Zenora, The Dragon's Fury

Chapter 65. Three Dragons

“… Keep the castle well protected, and don’t send off a too big of party to search for Hayden alright? And Kaden, don’t be too easily judgemental about people, try to find their motives, before putting out a sentence, and Tyler, please… don’t harass that girl from that house at the city’s square.” I strictly said.

“What? It’s not my fault that she can’t handle all my love!” Tyler said and Brock chuckled.

Tyler had been bragging to Brock about this girl, which he satisfied for four times in one night. But the day after, I had gotten her father at the back of the castle, telling me that she wasn’t able to walk! I know that he didn’t actually hurt her, and that she probably enjoyed herself, but I don’t want any of those girl’s father’s getting on my doorstep again.

Brock was smiling at me and I growled.

“What? It’s not my fault that my son does the same as me! And besides that, I’ve never heard you complain about it either!” Brock said, while patting Tyler’s shoulder.

“Yep, that’s my cue.” Kaden said, and walked towards Iris, to give her a kiss on the cheek, and then left.

What was up with Kaden? I’ll ask him when I get back.

Brock wasn’t wrong though. I always, and still, liked it when we had spend an all-nighter, being intimate and getting multiple orgasms. It kept us fit, released some stress, and just oh… that feeling! It rejuvenated my insides. I hope that I’m getting Human quick again, so I can jump his bone soon after.

I know he wants to as well, as he has been without sex ever since I had transformed. Which is more than two months already!

“Well, we are off now. I hope we can find him soon, and be back within a few days, but I think that Ayinthur has hid himself well. So, don’t keep your hopes up. And let Nicolai contact me, when there is trouble alright?” I said.

“Honey, you do realize that I’m the King here? And that I have perfect strategical insight? You should give me some more credit than this.” Brock said, almost pouting.

“Yes, you are right, I’m sorry. I love you.” I said to him.

“Love you too.” He replied. “Now, get going.”

And so we did, Iris was already sitting on my back, and we took off.

Suddenly I heard some shrieking behind me, and when I turned my head, I saw Tanith trying to fly with us. Does she recognize me, even though I’m a Dragon? Wow.

“Tanith, get on my back!” I yelled to her, after flying a bit lower.

Iris was sitting right behind my shoulder blades, there where my wings started, so there was plenty of room behind her, for Tanith to lay on. She curled her tail around my belly, and laid her head right next to Iris.

“Hi there girly, you alright?” Iris asked her, while stroking her head.

Tanith hissed in contentment, and just laid there.

While I was out for two months, Iris had become her friend, and apparently brightened up a little. Maybe because Tanith’s species is somewhere distant related to Dragons, that Iris felt a connection with her, I don’t know, but I’m happy that she had started to come out of her room more.

Iris and I decided that we wanted to take off to the other side of the ocean first. We had to start looking for Ayinthur somewhere, so why not start with a place that we haven’t seen before? A little adventure might be fun, while looking for that stubborn lizard, right?

Brightly glowing fish, magnificent powerful and large whales with tusks, and sea turtles the size of small houses. Everything we saw, every new creature we spotted, was even more amazing than things we saw before that.

Behind me, Iris tried to draw every animal, and catalogued where we had found them and such. She had taken a map from the war room, but soon came to find out, that it wasn’t anywhere near accurate, as the sailors from the transport ships had made it seem. So, at the best of her capabilities, and having the upper view from the back of a Dragon, she drew on the map, with precise care.

Upon reaching the lands again, on the other side of the ocean, there were more amazing creatures and landscapes to be found.

A marsh, where crocodiles with eight legs lived, snakes and lizards crawled everywhere, and trees with lianas and strange fruits grew. It was amazing to witness this all, and Iris just kept on drawing everything we went to.

She was actually really good at drawing things, in that sketchbook of hers. I know she liked her art lessons, but I didn’t know that she was this imaginative and spot on, with her detailed pictures.

We kept on flying, and soon we reached a village, build on water. And upon flying over, we got shot at, by arrows from people from a dark skinned tribe.

Iris had yelled to them to stop, and when I landed a little further, they soon came rushing in to us. I didn’t feel in any danger, as the crude arrows wouldn’t hurt me, but I wanted to let them know, that we meant no harm either. Iris jumped off from me, while getting shot by the arrows. She knocked each and every one of those pointy things away with her arms, and then started to form a fireball in her right hand.

The people had jumped up in surprise, but when they lifted their bows again, she threw her fireball in front of their feet.

“You can’t defeat me! So stop doing this! We mean you no harm!” She yelled to them.

I was proud to see her like this, strong, determined yet justified and caring.

“Why are you here?” A voice in the back of the group asked.

The accent of the voice was odd to hear, the ‘r’ was rolling of his tongue, and the words were pronounced extremely clear, as if the man was trying his best to sound accurate. This was not his native language.

“We are looking for another Dragon, such as hers, but then all black.” Iris said, while pointing at me.

“We? Who did you bring with you, other then your animals?” The man asked.

He stepped forward and only now, were we able to see him clearly.

All the men, wore simple britches, and their torso’s were bare. Their dark skin, was covered in strange tattoos, not made by ink, but something else. It looked like some sort of braille but then on the body. Dots and lines covered their skin, following the curves of their muscles and making them look strong and fierce.

But this man, who took the lead in talking, was covered in those tattoos, more than the others. So it made the suggestion that this man, might be their leader.

“I’m no ordinary animal, my dear man. I’m a Dragon, and this half breed here, is my daughter.”

Some of the females that were behind the men, fainted on the spot! The others looked scared and took some steps backwards.

It had taken us about half an hour, before they really realized that we meant them no harm. They didn’t know that Dragons could talk, and the sight of us three, a half Dragon, a full Dragon, and a look-a-like Dragon, must have been odd to witness.

Eventually, they had offered us food, and Iris and Tanith, gladly ate some of it. Me being a Dragon, didn’t make me want to eat anything, as I would need a lot of food, and I didn’t want to deplete their supplies.

I left my daughter and Tanith, for an hour, to hunt for myself. Luckily I had found some stags roaming the grassy plains a bit further. Two or three were scorched by my fire, and eaten whole. Not the best meal I’ve ever had, but there was no room for pickiness.

I even had brought along one of the other stags, for the tribe, as gratitude for being such good hosts.

They gladly took it from me, as they would be fed for two whole days with it.

Soon, we were off to flying again, in the direction they had seen a Dragon pass by, months ago.
