A Second Chance With My Billionaire Love

Chapter 3752

Looking down at her, he said in a cold voice, “Always ensure you know your place.

Hester felt so ashamed.

But after a moment of silence, she offered in a softened tone, “At least, let me help you to the car.

But Leonel refused.

His leg had greatly improved in the past few days, and he could now walk on his own albeit unsteadily.

Apart from Alexis, he didn’t care what others thought about him.

Since the person he loved the most had left him, he had no one and nothing left to care about.

So, he limped out of the banquet hall in full view of the crowd.

He didn’t use his wheelchair nor was Noreen by his side.

He was all alone.

Hester stood there, feeling highly embarrassed.

But after a while, she got a call from Leonel, asking her to meet him in the parking lot.

Hester quickly rushed over.

Meanwhile, Alexis was seated in her car at the parking lot and was about to drive away.

Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Leonel and Hester coming out into the lot.

Leonel was walking unsteadily while his girlfriend held his arm to support him.

Alexis guessed that perhaps his leg was acting up again.

She watched them silently, but she felt there was no reason for her to care about him anymore.

As far as she was concerned, it was clear that Leonel didn’t want to have any relationship with her anymore.

From what she could see, he really liked his current girlfriend.

After all, Hester was a beautiful and elegant woman.

After a while, Alexis started her car without greeting or saying anything to the couple.

She felt this was how things should end between them.

But her eyes were slightly moist.

Meanwhile, Leonel had come to a halt by now.

He knew that it was all over between himself and Alexis.

He knew he had no chance anymore.

But in the future, he could take care of the children despite being crippled, and he wouldn’t need to worry about Alexis finding out the truth.

He would then be able to tell everyone that his love for her had just been a momentary impulse, which he regretted afterwards, and right now, he no longer loved her.

In fact, he would tell everyone who cared to listen that he had fallen for someone else.

Alexis drove away from the hotel, her slender fingers gripping the steering wheel.

Despite feeling calm, something blurred her eyes.
