Chapter Epilogue
***Flasback
It was hard to believe when Dad had told me that he needed a big favour from me. I was beyond shocked and surprised when Dad asked me to marry his friend's son in order for them to merge the two companies.
I was never one who believed in arranged marriages or business weddings but when it came on to anything that had to do with my Dad I would do anything for him.
My Dad had always been there for me for my entire life. He would do anything for me and I would be a liar to say that he wasn't on of the greatest father, even with his weird and crazily suggestion, I still saw him as an excellent father. When my mom had passed away, Dad had been there for me even more. I clearly remembered laughing at his proposition at first when he mentioned it to me.
"Dad are you crazy? Are you seriously asking me to marry a stranger?" I laughed.
"He is not that much of a stranger. His Dad and I are good friends." Dad replied.
"Dad, is this really necessary? I mean marriage is a huge deal, shouldn't it be between two persons who love each other?"
"Alli, I know. And I shouldn't even be asking you this but it is a huge opportunity." Dad sighed. "I know what I'm asking is a big deal and I should allow you to find your own happiness..."
"Dad, I don't know." I had said to him.
"I'm sorry dear, I shouldn't be asking you such things. Forget about, I'll figure this out without getting you involved." Dad replied.
However, looking at my Dad's defeated feature, I just couldn't bare to let him be this disappointed. Dad had always been ambitious and had always done everything for the success of the company. The very same company that allowed me to love like a complete princess all the years of my life.
I thought about it for a while, amd after considering that the deal really seemed like a great opportunity, I decided to give it a try.
"I'll do it Dad". I told him.
"You will?" Dad asked surprised at my respond.
"Yes, I will marry your friend's son. I will allow the possibility of the merger." I told him.
"Allison, you have no idea how much this means. I will contact Lee right away, we'll set up a meeting for you and Christopher right away." Dad responded excitedly.
"Christopher?" I asked curiously. "Is that the name of your friend's son?"
"Yes, that is his name." Dad responded. "Christopher Lee. "
"Oh." I nodded in acknowledgement as he took out his phone. I had no idea what my life was going to be like with this Christopher but I had to be prepared for anything.

**Two Years Later**
"Wow, you look really good babe." Chris said behind me as he placed kisses up my neck. "Really, really good. Breathtaking even."
"So do you honey." I smiled as I looked at him through the full length mirror in front of us.
"You smell so good too." Christopher informed as he buried his nose into my neck and continued kissing my neck.
"I know, thank you hun. Anyway Chris, could you please stop that for a bit and help me with my zipper?" I said to him. "We are already running a little bit late."
"I am sure that they could wait just a little longer while I stay here and admire and appreciate my beautiful wife some more." Christopher chuckled before pulling me to him and started kissing my neck once more.
"You do that all the time Chris. We can't be late today. It is an important day you know that. We are always late for everything but it can't happen today. It is Felicia's first birthday, we have to be early." I said to him. "Now please help me with this stuck zipper please will you?"
"Okay fine baby." Christopher said as he let go off me and started pulling up the zipper on the back of my dress.
Today was our daughter Felicia, first birthday and we were having a birthday party for her. My dad and other family had flew over from Chicago and was already here. His family was here as well so basically the party was ready to be started but guess who wasn't quite ready as yet? Yes, us-- the parents.
We were supposed to be the first ones ready yet somehow we had managed to be the last. It seemed as if Chris and I had gained this really bad reputation of always being late. Sure, I took a while to get ready. I was being fashionably late and all but most of the time, Chris was the one who contributed to us being late. He was always the one who tried seducing me most of the time we were going out. He could not keep his hands to himself and so we often ended up being a bit later than planned.
Tonight was one of those instances where I was almost ready, well except for my zipper being stuck, and Chris was busy trying to seduce me. I had called him to help me with it but instead he seemed to have other plans than pulling up my zipper. However, whatever he had planned was not happening. I was not going to be caught up making out or making love with my husband while we had guests waiting to start our daughter's party.
Over the years being married to Chris, I have to admit that he has really changed quite alot. And if I said that he hasn't been a great husband and a wonderful father, I would be lying. I would have never thought that I would live to see the day where Chris wasn't the jerk he was at first and we would be madly in love and have a child together.
Felicia was the apple of Chris' eye, she was his world and there wasn't anyone elsw in this world to Christopher like that little girl. I remembered when I found out I was pregnant and also the day when Felicia was born. It was an amazing and most emotional moment for both of us.
At the moment, Felicia was downstairs with Tori and the others. Tori had been living in New York with Bryan. She and Bryan had gotten married nearly a year ago and she was six months pregnant with their first child.
Tori was obsessed with Felicia as well. I just know that she was going to be obsessed with her son as well when he is born. I too was somewhat obsessed with my daughter as well but I was no where to Chris' level. I remembered when I had told Christopher that I pregnant, he didn't want me going anywhere or doing anything. Even the stairs he didn't want me climbing on my own. He was in constant fear that something might have happen to us.
I was three months pregnant when I had decided to tell Christopher. I was scared to break the news to him. Even though we were getting along and things were good between us, I was still a bit skeptical about us, especially with the thought of adding a child. To my surprise, Christopher was overjoyed by the news. He literally threw a party.
I had to be wondering if Jake had rubbed off on him-- with the sudden impulse to throw parties. Clint and Tasha were happy for us as they had gotten married and were expecting as well. Tasha's daughter Athena, was born six months before Felicia.
Christopher and Tori wasn't the only one obsessed with Felicia either. My Dad and Christopher's parents were also extremely obsessed with her. For a one year old, they had already started spoiling her. Dad flew over quite often just to spend time with her. I couldn't even believe it. He couldn't do that as often to see me but he could because he finally had a grand daughter. It was all wow. She really had him making time.
As for Christopher's parents, whenever we weren't going over to their place or them coming over here to see Felicia, we had to just let her spend the weekend with them--even though Chris would often have us go over there after spending one night away from her.
I think the reason why he loved and was so obsessed with her was because she had more of his genes than mine. She had inherited my blue eyes but her hair and her other features were definitely his. When she was born and younger, she looked blonde as well but as she started growing, we noticed that her hair had turned brown. It was a bit of a light brown but still brown like Christopher's. And just the same as how Christopher couldn't keep his hands to himself, it was just the same how Felicia was always touching stuff. She was one active little girl.
I also had a feeling that whenever she starts talking properly, that we were going to have a hard time trying to keep her quiet. She was already saying a few words and believe me, she was a little chatterbox. I often told Chris that she got that from him as well since I was not much of a talker. And since Felicia would always throw a tantrum and cry a lot whenever she doesn't get her way, Chris said she got that from me because I was the cry baby. However, we didn't really care what she got from whom, we love her more than everything. She was literally our whole life.
"So, are you ready to go downstairs now baby?" Christopher asked placing one hand on my butt.
This was exactly what I meant when I said that he couldn't keep his hands to himself. He didn't even seemed like he could control it either. He was always touching me, even in his sleep he sometimes does it. I was lucky enough if Christopher was able to keep his hands to himself for at least five minutes when we were in public.
I immediately planned to warn him that he had better try keep his hands to himself at the party. I could not risk our family seeing his inappropriateness.
"Yeah, I guess I am ready." I smiled before turning around to face him and placing a small kiss on his lips. "Baby, could you please try to keep your hands to yourself tonight?"
"Why would I want to do that?" Chris asked cheekily while also looking confused.
"Because, we are going to be in the presence of our families and friends and I do not want you groping me in front them okay." I said to him.
"I promise that I will try to limit being all touchy feely but I can't promise that I will be able to keep my hands to myself all the time." Chris said to me. "Not when my wife is so hot and I'm this attracted and in love with her."
"I love you too hun but please, try to tone it down okay?" I said to him. "Okay, now let's go."
Christopher and I headed downstairs where everyone were. We were being roasted about always been late as usual. After which, we decided to start things. We put Felicia in her chair as everyone started singing the happy birthday song to
her.
Tori came up beside me and looked at me curiously before smirking at me.
"What?" I whispered looking at her curiously. "What is with that facial expression that you are wearing now?"

She had a weird mischievous type of expression on her face.
"You are late again to another event I see." Tori said to me. "What is your excuse this time?"
"My zipper had gotten stuck." I whispered to her. "Took a while before I got it loose and was able to pull it up."
"Yeah sure, "Tori said sarcastically then chuckling. "Let me guess, Chris' zipper also got stuck too right?"
"Shut it Tori." I said before playfully pushing her arm. "My dress zipper got stuck and he was helping me. I know what you are thinking but nothing more happened." "Yeah, for sure Ali." Tori smiled. "I will keep pretending that I believe that."
I shake my head at her.
"I am going to help my daughter blow out her candle now. " I said moving over to Felicia.
"Alright sweetie, after three you blow the candle out." I said to her.
Christopher had the camera to take the picture but before we could even started counting Felicia had already blew the candle by waving her hand in front of it. This caused everyone to laugh.
"I I guess that is one way to do it too." I chuckled. "She is absolutely adorable."
"Yeah, just like you." Christopher smiled before kissing me on the cheek.
As we continued the party and socialize with others, we tried to make sure that our Felicia was having fun. I couldn't help but think about how perfect things had turned out. Who would have thought that Christopher and I would now be a real couple and in love. In addition, who would have thought that we would also became the parents of this beautiful little angel.
I was happy the day that I finally decided to give him a chance. If I had never took that chance, we would have never been able to experience this wonderful moment now as a family with our other families and friends. The day our father's suggested a wedding union for a merger, and we both agreed, that was the best decision Christopher and I had ever made. The End
