Chapter Divorcing 332
Chapter 332 Confess
"Lucy are you being serious?"
"But... they say a relationship starts with a bouquet of flowers and a formal ceremony!"
Owen immediately understood her implication and said, "I'll get that ready for you, Lucy. Trust me!"
He had waited so many years. Finally, the day came when Lucy agreed to him.
At that moment, Owen was so overwhelmed with joy that he barely thought about why she chose today to confess her feelings to him.
Lucy, on tiptoe, embraced him, her gaze drifting out toward the balcony, her expression clouded.
A formal occasion she wanted was just a way to let Michael see it.
Why would she pass up an opportunity to make use of such a tool?
Michael was driving Asher away from Owen's house. Inside the car, Asher couldn't contain his anger and said, "Those two are quite something. They're a perfect matchs. Michael, we were really blind before. How did we not see that they were like this?"
He thought, "I actually considered Owen a good buddy of mine.
Turns out, he's been thinking all along that Michael and I were squeezing him dry!
What a
pure, ungrateful snake!"
Michael didn't say a word and just braked sharply in the downtown shopping district.
Asher was taken aback. "Are we shopping?"
This mall was famous for its luxury goods-if one could think of it, they had it.
Asher was curious why Michael, at this moment, would be interested in shopping
But before he could react, Michael said, "Get out."
"Wait, what? I didn't do anything to upset you. Why are you kicking me out?"
Michael, with a touch of initation, replied, "I'm going to find Chloe. Do you want to tag along and be a third wheel?"
