Chapter 273
The next morning, Patricia woke up and took a look at her phone, realizing that Isaac had sent her a message ten minutes ago.
'Come to the company with me today, Trish. I'll be waiting for you at my place.'
When Patricia saw that, she smiled faintly and started typing on the screen. 'I'll be ready in ten minutes. You're a wonderful man, President Arnold.'
After she sent the message, she got out of bed and washed up in the bathroom. She slept through the night peacefully on the big bed, and she hadn't experienced such sound sleep for years.
Then, she looked around the spacious bathroom. Besides a shower space, there was also a bathtub. She grinned from ear to ear, thinking that they finally had a home.
When she went downstairs, the kids were already doing their own things in the living room. They had woken up earlier than her.
Sylvie was practicing piano skills while her sons were busy working on their laptops.
She reminded them by saying, "Don't exhaust yourself. Go out for a walk when you're tired."
Sylvie turned to look at her with a smile. "What do you think about my piano skills, Mommy?"
It was a blessed morning. Patricia could hear her daughter practicing the piano as soon as she woke up. She gave her a thumbs-up and said, "It's excellent."
When she shuffled toward the door, Scott called out to her, saying, "Have your breakfast first before going to work, Mommy."
Josephine was preparing breakfast in the kitchen, and it was Patricia who told them that not having breakfast in the morning was detrimental to their health.
Patricia took a look at the time and replied, "I'll have my breakfast at the company. It's getting late. See you tonight, sweethearts!"
Then, she left the house in a hurry. She had told Isaac that she would be ready in ten minutes, but it had taken her twenty minutes to get prepared. She wondered if Isaac was still waiting for her. If not, she would just drive her car.
It wasn't easy to use public transportation here. Even though there were buses, they would only come every 30 minutes, and it was even harder to hail a taxi.
She trotted toward Isaac's house and opened the door with her fingerprint. Then, she ducked her head into the house and asked, "Isaac… Isaac, are you there?"
When Isaac opened his bedroom door and saw the woman, a smile appeared on his face. "Please come in." Why does she look so cautious?
Patricia entered the house and flashed a bright smile at him. "Hehe, I said I'd be ready in 10 minutes, but I was late. I thought you were gone."
Isaac spread his arms. He didn't sleep well last night because his mind was full of this woman. He imagined himself touching her smooth skin and soft body. As a result, there were dark circles under his eyes. Now, he just wanted to hug Patricia the moment he saw her.
Patricia pounced on him and crashed into the man's embrace. It felt awesome to be in his arms.
As the couple made out, two people outside the house were opening the car doors for them. When they saw what was going on, they got back into the car.
Liam was especially envious of them as he wanted to fall in love as well. Then, he turned to look at the driver and asked, "Do you have a girlfriend, Tom?"
Tom shook his head. He was Isaac's driver, and he was on duty around the clock. Therefore, he didn't have time to look for a girlfriend.
Liam stroked his forehead. "Well, it seems like both of us are single. Let's watch them make out together."
Patricia was initially joyful, but the moment she realized that the car doors were open, coupled with the fact that there were two people in the vehicle, she quickly pushed Isaac away. "We're getting late. Let's go!"
Only then did the man release her and looked her in the eye before demanding, "If you don't keep me company tonight, I'll go to your house."
Even if he had to climb through the window, he would still want to be with her tonight. He didn't want to
toss and turn restlessly on the bed again like what had happened the night before. He yearned to be with her.
Perhaps he hadn't bedded a woman for a long time, and he realized that even a cold shower did nothing to calm him down. It felt terrible to be excited all night.
With a blushing face, Patricia shook her head. "No way! The kids still haven't accepted you."
She knew he was aware of that, and he was making things difficult for her by coming up with such a request.
"Alright, then. I'll just climb over the wall when I want to look for you."
