“Here is where the warehouse is," I told them pointing it out.

“Does anyone have any questions?” Mac asked.

“Who will be leading this mission?” Another warrior asked.

“Jack will be in charge of this. He has expertise in this kind of stuff” I said.

“Thank you, sir. I am happy to do so"

“Anything else?” I asked.

No one said anything so I dismissed them all but Roscoe and Emma.

“ just wanted you aware of our plans. I don't expect you to go tonight” I told both of them.

“sir I would like to go. That is why I was sent here and so it is my duty to go” Emma said.

“No, you will not put yourself in danger” Roscoe hissed at her.

“You are not my boss and you will not tell me where to go” She yelled back at him and moved out of his lap.

“Fine, then I am going with you."

They both headed out the door arguing. I turned back to Mac and Aubree who both had big smiles on their faces about the two that just left.

“I think the Vampire King has met his match. She is one tuff cookie I don't want to mess with,” Mac said.

“Nope me either,” I said agreeing with him.

“You guys can go also if you want," I told them.

Mac got up and grabbed Aubree’s hand and they left my office. I put everything away in my office and locked the door and left as well.

“Princess, where are you?" I mind-linked her.

“I am holding my niece in her parent's room.” She linked back.

I headed for their room as quickly as I could. As soon as I arrived at their door I knocked and soon Liam came and opened it up. The girls were sitting on the couch talking and the sight of Alexa holding a brand new pup and looking happy as could be just made me that much more excited to have one of our own.

“Hey, Princess you look pretty good holding that pup” I told her.

“I look good doing anything.”

“You're right you do but I really like you with a pup in your arms."

Her and Sloane just laughed at me and my cheesy lines.

“Princess, would you like to go to dinner with me?” I asked her.

“I would love to if you're buying tacos."

“I will buy you whatever you want."

I went and sat on the couch opposite them, and visited with Liam, and filled him in on everything that was going on. “Princess would you like me to get dinner and bring it back here for everyone and we can continue to visit with our friends.” mind-linked her.

“Yes please, but can you also invite Mac and Aubree if they are ok with it” She linked back.

“Will you two please stop sex-linking in front of us,” Sloane said and then busted up laughing.

“What in the hell is sex linking?" I asked a little confused.

“Dude it's like phone sex only over mind link,” Liam said laughing.

“You two are pervs. We don't do that" I told them.

“Don’t knock it until you try it,” Sloane said.

“How about I go get tacos for everyone and bring them back here so these girls can continue to visit," I asked them.

“Yes, please! Alexis wants tacos.” Sloane said.

“Do you mind if I invite Mac and Aubree as well?" I asked them.

“Yes, I haven't gotten to really see Aubree,” Sloane said.

“Liam I have to go and see everyone off for the mission tonight, want to join me and then we can go get tacos.”

“Yes, I could leave the room for a while”

We got up and gave our girls a kiss and walked downstairs to where everyone was getting ready to leave. Loved ones were telling each other goodbye and hugging.

“Excuse me, everyone. I just want to say thank you to everyone going on this mission and to be safe. We will see you all tomorrow.” I yelled out.

Mac came and stood by us while I was thanking everyone for going on this mission. I could also see Emma and Roscoe loading into an SUV. Roscoe didn't look too happy but I understand where he was coming from. I would do anything to protect Alexa but I also know that she is a strong capable woman.

“Hey Mac, we're going to get tacos and have dinner up with Sloan and Alexa, want to come to?” I asked him.

“Yes, can I take Aubree up to your room? She doesn't like to be alone for very long?

“Of course man. Sloane was saying she hadn't seen her in a while so she would love that plus it gives them time to get the baby loves in before the food gets there” Liam answered him.

“Perfect, let me go get her and walk her up to your room” He said taking off.

“Come on, let's go get a car and wait for him," told Liam as I headed to the garage.

An hour later we were headed up the stairs with enough tacos to feed an army and plenty of drinks. We got to Liam's door and he unlocked it and walked in. We placed everything on the counter and I don't think the girls even heard us come in. Aubree was sitting on the couch holding Alexis now.

“Mac looks like you could be joining the daddy club soon," I told him.

“I can't wait. I wish she would let me get her pregnant now.”

“Not happening yet Mac," Aubree yelled out.

We all laughed and walked over to the couches. Liam grabbed Alexis and went and laid her down in her bed. We got up and got plates and brought everything over so we could all enjoy dinner and each other's company.

“Princess, it's midnight. We should get to our room and go to bed," I told her, as she was yawning.

“OK party pooper”

I got up and grabbed her hand and we told everyone goodbye and headed to our room. She stopped me at our door before I could unlock it.

“Thank you for tonight. It was very much needed. It's been a long time since we have been able to do that" She said.
