300 Days With The Alpha Beta Triplets

Chapter HER ARM

THIRD PERSON POV:

As the chant of the witches echoed in the air, Hazel and Bella stood close to the rock. Halle stood nearby with her hands raised as she reinforced the protective barrier.

"Are you both ready?" Halle asked the two, and they glanced at each other, nodding. They each bit their palms, letting blood drip onto the surface of the rock. The ground trembled as the stone absorbed their blood. A surge of energy rippled outward, and for a moment, it seemed like they had succeeded. But then a chilling laugh echoed through the air, freezing them in place.

Sue emerged from the darkness, but neither Bella nor Hazel was moved. The witches kept chanting their spell, and Halle, who had created a powerful barrier, turned to Sue.

"Well, isn't this touching? The living and the dead all merged together. What a joyous reunion," she said in a mocking tone.

Sebastian moved first, stepping between Sue and the girls.

"Stay back!" he growled, raising his hands defensively, and Sue chuckled lightly. Before Sebastian could move an inch, she moved with undeniable strength, striking him and sending him crashing to the ground.

"Traitor!" she snarled.

Evelyn rushed forward, standing still with her gaze focused on Sue.

"You'll have to go through me if you want to touch my daughter." Sue smirked, her fangs glinting in the moonlight.

"I see you want to die in my hands for the second time, but do not worry, I am going to grant your wishes," Sue said, rushing towards Evelyn.

Bella's heartbeat increased. Evelyn was dead, but for some reason, she couldn't put off the fact Sue was fighting her mother. Evelyn rushed at Sue with fury blazing in her eyes, but Sue grabbed her by the neck, slamming her to the ground. Then she chuckled.

"She might be your biological daughter, but my blood flows in her veins, too. I made her who she is today, and that is why she is so important." Sue's grip on Evelyn's neck tightened, causing Bella to rush towards them.

"Mum!" she yelled, but the barrier pushed her back.

"Stand back!" Halle yelled at Bella.

A glowing ball of energy formed between her palms, crackling with raw power. With a swift motion, she hurled it at Sue, hitting her square in the back. Sue staggered, releasing Evelyn and spinning around to face Halle.

"You'll regret that," Sue hissed, her eyes glowing with rage as she charged at Halle.

"We'll see about that," Halle shot back, stepping forward. Another energy ball formed in her hand, but Sue was faster this time. She lunged at Halle, her claws swiping through the air, only to be blocked by a shield Halle conjured at the last second. The impact sent sparks flying in the chilly midnight air.

The fight got really intense, with Sue's brute strength clashing against Halle's raw magic. Halle launched another blast, sending Sue flying back several feet, but Sue recovered almost instantly, landing gracefully on her feet.

"A dead witch about a hundred years old against a vampire who has lived almost two decades-laughable," Sue commented, cracking her neck. "I can take all four of you with my eyes closed."

Bonnie and Sebastian joined in at once, with Bonnie darting toward Sue. She released her claws at once, heading for a strike while Sebastian circled from the other side, hoping to catch Sue off guard. Sue, however, dodged Bonnie's strike effortlessly, catching her wrist and tossing her aside like a rag doll.

"Pathetic!" Sue commented. Then she grabbed Sebastian, slamming him to the ground. "I can do this all day," she said.

That was exactly Halle's plan. They needed to keep her distracted in order for the release of Radolf to take place. That way, she wouldn't be able to take Bella.

Halle, now breathing heavily, fired another energy blast, but Sue dodged it, closing the distance between them. With a powerful strike, Sue knocked Halle to the ground. Halle groaned, struggling to push herself up, but Sue delivered another blow, leaving her motionless.

The barrier flickered, shattering like glass. Bella and Hazel gasped as the shield disappeared, exposing them to the danger. Sue turned to them with a victorious smirk, curling on her lips.

"Now, nothing stands in my way. You are mine, hybrid."

Sue stepped forward, her eyes locked on Bella.

"Come with me, hybrid. Don't make this harder than it has to be." When she said this, Bella's face contorted in anger. Then she shook her head, taking a step back.

"No. I'm not going anywhere with you, and I would never do that. You all have hurt a lot of people, and I am tired of pretending I am happy with you. This ends now!" she gritted her teeth, and Sue let out a maniacal laugh. Bella glanced back at the rock, hoping the spell would end magically and Radolf would be released at once. "You are so stubborn, hybrid. But trust me, you do not want to fight with me, because I promise you I will not hold back this time. I will cut you down without looking back." Bella swallowed hard when she said this. She wasn't necessarily scared of Sue, but she was scared the spell would be interrupted, and they would have to start from the beginning.

She was more frustrated than scared. She wanted everything to end.

Hazel stepped forward at once, standing close to Bella.

"You are no match for us. Whether you are a thousand years old as a vampire, we will cut you down," Hazel said, and Sue chuckled.

"You will have to fight the both of us if you want to take Bella."

"How adorable," she sneered. "But I ain't got time for that!"

Sue knew exactly what to do, so she moved with great speed, lunging forward at the globe which Hazel had placed on the ground. But Halle was fast enough, swiping under Sue's feet, causing her to fall just a few inches away from the globe.

"Protect the globe!" Halle barked at Hazel, who rushed towards it, picking it up at once. At that moment, Sue got to her feet, rushing towards Bella. Hazel was caught between protecting the globe and rushing at Bella.

"Protect it!" Halle barked again as the four of them tried to get to their feet.

"We've got this, Haze. The blood is already on the rock, and we cannot lose contact with the witches." Hazel nodded reluctantly, grabbing the globe and retreating toward the rock while Sue's eyes flicked back to Bella, a twisted smile spreading across her face.

"So, it's just you and me now," Sue said, cracking her knuckles.

"I have my family and friends surrounding me," Bella said, and Sue chuckled. Then she snapped her hand, and a barrier formed between just her and Bella, causing Bella's eyes to widen.

"Let me repeat myself again, Hybrid. Return with me or you might meet your death inside this circle."

Bella didn't answer. She charged, her claws out, slashing toward Sue with all the speed and strength she could muster. Sue blocked the first strike with ease, countering with a powerful punch that sent Bella stumbling back.

Bella recovered quickly, darting forward again. Their blows collided, claws against claws, strength against strength. The sound of their fight echoed through the night, every hit sending shockwaves through the air. Bella ducked under a swing, spinning to kick Sue in the chest, sending her sliding back.

Sue smirked, wiping a trickle of blood from her lip.

"Not bad. But you're still not strong enough, because I created you." She lunged forward, grabbing Bella by the arm. "And I am kind of getting tired." As she said this, she twisted Bella's arm at once, causing Bella to yelp in pain. With one pull, she separated her right arm from her body.

Bella screamed as pain exploded through her body. Blood poured from the wound, staining the ground beneath her. She staggered back, clutching the stump where her arm had been. Everyone stood in shock except Sue, who chuckled hard.

"I would love to stay, but I need to complete a ritual." She vanished at once.
