Upon seeing the token, Dorian's spirit instantly deflated. All he could do was glare fiercely at Jared. Then, he turned to Fraser and said, "I'll go back with you..."

Just as Dorian was about to leave with Fraser, Jared unexpectedly unsheathed his Dragonslayer Sword, blocking their path.

"You all think you can come and go as you please? As if it's that easy. You're free to leave, but you'll have to leave your life behind!"

With a swift swing of his Dragonslayer Sword, Jared set waves of sword energy in motion throughout the heavens and earth.

Fraser furrowed his brows while Dorian glared at him and warned, "Kid, you're playing with fire here."

"And I'll play with your mother too! F*ck you! Today, I—"

Before Jared could finish his sentence, Orion and Cassian were already rapidly approaching!

As Jared sensed their auras, there was a slight change in his expression.

When it came to dealing with Dorian and Fraser, Jared indeed still had some fight left in him.

However, add two more Top Level Ultimate Realm Level Nine cultivators into the mix, and Jared knew he stood absolutely no chance of winning!

"You two, get out of here!"

With a dismissive wave of his hand, Jared told Dorian and Fraser to get lost.

Dorian was seething with anger, yet he was still led away by Fraser.

Ravenna was right behind them, but Jared didn't give her a hard time. Instead, he was on guard, carefully watching Orion and Cassian.

"Mr. Chance, they were the first three to seek you out."

Bernard approached Jared, but as soon as he finished speaking, he noticed that there were only two men in brocade robes, where there were originally three. So he asked, "Weren't there three of you? Where's the big guy with the meteor hammer?"

Orion did not respond to Bernard's words. Instead, he approached Jared with utmost respect and gave a bow. "Greetings, Mr. Chance. My name is Orion Xanthos, and this is Cassian Zambrano."

His courteous demeanor took Jared by surprise.

"Weren't there three of you? Where's the other one?" Jared asked.

"He's dead!" Orion declared without any attempt to conceal the truth.

"Dead?"

Bernard and Jared were both taken aback.

"I killed Theron because he was consumed by greed. Blinded by his own interests, he was determined to murder you, Mr. Chance, to obtain a hundred thousand celestial crystals from the Tenth Hall. Left with no other choice, I had to kill him...." Oron said truthfully.

Upon hearing the reason why Orion had killed Theron, both Jared and Bernard

were completely dumbfounded.

"So, just for this reason, you killed your own blood-sworn brother?"

Jared looked at Orion, somewhat in disbelief.

"This reason was more than enough, because I knew, once he laid a hand on you, the three of us were sure to meet a tragic end. For my own sake, and for the safety of my other blood sworn brother, I had no choice but to kill Theron!" Orion said.

"How are you so certain that I could kill all three of you?" Jared was confused. This was Orion's first encounter with him, so how could Orion possibly know that he was capable of taking their lives?

"I'm not certain, but I know one thing

for sure, and that is that your potential is boundless. Even if you failed to kill us this time around, Qur future

re demise at your hands is inevitable! We saw you effortlessly defeat Dorian earlier, which certainly confirms my suspicions!

Orion wore an expression of sincerity, without a trace of flattery.

"Wait a minute!" Jared paused, turning to Orion. "What did you just say? What's the name of the guy I scared off?"

“Dorian Lantz, the eldest prince of Twilight Imperial City," Orion replied.

"What the f*ck!"

Jared instantly drew in a sharp breath, nearly passing out.

He had assumed that Dorian was Quenric from the Tenth Hall, so he hadn't held back earlier.

Unexpectedly, it turned out to be his brother-in-law!

He was in a real pickle this time!

Jared had injured his brother-in-law in a fight. How was he supposed to face Catalina in the future?

Moreover, he had been utterly disrespectful to Dorian just now, even cursing at him that he would play with his mother.
