Chapter 97 Madame Moore Had Something on Her Mind
Seeing that Madame Moore was relaxed, she put the perfume on the table, held Madame Moore's hand and said sincerely, "Madame Moore, that's not important for me, but you don't have to be angry. All the people who want to make you mad don't deserve your anger. That's nothing more important than your health. Don't lose your temper, it's not worth it."
Hearing that, Madame Moore's eyes filled with tears, she held Shirley Thomas' hand and lightly patted the back of her hand a few times, "Ah, I can't leave Bryan alone, otherwise I would have already died with his grandpa earlier. Paisley, now that you are here, I am somewhat comforted, please be more tolerant with Bryan when he's in a bad mood. Bryan sometimes doesn't have a good temper, but he's not a bad person."
Shirley's words touched those things in Madame Moore's bottom of heart.
Every word she said was hidden in the bottom of her heart. Usually, Madame Moore was strong, but nobody knew that if she were not strong, Bryan Moore wouldn't survive in the Moore Family. She didn't even know why she was so eager to protect that grandson.
When she first met that grandson, Madame Moore had compassion for him, because he was so...pitiful.
However, Shirley was a little flustered when she faced Madame Moore's words.
She came there to comfort Madame Moore, but instead she made her misunderstand.
"Madame Moore, I..."
"Dr. Thomas, when Madame Moore sees you, she feels much happier." Jasmine Gomez quickly interrupted her when she was about to clarify her relationship with Bryan.
Shirley looked up at her, and Jasmine shook the head at her secretly.
Seeing that, Shirley had to swallow back what she was going to say.
Now there was nothing more important than making that old woman happy.
Madame Moore chuckled several times, "Paisley, don't sit down. Just go directly to the dining room to eat something. Today, Jasmine is going to cook."
Seeing that Madame Moore didn't grab her to talk more about Bryan, Shirley secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
She couldn't promise Madame Moore anything, after all, she had to revenge herself.
"Okay."
"Jasmine, take her there."
Jasmine nodded and followed Shirley.
After the two walked out of the hall, Jasmine called her, "Dr. Thomas."
Shirley slowed her steps and turned to look at Jasmine, "Jasmine, do you have anything to say?"
She deliberately slowed her pace and walked with Jasmine.
Jasmine lowered her head and said, "If Madame Moore talks about Mr. Moore in front of you, please go easy on her."
Shirley looked at her, Jasmine's eyes were reddish and sadness was shown on her face.
She was very worried and felt that something was going to happen to Madame Moore. The Moores' Manor made her feel depressed for a while, "Madame Moore... has something happened to her?" "The health examination report just came out. Madame Moore's health is getting worse and worse every day. Even the most expensive medicine could not control her blood sugar. Now she's getting injections every day. Recently, she has been worried about some things, but actually, what she is most worried about is Mr. Moore. She is always worried about Mr. Moore." When Jasmine said that, her voice choked with sobs and her hands were tightened slightly.
When she raised her head, a drop of tears flowed from her eyes, "Dr. Thomas, Madame Moore hopes to see Mr. Moore getting married and having a child during her remaining years, but I don't know if her health would hold up to that time. She never told Mr. Moore and she doesn't want me to tell anyone, but I...really can't see Madame Moore in that depressed state."
Seeing Jasmine's tears, she was touched and uncomfortable.
How could that happen?
Madame Moore was always smiling every time she saw her.
She looked like an urchin and she didn't seem to have any worries. If today the nanny who accompanied Madame Moore didn't tell her, she wouldn't have known that Madame Moore was in poor health. What Jasmine said just now made her feel very embarrassed.
Madame Moore hoped to see Bryan getting married and having a child during her remaining years, but she couldn't help her.
Anyway, Madame Moore actually had two great-grandsons.
But she was not ready yet.
She turned around nervously and said, “Jasmine, Madame Moore is not in good health. You should tell Mr. Moore as soon as possible. If it's not possible here, you can try abroad." Jasmine raised her hand and wiped the tears on her face, "We did, the best doctors in the world are in the Moores' Manor. Those villas behind the Moores' Manor are medical rooms specially built for Madame Moore. Mr. Moore takes pains to this matter. There were times when Madame Moor was seriously ill, and Mr. Moore forgot food and sleep because of the anxiety. Madame Moore finally woke up but he was exhausted from taking care of Madame Moore. After that, Madame Moore didn't dare to talk about her health conditions in front of him, and she even told the doctor to keep him in the dark." Shirley was slightly stunned.
She could not imagine that Bryan, that apathetic person, was so attentive to Madame Moore.
"What about the rest of the Moore Family?"
When Jasmine heard that, her expression changed dramatically, "If there will be a chance, Dr. Thomas will meet the other members of the Moore Family, but right now I prefer Dr. Thomas not to meet them." "Why?" Shirley asked subconsciously.
At that moment, Bryan came out from the opposite room.
Jasmine hurriedly bowed her head and wiped away her tears. Shirley also contained her astonishment and walked slowly toward Bryan.
"Why did you take so long?" Bryan approached and glanced at her left hand.
All the attention was focused on Shirley and he didn't notice what was wrong with Jasmine.
Shirley lowered her head and said, "I saw Madame Moore and talked with her for a while before coming."
"Mr. Moore, you are here, I'll be back to Madame Moore first."
Bryan nodded with an "hmm".
Jasmine turned and left.
Bryan raised his hand and held her right hand, "Let's go, I will accompany you to the hospital after breakfast."
He took her to the dining room.
Shirley looked at her back. Jasmine's words were still echoing in her mind.
Should she tell Bryan? Now Madame Moore's health was getting worse day by day, should she tell him to keep her company?
But if she told him, like Jasmine said, he would let himself dead tired for Madame Moore's health. That would make her more anxious and create a vicious circle that would be harmful to both. Shirley had never struggled like that, and she never felt so oppressed and uncomfortable like today.
It was like a heavy burden on her shoulders that made her breathless.
Walking into the dining room, Bryan pulled the chair for her to sit down. He sat across from her. The servant put the breakfast in front of her.
She stared at the Chinese sesame balls, soya milk, bread as well as fresh fruits and vegetables in front of her, but she had no appetite.
She looked at him, "Later, I'll go to the hospital by myself, you can...stay with Madame Moore.”☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
