Chapter 115 

Elizabeth felt that this woman was crazy. She clearly knew that there could not be anything between her and Lucas, but she always did such disgusting things. Was there any meaning to it? How much pleasure could she get from it? 

“That child wasn’t like this in the past!” Mary couldn’t help but frown and sigh when she heard her daughter’s words. She didn’t understand how the obedient and cute little girl had grown up to become like this. 

When Elizabeth heard this, she rolled his eyes and thought to herself, “Only you guys think that she was good when she was young. She was clearly a lunatic who had been bad since she was young.” 

“If you have something to say, just say it. Don’t make eyes at me!” Mary said in disdain when she saw her daughter like this. 

Elizabeth was speechless. Didn’t she just roll her eyes? 

Elizabeth rubbed her injured arm and pouted. She said indignantly, “You guys like her obedient and sweet–talking. Why don’t you take a look at whether she’s pretending or not!” Not only these elders but her brothers and the others had also been deceived by that woman! 

“Mom, you have no idea how bad that woman is!” Elizabeth didn’t mind exposing that woman in front of her mother at all. “When I was young, didn’t I get lost once? She was the one who did that. She said that she would take me to find my brothers. She took me to that lousy courtyard and ran away!” She couldn’t find her brother inside. Instead, she was almost scared to death by the homeless man inside. Fortunately, the homeless man didn’t have any bad intentions and sent her, who was crying and almost out of breath, to the side of the road. Coincidentally, Lucas came to find her and taught her a lesson before taking her home. 

At that time, she was so focused on crying that she forgot to complain. When she remembered to talk about this later, no one believed her. 

“Then why didn’t you tell me at that time?” Mary had an impression of this matter. After all, she was still afraid at that time. If that tramp did anything to her, they would regret it for the rest of their lives.

Naturally, Annabelle did not know about this. Because it was close to the due date, Annabelle did not dare to go out for a walk. Lucas would accompany her to walk around the courtyard when he was available. 

The doctor said that proper movement was beneficial for childbirth. 

Compared to the C–section, Annabelle was more inclined to give birth naturally. There were almost no scars on her body. Annabelle chose to be in pain for a while when she thought about the long scar from a C–section. 

Lucas knew what she was thinking, so he took the time to accompany her to walk around her courtyard a few times every day.

Annabelle did not know if the message was sent by Madeline or Ashley. The message said that Annabelle was an illegitimate daughter. Her mother had given birth to her out of wedlock. Then she was picked up by Donald Ross, who was out for a morning walk.

Lucas didn’t know what to say. 

He was stunned for a moment. Then, he saw Annabelle’s face, which was so red that it was about to bleed. He subconsciously wanted to comfort her. 

“It’s alright! It’s not you… Before Lucas could finish his sentence, the words that the head of obstetrics and gynecology had told him suddenly jumped into his mind. 

How did he know that the pregnant woman was about to give birth? First of all, her belly hurt. The head of obstetrics and gynecology, afraid that he might not understand, did not preach to him but put it bluntly. Secondly, he saw blood. Thirdly, 

her water broke. 

So Annabelle didn’t just pee her pants as she thought she did. She probably just broke her water and was in labor! 

“Honey, you’re in labor. Don’t be afraid!” Lucas’s hands were shaking a little, but he picked still Annabelle up and put her on the bed. “Don’t worry,” he said. ‘I’ll drive to the door. Ill be right back!” 

It was now May 16th, 9 pm sharp. Lucas had discussed with his parents that Annabelle would be hospitalized tomorrow. So they wouldn’t have to panic even if Annabelle was in labor. 

However, plans always fell behind changes. He had just discussed it when his two children began to cause trouble. 

When Annabelle heard Lucas’s words, she could not help but heave a sigh of relief. Thank goodness!” She thought that… How embarrassing that would be! 

Annabelle touched her belly and realized that it was a little uncomfortable. 

Turned out she was in labor!

“Carry Annabelle down first! Your father has already driven the car out!” Mary instructed. “I’ve already called the head of obstetrics and gynecology. The hospital has already made preparations. Leave the rest to me!”
