and Tina.
"Miss Kasha, the battle with the rouge is no joke, you can't get hurt in any way, so you can't go." Narcan stopped me before I went out the door. "But I have to go." I replied with determination.
"Let her go, as the daughter of Kanas, she will return safely." Mede said as she walked over.
After getting permission from Mede, and Narcan not stopping it, I thanked Mede and ran out of the villa.
In a secluded corner, I transformed into a wolf, held my backpack in my mouth, and chased after Carlton in the direction he was going.
When I saw the smoke and flames, I could hear the hissing coming from afar and smell the blood in the air.
Looking for a place to hide my backpack, I picked up the pace and ran.
Adri and Senge have transformed into wolves, and Carlton and the other wolves are also involved in the battle.
Although the wolves led by Carlton are very tough, the tactic of the rouge is that several wolves attack one of Carlton's men at the same time, and only the slightly weaker ones in combat are left to one wolf to deal with. Around them, in addition to rouge's body, were Carlton's men.
