Alexa’s POV

I stepped into the shower with my emotions running high. I could feel how sorry Colter was, and I wanted to forgive him and let him back in, but I just wasn't ready.

“Lex, be strong. Make him lear a lesson from this. We are strong and won't allow him to treat us this way. If he ever does it again, you leave him on his ass” Jade linked me.

“I agree, Lex. We should have kicked his ass when it happened.” Storm linked next.

“Girls, I know, but the mate bond makes it hard. That's part of the reason we have it. So that when mistakes are made, they can be forgiven. Also, he is our other half, and he completes us. I am partially to blame. He asked me not to, and I did it anyway.”

“Girl, it doesn't matter. He shouldn't have put his hands on us." Jade said.

I cut my link with them. I need to stop thinking about this. I had to meet with my new team, and I wasn't ready. I stepped out of the shower and dried my body, and wrapped a towel around my head. I walked out of the bathroom naked, and Colter wa sitting on the bed waiting for me to get out. His eyes instantly went black as he took in my naked body.

I could see that he swallowed and went to say something, but his mouth opened and then closed and then opened again. “You trying to catch flies with that thing?” I asked him with a cocked eyebrow.

“Um no, sorry." He said.

I pulled the towel off my head and threw it at him, and started to walk to the closet.

“What's this for?” he asked, catching the towel.

“To wipe your drool.”

His face broke out in a smile, and I went to the closet and pulled out a pair of skinny jeans and found a white lacey thong and matching bra and a black crop top. I slipped my clothes on and found my tennis shoes and sock and got those on. I wen back out, and Colter was in the shower now. I walked in and grabbed my hairbrush and ran it through my hair, and then brushed my teeth.

By the time I was completely ready, Colter had gotten out of the shower and was about dressed as well. I went and sat on th bed and waited for him. His pine scent was always so strong after a shower. He walked over to me and held out his hand to me. I looked him up and down before reaching out and taking his hand. My hand erupted with tingles. The mate bond in full force and making it hard for me to stay mad.

“Princess you ready to meet this team?”

“Yes!” That was all I had for him.

We walked downstairs hand in hand, and when we got down there, people were running around everywhere. I am guessing i has to do with the new arrivals. We walked to the conference room where we were meeting them and when I opened the door they were already in there waiting for us.

Julian stood up and came over to us.

“These guys don't say a whole lot. Well, they haven't yet, but they just got here also” julian said.

I walked up to the head of the table and introduced us to them.

“Welcome and thank you guys for coming. I am Alpha Alexa; this is my mate Alpha Colter, and we are currently at Alpha Julian's pack. I would like you to each introduce yourselves and please tell me what your expertise is in"

“I am Jack, and I am the lead warrior at the Elite academy.”

“lam Joe, and I am a top warrior at the Elite academy.”

“I Phillip and I am also a top warrior at the Elite academy, and I am also an expert in weapons.”

“Iam Emma, and I am an expert in computers and technology and also am a top female warrior”

“Emma, I do believe that you and I will be working closely together to begin with as we have technology that needs looked at” I'told her.

“am happy to get started on it whenever you would like” She said back.

“Actually, right now would be great. If you want to come with me and the rest of you, can talk with Alpha Colter and continue to introduce yourself to him." I announced to them.

Emma got up and followed me out of the room. We walked out of the room and headed for the room that was set up with al of the computer stuff we had. I opened the door for Emma, and I walked in behind her and closed the door.

“Emma, where you filled in on everything that is going on?” I asked her.

“We were briefed but I would prefer if you told me what is going on. It's always best to get directly from the source.”

This girl was beautiful. She had long blonde like almost white hair and these bright green eyes that even I could get get lost in. I've never been into girls, but I could be in to her. I shook my head to clear my thoughts and began telling her everything that had happened. By the time I was done, she had a horrified look on her face.

“Iam so sorry that this happened to you, Alpha Alexa, but I am honored to be here helping you. Now let's get started on this compter.” She said.

I opened the laptop and she began working and her fingers were flying over the keyboard. I've never seen anyone type that fast. After about ten minutes of work, she slammed her hands down on the table.

“Is everything ok? I asked her.

“No, they have some impossible security on here. Don’t worry, though, I will get around it. I need to go get some of my equipment.” She said as she stood up and walked out of the room. I got up and followed behind her.

We walked back to the conference room, and everyone was sitting there chatting. Emma walked over and got a giant bag on wheels, and headed back out.

“Emma, I will be right there. Go ahead and get started.” I told her, and she just nodded at me and walked out of the room. “OK, boys, I think the first thing we need to do is figure out what all is on the computer and if we can narrow down what all i going on and where Robert is.”

“I agree. I was just filling them in on everything that has been going on, so they are completely up to speed” Colter said as h came to my side and kissed my head.

“Julian, have you heard anything from the trackers that you sent out?” asked him.

“No, they are supposed to be back tonight or at least call and check in” He answered me.

“OK, I am going to go back and see how Emma is coming along” I turned and left the room while the boys continued to talk. I walked back down the hall, and when I got to the room where Emma was working, I could hear her getting frustrated. I opened the door and closed it behind me and walked over to my chair, and sat down.

“How's it going?" I asked her.

“Well, it's not. Someone real smart set this shit up. Don’t worry, I am smarter; it's just going to take me a few minutes.” She said, not even looking up. Her fingers flew across the keyboard, doing who knows what.

I sat there watching her for a while when she finally pushed her chair back and looked up at me and smiled.

“See, I told you I am smarter.” She said.

“That's great, but I don’t know what you're talking about.”

“I installed a program that will let us know when someone logs into the program that they are using for whatever they are doing, and once they do, we will be in”

“That's great! Take a look at what else we found and tell me what your thoughts are.” I told her as I pointed out what I wanted her to look into.

She started to go through different things on the computer and read through things. I just sat there watching her.

“You need to get your mate and Alpha Julian in here now.” She said, looking up at me.

“Colter, you need to come here and bring Julian with you I mind linked him.

“We will be right there” He linked back.

I just sat there looking at her, waiting for her to say something, but she just kept quiet. It only took them about three minutes to get there.

“What did you girls find?” Colter asked as him and Julian came in.

“I am not sure Emma has been waiting for you guys to get here before saying anything” I said.

We all turned to her, and she pulled something up on the computer and clicked around for a minute.

“OK, this was something that was locked by them, but I got it open, and you can see there are dates, and besides the dates, there are coordinates. I think these are drop-off locations or pickup locations just from what you guys have said, but if you look here, this is a future date. I think something might go down here. I also think we are dealing with more than one Alpha and possibly multiple packs or people”

“Holy shit this is amazing. Good work, Emma.” I said.

She turned and gave us a beaming smile. It was like a toothpaste commercial it was so perfect.

“Emma, can you get this all printed off, and maybe we can figure out a pattern, or look for missing people in those areas” Colter said.

“Yes, it will take a while to get these printed, but I will get started” She said as she got to work setting up a printer.

“Julian, we are going to need maps so we can start pinning these places on the map” Colter said, looking to him.

“I have Luca pulling them already” julian said.

“Good, this date here is in two days, so we don't have a lot of time to figure this out” I said.

“I will have the kitchen bring up dinner where going to be here all night” julian said.

“We also need a list of missing people and see if we can pinpoint where they are taking them and how far they are moving them too before they sell them,” I said.

“Good idea.” Colter said.

“Alright, let's go tell everyone what we have found and get things set up. It's going to be a long night." I said.

Iturned to leave, but Colter grabbed my hand and pulled me to him. The other two left the room and let us have a private moment.

“Princess, you ok?” He asked me.

“I am fine. I just want to put a stop to all of this and kill Robert” I mumbled into his chest.

“You will princess, you are stronger and smarter than him." He said as he leaned down and kissed me.

I melted into him as much as I still wanted to be mad. We had bigger issues, and I needed his help. We just stood there kissing for a few minutes, and when I finally pulled back, he rested his head against my forehead while we caught our breath “Princess, I love you. We love you. Grey and I love you and Jade and Storm so much!” He said in a breathy wispher.

Did he really just say that? My heart was beating so fast I thought I might take flight. Both Jade and Storm were prancing around in my head as happy as can be.

“Tell him back” Jade yelled out.

“Now!” Storm piped in.

“Colter, we love you too, and we love Grey too.”

He slammed his lips down to mine and pulled me up so that my legs wrapped around his waist and we kept kissing eaching. We were so wrapped up in each other that we didn't hear someone come into the room with us, but them clearing their throat broke us out of our trance. I pulled my head away and found Luca and Emma staring at us.

“Sorry you guys, you're just needed in the other room, and Emma needs to keep printing” Luca said.

“Come on, princess.”
