Chapter 333 Go Home

Asher blinked, then suddenly realized what was happening.

He thought to himself. "Michael's been able to hold off for so long without seeking Chloe. Quite the patient ona

Asher conceded, mixing his hand to undo his seatbelt, exiting the car, "Alright, alright. You've got a wife, you're something else. Just ditch me halfway, forgetting your friends once you've got a wife. After all these years of friendship, I've clearly..."

A wave of exhaust fumes hit his nostrils.

He didn't even get the chance to say those last words, "been mistaken."

Glaring at the taillights, he raised his fist in frustration, only lowering it sheepishly when Michael turned the corner,

In the next moment, a black Maybach smoothly pulled up in front of him.

The window rolled down, revealing James' face.

Meanwhile, Michael had Ethan track the current location of Chloe's car and slammed on the brakes, stopping right where she and Quinn were.

As he stood at the restaurant entrance, his teeth were already grinding

The restaurant was known for being a place for couples, a place Michael had never been to before.

He huffed in annoyance, not expecting Chloe to be so classy, bringing a man to dine at such a place.

The restaurant's waiter stood at the entrance, smiling as he asked, "Sir, are you here for dining?"

Michael took a deep breath and thought to himself, "Dine? My foot!"

Chloe, along with Quinn and Candy, arrived at the restaurant entrance, where they were greeted by a bunch of fresh reses, which was likely changed daily. "This is quite romantic, Candy muttered.

She turned to Jessica, saying, "If it weren't for you insisting on coming. I wouldn't want to be here."

Dining there cost nearly 10 thousand bucks.

Jessica stack out her tongue. "I saw it online. Don't be mad, I'll bring you a small gift next time!"

The four of them ordered what seemed like a decent set meal. The restaurant's service was also top-notch.

П

As Chloe was halfway through her meal, she noticed a waiter approaching with several bouquets of roses, arranged to form different words that said, "Honey, go home!"

She mudged Candy playfully. "Who's trying to catch someone cheating? Quite considerate, saving the other party from embarrassment."

The flowers were then placed in front of their table, leaving them all speechless.

Chloe's hand cutting her steak paused.

She looked up and asked. "Excuse me, was this delivered to the wrong table?"

"Are you Ms. Chloe Nelson? If so... it's not a mistake. Your husband rent these over, insisting we bring them to you. Enjoy your meal!"

Even though it wasn't the weekend, it was mealtime, and the restaurant was quite crowded.

Those big words in

in front of her now made Chloe the center of attention, making her wish she could crawl under the table.

She thought, "Damn, Michael!

He really comes here?"

Candy, enjoying the drama, took out her phone and snapped a few pictures.

"I must say, the flower selection skills of evildoer are pretty good. These flowers look high-quality!"

Chloe shot her a glare. "If you've got nothing nice to say, better keep quiet!"

Jessica at beside Quinn, her eyes darting around curiously.

At this table, Quinn was probably the only one who could empathize even slightly with Chloe's situation.

He stood up and said, "I'll go ask the waiter to take them away."

Chloe hesitated for a moment, then quickly interjected, "No, forget it!"

She thought to herself, "Our table is already the center of attention. If he goes looking for the waitstaff, it would be bad if someone got a picture and. posted it online.

It would be better to just act like I don't see it and keep eating.

It's just a few flowers, no big deal."

But it was clear that the four of them had underestimated Michael's capabilities.

Not only did he have these flowers delivered, but every three minutes, he had the waitstaff bring in another large bouquet, all of which had to be handed directly to Chloe. Before they knew it, their table was practically a garden.

It was surrounded by all sorts of flower arrangements, and newcomers to the restaurant thought they'd stumbled upon a new hotspot for photos.

Chloe held her forehead with one hand, and the other covered her face, feeling utterly mortified.

Yet, Michael showed no signs of stopping.

He kept having the waitstaff bring more flowers.

"I'm sorry, but these flowers are from the restaurant's new owner, so there's nothing we can do!" She was taken aback.
