When Michael heard her words, his mind instantly flashed back to the resignation letter she had sent to Paramount Airlines.
He always thought that after Chloe lost her job at Paramount Airlines, her new gig couldn't be that great either.
Otherwise, she wouldn't be rushing to work overtime at 4 PM.
Michael thought for a moment and then said, "If you want to get back to Paramount Airlines, just write an apology letter and admit your mistake to the higher-ups. That way, you can return to your old job." Chloe stood there, stunned. Did she really hear that right?
She quit her job at Paramount Airlines on her own terms. What made him think she'd write an apology and go back?
Isn't this guy just too full of himself?
"Don't be so stubborn. There aren't many companies better than Paramount Airlines right now."
Chloe heard that and couldn't help but laugh out of sheer exasperation.

Michael frowned at her sarcastic remark.
He's already tried to make peace. Why is she still mad?
"You quit on a whim before. Now that I got you your job back, what's there to complain about?"
Chloe swung the door open. "Michael, you'll never learn respect. I don't need you to survive. Even without you, I'll make it on my own. I don't need your charity."
They said she got into Paramount Airlines through connections, but she actually got in with top scores.
She's got talent; she's not just some flight attendant for Paramount Airlines.
If it weren't for him, she wouldn't have wasted so much time and effort on that job.
It took her three years to realize she needed to stick to what she was good at. No matter how much she sacrificed herself, she'd never earn others' respect in the end. As the door clicked shut, Chloe vanished from the living room.
Michael yanked at his tie, frustration boiling over. He needed to breathe.

Quinn realized she misunderstood, so he clarified, "I just didn't have time to finish the next project."
He couldn't meet the client today.
"Let's go, the client's inside."
Chloe pushed aside all other thoughts. For the next hour, she focused entirely on the collaboration.
Luckily, once they found out she was Jioleek, their attitude. improved a lot. They even agreed to transfer the deal from Quinn to her.
After sealing the deal, Quinn and Chloe stepped out of the private room together.
"Sorry, I was too hasty today."
Quinn knew calling Chloe over on short notice might mess with her work.

Chloe waved it off. "No biggie," she said.
She was dreading the thought of facing Michael at home.
Chloe glanced at her phone. Time to grab a meal with Quinn- her way of saying thanks for the business hookup.
Quinn's face darkened when he saw her phone. "You got a new phone?"
This phone wasn't the one she usually used.
Just the mention of it made, Chloe a bit angry.
"This is the backup unit."
Luckily, she found her phone while rummaging through her suitcase yesterday. Otherwise, she wouldn't have caught Quinn's call today. Well, she definitely missed out on this deal.
