Chapter Chapter Two

[Kin’s POV]

I was running another drill with my Pack when Julius decided to go insane. He literally just started screaming in my head.

'Mate....Mate hurt.... Move your ASS ....’ he yelled at me as he took over and pushed us into another Pack’s territory. Not a smart idea.

‘Hey, slow down Jules! Pay attention or we won’t be able to help our Mate.’ I thought in panic.

Julius had never done this so I wanted to let him guide me to where our Mate was but we needed to show caution in another Pack’s territory. We could sense our Mate but their scent had been blocked off by something and it was pissing us off as we ran through the forest. The feeling was so faint that I knew something was more than wrong. I was quickly trying to figure out a solution to a problem I could not see.

We could feel our Packmates behind us, racing behind us to try and keep us safe. They had been charged with our safety and our parents would be more than furious if we had gotten hurt because they lost us.

Julius took us to a massive complex with lights flickering brightly. He stopped and growled lowly. He was more than pissed off and to be honest so was I.

‘Ironclaw. These beasts don’t understand civility. I can feel our Mate inside and they are very hurt. Go get them Kin.’ Julius demanded as he let me take control again. I felt him 'sit' down, still watching everything closely.

Thanks Jules.′ I said sarcastically as I rolled my eyes and looked back to my Packmates. ‘We need to be civil. My Mate is here and I want to get them and leave.’ I thought seriously, getting them all to look at me in complete shock. I have been without my Mate for 10years and for me to claim I could sense them was huge to those in my Pack.

‘Yes Alpha.’ They chimed dripping their heads. I could see they were trying to hide their own shock but I also knew they would never question me.

I sighed and shifted into my Human form before going to the Ironclaw Packhouse. I had a bad feeling about this. I don't think this was going to go smooth at all.

[Ra'ne's POV]

I was hanging in the basement by my hands. Thankfully I had gotten to skip school and the beatings there, but the Alpha had whipped me all day after chaining me to the ceiling that morning. At the moment I was trying to keep my blood from dripping into my eyes and stinging into my cuts.

The pain in my hands had been dulled from the hours of hanging here. I was close to passing out from the loss of blood, but I knew better. The cameras on the wall kept a close eye on me. If I dared to pass out or fall asleep, I would be tased again from the electrical wiring attached to my chest and legs. Making sure I stayed awake during the 'punishment' I had brought on myself by being seen.

I wanted this to end but only my hateful Alpha could end this suffering he had put me in. I would be chained here for days if he felt it necessary for me to learn to never be seen. To learn my proper place at the mercy of everyone in the Pack. In Ironclaw, Omegas held no worth and no rights.

Omegas are to never be seen. Never seen or heard unless for beatings or pleasure.

That was the Ironclaw way.

I was deep in thought when the basement door opened and light flooded in blinding me. I knew this was going to be my last look at the sun because I was breathing my last few breaths. Whoever was in the doorway, they smelled heavenly to me and I wanted to pick my head up to see them but I had lost any strength I had left.
