1 glared at him. hands on my hips. “Do you think I’m a pig?”

Nicolas laughed, pulling me into his arms.

“Silly, how could I bear to?”

In that moment, Nicolas held the baby and sobbed uncontrollably.

“Ella were still alive, we would have had a child by now. We should have had a happy family…”

I sighed as I watched him, feeling a sense of release.

I knew it was time to let go.

Suddenly. Nicolas seemed to sense my presence and reached out a hand, his voice trembling.

Ella, don’t go!”

I gave him a faint smile as my soul began to drift away.

Nicolas. I’ll lead the way to the afterlife.
