Alpha Xander

Lena's

POV.

A deep sigh of relief escaped my lips as I was taken back to the pack in chains, I was glad they didn't find out because I was sure they will kill me but then, I can't believe the man I just saved was Xander.

Hutton mentioned Xander as the son of Xavier the man Lillian asked me to kill, I did a big mistake of saving him, but I can't tell why I am so happy he wasn't caught by them all, the Blue moon Pack is among the ones who set the trap for him and with the weapons, I saw them holding, it was clear that Xander won't have survived it.

If that man in the trap is Xavier's son then, he must be different from his father, he doesn't look evil!

They would have succeeded in capturing him if I hadn't saved him...the man I saw in the cage doesn't seem bad, If he is the way they all said he was, then why didn't he killed me even after saving him, and...he also closed my wound, That means he cares for me.

Just then, a hot slap landed on my left cheek, making me cringe back to reality as I had been lost in thought.

"How dare you smile???" The guard who slapped me growled, leaving me surprised, I couldn't believe I had smiles at the thought of Xander caring for me.

Oh, gosh!...his face won't even leave my head and I won't stop loving everything about him, I can still feel the warmth from his arms when he held me, his strong arms was so sweet that I never wanted him to drop me.

Another slap landed on the same cheek that I couldn't hold my scream as the pain swept through me in a rush, it was like my cheek was burning in fire.

"I asked you a question!" He huffed with hatred in his eyes.

"I'm smiling because I didn't die after sleeping in the forest, I've heard of vampires and villains hunting on strayed Werewolf" I lied, but he could only roll his eyes without saying any other word.

"Because of you, we are walking back on foot, why can't the alpha just kill you or order us to do it!" The other guard at my other side hissed, gritting his teeth.

I chuckled to myself as I recalled the order of the Alpha to have me walk back to the pack even when it is a very long journey just to be certain I got no weakness in me, he wants to be sure I hadn't lost my Werewolf powers even when it is clear. I don't know how possible it was that I didn't lose my Werewolf powers,

After a long journey of silence, we finally got to the pack where I thought I had escaped from, the terror of returning to the slave territory made tears form in my eyes, they can punish me every way but shouldn't send me back there.

My mind flashed to Linda and I felt more sadness, all her sacrifices is useless, I'm back to the same pack she wants me to run away from.

The guards took me into the Royal hall, and I was faced by the Alpha king and other Alphas and Beta, all having a scary look, they stared at me with disgust.

"Lena, how did I get my powers back?" I heard my wolf ask, but it wasn't time to talk to her, the stares of the Alphas weren't funny, and I knew something worse is going to happen.

"You tried to escape from this pack?" The Alpha king, Hutton's father, spoke out after a minute of silence since I was brought in.

"I... I...." My voice failed me, I couldn't think of what to say at that moment, I was determined not to mention Linda's name, I have put her into many troubles earlier.

"Who gave you the map you used in finding your way out?" He asked, standing up from his throne, causing me to drag back in fear.

"Linda helped you, right?" He let out a short chuckle filled with hatred.

"No, she...." I was about declining when she was dragged in...

Linda was pulled with a chain into the hall, her body bloody, she saw me and cried out the more.

"Lena..." She called out my name weakly with pains in her tone.

There was pure emotion in those eyes, but then I could see how disappointed she is to see me back here.

"Why are you doing all that to her????" I screamed and tried reaching out to her but regretted it as a heavy rod slammed my back, I fell to the ground heavily. "Anyone who associates with a demon is equally a demon, she confessed of being the one who helped you to leave after much t*****e" an Alpha chipped in. "Do you want her to live?" The Alpha king asked me with a smirk.

"Yes, please don't kill her,, do anything you want to me but let her be, she is innocent!" I cried out so loud, pleading with hot tears.

"I'll let her live on one condition!" He said and stepped down from the short step, he moved around me slowly.

"Please tell me the condition, I will do it" my voice shrilled as the grunt of Lillian filled my ear.

"Good girl, if you want her to live, Kill yourself!" He ordered, and my jaw dropped...

Cold shrill ran up and down my spine, I was shocked to the core.

"You mean.... I.... I...should...kill. My...self??" I stuttered with my voice shaking in fear.

"You heard me right, I give you 10 seconds to pick your choice, dig out your heart and eat it, if you don't, I'll kill her myself!" The Alpha king growled, moving back to his seat, as I stared at the space in great horror.

I glanced at Linda, and she kept shaking her head as her mouth has been gagged already, she kept muffling and waging her head, I knew she won't want me to kill myself, I also don't want to die especially now that I had met someone I crushed on, I want to avoid dying, but I don't think I have a choice. There was no way I'll allow another person to die because of me, I won't be able to live knowing that my life caused the death of Lillian and Linda who tried saving me,

"What about the mission Lillian gave me, she said I should kill Xander, how will I do that after dying?..remember she lost her life just because she wants to save me" I muffled with hot tears rolling down my eyes,

My words made everyone burst into a loud laugh of mockery.

"You are nothing, a weak Werewolf, how can you mention killing Xavier when Xander broke the trap and left while you lay like a corpse right close by, I could have killed you myself, but I had to keep the promise I made to my Luna, so then, you will have to kill yourself, I don't want to see you ever again!!!...you have something connected to Xander, that's why you were there at the same time he escaped!!!" He howled.

"That must be true!" The others chorused.

"She is strange and must have secret and evil plans, she must have also used her magic on Linda that made her betray her pack just to save her;" the Beta of the pack growled.

"Now kill yourself or watch her die, you monster!, I know you are evil and won't mind seeing her being killed just to keep yours!" The Gamma's Luna added with a deadly glare.

"I...will kill myself then, let her live!" I breathed feeling deeply sad, I can't live as a monster, my life is useless, and I have no family, my death means nothing but hers is more important to her families.

I knelt down and brought out the dagger which Lillian had given me, it was the same I used to gash my palm to save Xander....

Furthermore, I raised it up to stab my chest but paused as a messenger rushed in and bowed to the Alpha.

"What is it?"

"Many vultures came from the Red moon pack came and dropped different part of a lady's body in front of the Royal house, they also dropped a letter" the messenger announced.

"A lady's body?" The voice of Xavier chipped in as he stepped into the hall that moment.

"Yes, and this is the letter, it's for you" the messenger added handing a small scroll to him.

He took it and rolled out.

"What." He screamed with the letter falling off his hand.

"My girlfriend." He shrilled and ran outside.

Hutton's POV.

As I head out, I prayed it should be all lies or a big prank but just as I stepped outside, it dawned on me,

Right outside, my girlfriend's Scarlett body was scattered around, her head was cut off, her hands, her legs...all chopped off.

Xander killed her and sent it to me,

"that's just to let you know I'm still fully alive and would keep taking away your happiness, that would make me feel superior.... I guess she might be your mate so I killed her" I read the letter.

I was so angry and pained, my father and others rushed out and stared at her dead body.

"He killed her because he thought she is my mate!" I sobbed.

"Oh, this is so cruel!!!!" Lena cried out, and I turned at her with a glare.

"I'll announced you as my mate tomorrow in school" I growled with a loathing look, leaving her shocked and fretted.

I can't wait to see Xander tear her apart too.
