Chapter Divorcing 471
Chapter 471 Meeting
The person on the other side saw her and immediately greeted her. "Chloe, what a coincidence!"
Chloe looked at Asher and James in front of her and thought it was really a coincidence.
They met again just after they had parted ways.
After the two of them, Gavin also came over.
His eyes lit up when he saw William, "William? Oh my, what a coincidence. We were planning to go to your restaurant for dinner today." Gavin liked smoked salmon very much. William had hosted him before, and he was considered William's top VIP customer.
Asher suggested, "Since we all know each other, why don't we just eat together?"
As a friend of Michael, Asher was naturally a little wary when he saw Chloe with another man.
He didn't want Chloe to have dinner alone with another man.
So he suggested eating together.
William was indifferent, looking at Chloe, and asked, "What do you think, Ms. Nelson?"
The question was thrown to her, and under the scrutiny of the group, she agreed.
They moved to a private room upstairs.
After sitting down, Asher said, "I'm going to the bathroom and will be back soon!"
As soon as Asher went out, he immediately called Michael, "Your ex-wife is having dinner with another man. Are you coming or not?" Michael had just got off the plane. When he heard this, he remembered William's conversation with Chloe in Urban Lane this morning. He said, "Address."
Asher responded, "Terrace. It shouldn't be far from Paramount Airlines. You'd better hurry."
After hanging up the phone, Asher walked out. When he looked up, he bumped into someone who was going upstairs.
He apologized, "Sorry, I didn't notice..."
He looked up at the person standing in front of him and was slightly stunned.
He thought, "Is it a special day today? Why can I meet so many familiar people while having dinner in this restaurant?"
Wesley looked at Asher and nodded calmly, "It's okay."
Just then, Candy came up from downstairs hastily, stunned to see Asher.
Meanwhile, Michael had just left the Paramount Airlines building. Before dwalk out of the door
he
saw Lucy standing at the
he
Moor.
Michael was a little surprised to see her again after so long.
But assuming she wasn't there for him, he turned to leave.
Lucy called out, "Michael, wait a minute."
Lucy felt hurt as he ignored her.
Michael frowned and looked at her impatiently, "I have something else to do."
Lucy nodded hastily, "I know. I have something to tell you. I won't keep you too long."
Michael said, "Sorry, I don't have time."
He was too busy searching for his wife to spare a single minute.
Lucy's eyes brimmed with disappointment. "Where are you going? I can go with you. We can talk when you are free."
Faced with her unreasonable demands, Michael had lost all his patience. He just said "Whatever" and got into the car at the door. Lucy hastily stopped a taxi, "Follow him."
The driver said, "Hey girl, that's a Rolls-Royce. How can I chase it?"
Lucy handed the driver a big tip and urged, "Chase as fast as you can!"
Meanwhile, in the private room, the dishes had almost been served.
When the door opened again, Chloe's face fell upon seeing Michael enter.
She thought, "Why is he everywhere?"
But except for her and James, the others all looked surprised, "Mr. Shawn, why are you here?"
Michael's gaze swept over William and Chloe before softly replied, "Come here for dinner. I heard that
Mr. Jenkins and Gavin were here, so
I came over to say hello."
After that, the waiter brought in several bottles of famous white wine.
Michael continued, "This restaurant's white wine is very famous. Put all of today's consumption on my tab."
William and James looked at him and felt speechless.
James spoke directly, "Pretentious."
Gavin had a good relationship with Michael, and the Opal Group also had some connection with the Shawn family. And Bright Moon International had a cooperative relationship with Paramount Airlines.
Now that Michael came in, there was no way he could leave.
