Chapter 34
***Christopher's POV ***
The second I had arrived in Chicago, I instantly found my way over to Allison's home. It was a miracle that I remembered the place and directions to get there. The minute I reached her house, I headed straight to her front door and rang the doorbell. I stood there for quite sometime just ringing the doorbell over and over. I was determined to get a response and for some reason, I just believed that someone was home.
I spent quite sometime outside just hoping to get a response soon. Outside was a bit cold and I hoped that if Allison answered the door, that she would be okay with me going inside. After almost giving up, the door eventually opened. When I saw Allison, I was overjoyed.
"Allison!" I said barging in to hug her but she backed away from me.
"What are you doing here!?" Allison yelled as she lowered a lamp that was in her hand. "I could have almost killed you!"
"I'm sure you wouldn't do that, would you?" I said before closing the door behind me then looking at her with surprise. "Your hair... wow, you cut it?"
"Yeah, isn't it obvious? I did." She responded irritatedly. "Now what are you doing here Christopher?"
"I came here to see you Allison. You would not answer anymore of my calls or my texts, and when you did, you did not even allowed me to explain myself to you. You just got upset once more and hung up the phone on me." I responded sadly with hurt in my voice. "I knew that I needed to do this face to face. It was the only way I know I could get to you."
"Christopher, we don't have anything to talk about anymore." Allison said before walking off to the living room. "I saw you with Kimberly. And I know that you two are still messing around. I saw it all, so why don't you just go back to her and leave me alone. I am truly sick and tired of your excuses and you lying to me and taking me for a fool. I don't want to do that anymore, I cannot do that anymore, I can no longer be the fool."
"Allison, please just listen to me. I have never lied to you and I never betrayed or hurt you. That is why I am here now. I just need to get this out of the way." I tried reasoning with her. "I know that things got so screwed up but I am here now. I am here to tell you the truth about everything. I just need you to hear me out for about five minutes the least. Please, could you allow me that?"
"You want me to allow you five minutes where you will make up all the lies and excuses to tell me? What are you going to tell me this time Christopher? That what you did, it was a mistake? That you did not mean it or that you are sorry?" Allison asked in frustration "Can't you see Christopher, this isn't going to work out. I just need you to stop playing games with me and just leave me alone."
"I am really sorry but I can't do that Allison." I told her as I gently held on to her arms which stopped her from walking away once again. "I can't do that because I am so in love with you."
"What?" Allison asked in shock.

"I know that you do not believe me Alli, but it is the truth. I love you so much Allison." I confessed to her while looking directly into her eyes.
"Christopher, do you expect me to believe that after I saw you making out with Kimberly!?" Allison asked incredulously.
I knew that the reason why she ran away was because she thought that I was cheating. The thought of Allison thinking that I was dirt, sent me in full confession mood. I started explaining everything that happened to her and confessed my feelings for her. I was determined to let her know everything and be aware of all my feelings towards her.
At the end of my confession Allison was in a state of shock and said she needed time to think. I didn't want to push her so I decided to give her some space. I left the house and started walking back to my car.
I stopped however, when I heard Allison called out to me.
"Chris! Please wait!"
I stopped walking and turned around expectantly. Allison came outside, walked over to me and stood right in front of me.

"I think that sometimes in making certain decision, it is one of the hardest things to do, but I am giving you one last chance. This one chance is to prove to me that you're really not a jerk, that I can trust you and that you really care about me." "Thank you. Thank you so much Allison. I promise you that I won't let you down again." I smiled happily before pulling her into a big hug. "You won't regret it, I won't disappoint you again."
I was ecstatic to hear that Allison was willing to give us a chance.
Allison threw her arms around him as well before resting her head on my shoulder. It felt absolutely amazing having Allison in my arms.
"I know that you don't really believe me Allison, but I do love you." I told her once again.
"I love you too Christopher." Allison whispered but I heard it clearly.
I didn't care about anything else at the moment than the thought that I was in love with Allison so much and knowing that she returned my feelings. That revelation alone was enough to make me one of the happiness man in the world.
