Chapter Divorcing 470
Chapter 470 Appointment
Vicky approached Chloe with her arms crossed, her eyes still brimming with disdain.
Chloe was uninterested in arguing with her. She packed up her things and was ready to leave.
Vicky sneered, "Wait! What are you swaggering about? If you're so capable, dare you compete with me?"
Chloe looked at her in surprise, "Competing what?"
She was most interested in competitions.
Vicky replied, "You're great at programming, right? Then let's compete in programming!"
The reason why Vicky was so confident was because she had been studying this at home for the past few days.
She even learned many cases of Jioleek, the most amazing hacker today.
Her hacker friend had taught her many times, and finally, she learned Jioleek's one case.
She didn't believe Chloe could surpass Jioleek.
Chloe's eyebrows rose slightly at the challenge, "Do you really want to compete with me in programming?"
She thought, "You're over-confident. How dare you?"
Vicky, however, looked very serious and nodded vigorously, saying, "Yes, let's compete in programming."
Just then, James came out of the office and saw Vicky.
He asked, frowning, "Vicky, what are you doing here again?"
Vicky said grievously, "I just want to compete with Chloe. I didn't cause any trouble for her. Can't I even do that?"
James glanced at Chloe, ensuring she wasn't being bullied, before asking, "What's the point of competing with her? She's just good at programming. If I win, doesn't that mean she's no longer needed at the company?"
James was stunned when he heard this. He thought, "Is she crazy? Doesn't she know who Chloe is?"
Chloe smiled, "How about this? The loser leaves Bright Moon International."
The onlookers were stunned by the bold wager.
Vicky didn't expect Chloe to say that.
Backing down now would be humiliating.
So she said, "Okay, let's compete, and whoever loses gets to leave!"
Chloe smiled as she prepared to sit. down, but James beside her

Vicky looked at James, who had lost his temper, feeling angry and aggrieved. "Why do you protect her like this? Are you afraid that she will leave the company?"
James was in a dilemma. He thought, "How can I make Vicky understand that if the competition continued, she will be kicked out?
Although I don't like her. She is Asher's sister after all.
I can't drive her away.
Otherwise, Asher will come to make trouble with me."
Chloe watched the exchange, feeling irritable.
Her phone vibrated, and she saw William asking her if she was off work.
Only then did she remember that she had an appointment with William today.
Chloe asked, "Do you want to compete or not? If not, I'll leave first. I have an appointment."
James blurted out, "With whom?"
Vicky grew even more jealous and said, "Why do you care who she dates!"
Seeing this, Chloe decided to leave this place of trouble immediately.
Downstairs, Chloe was a little surprised to see William, "Mr. Clark, why are you here?"
She thought, "In fact, he can just wait for me in Urban Lane. There's no need for him to come here."
William explained, "It's lunch time
now, so come over and have a

meal with you, just as a thank you for explaining the community facilities to me later."
William smiled politely without causing Chloe any discomfort.
He asked, "What to eat?"
Chloe wanted to eat smoked salmon. But she remembered that William was a senior chef, so she let him choose instead. She said, "You decide. I'm fine with anything."
William decided to eat steak. The restaurant was not far from Urban Lane and convenient for them to go back after eating. The two entered the restaurant, and William asked, "I didn't book a private room. Do you mind?"
Chloe shook her head, "Of course not. A private room would be a bit of a waste for us two."
The private rooms in this restaurant were mostly tables for ten people, which was unnecessary for them.
Before they could order food, Chloe saw some acquaintances walking in.
