Chapter 3750
He was with an elegant woman in her early 3@s that looked beautiful and had a nice figure.
Alexis immediately recognized her as Hester Molina, a familiar face in the television business in Duefron.
Right now, she was standing right beside Leonel, her arm entwined with his in an intimate manner.
Alexis quietly observed them for a brief moment without saying a word.
Since they were divorced, she had made up her mind to avoid speaking to him unless they absolutely had to.
She only greeted him with a nod and turned to leave, but Leonel stopped her by calling her name.
Alexis stopped in her tracks.
It took a moment before she turned around, pasted a friendly smile on her face, and asked him, “Leonel, what’s up?”
But Leonel simply stared at her in silence.
After a while, he took Hester’s hand.
Alexis looked at them calmly and in silence.
She could see that Leonel was flaunting his new relationship in her face.
“How’s it going with that guy Hank?” Leonel suddenly asked.
Alexis couldn’t help but chuckle.
“What answer do you want to hear?” she asked him.
Leonel didn’t say anything at first.
But after a moment of silence, he said with a chuckle, “Forget it.
I just want to introduce my girlfriend to you.
This is Hester.
”
He said it in such a casual manner as if nothing had happened between him and Alexis.
Hester felt a bit awkward about it all, but Leonel seemed totally unaffected.
“This is Alexis.
She’s my sister,” he said to Hester.
Since she was only hired to play Leonel’s girlfriend and now he had introduced Alexis as his sister, Hester could do nothing but treat her as his sister.
“Hello, I’m Hester Molina,” she said to Alexis while extending her hand for a shake.
“I’m Leonel’s girlfriend.
”
Alexis looked at her delicate hand but did not touch it.
Instead, she turned her attention to Leonel again.
She wanted to get an answer from his expression.
She wanted to know if he really wanted to sever the last emotional bond that still existed between them.
But Leonel only looked indifferent and didn’t seem like he gave a damn.
It was clear that he was determined to distance himself from what they once had just because of his new girlfriend.
