I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in Sandy."

I saw a young woman about 19 years old with her. "This is my daughter Beth."

" Beth this is Dove and that sweet little girl is Rain."

" Pleased to meet you, Beth."

" Come in."

" I walked to the kitchen and said please sit down."

" I have coffee, tea, water, or juice."

" Coffee for me Sandy said. I will take a glass of juice Beth said."

" I put Rain in her high hair and put a cup of coffee in front of Sandy and handed Beth a glass of ice juice."

" I got juice for Rain and coffee for me."

"Sugar and creamer are right there I said handing Sandy a spoon."

" So Beth, tell me what you are taking in college."

" I am taking classes to be a pre-school teacher."

" Good for you."

" I have an Independent License in Social Worker with a Master's degree."

" I of course am a Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol counselor."

" So you like children?"

" Yes, I do."

" I love them."

" I call them little people. Because that is what they are."

"Will you feel safe staying here at night by yourself?"

" Oh, I will be fine. Besides, while you are in the hospital the house will be watched and guarded at night. On top of that, I am an 8-degree black belt. I am good with a knife as well. So Rain will be well protected."

" Since you will have her 24/7 for about three days and nights I will pay you $100 a day."

" That's too much she told me."

"No, I am taking your time to take care of my daughter as if she is yours. That alone is a full-time job."

" You have to feed her three times a day with snacks in the afternoon and before bed."

" Can you drive a truck?"

" Yes, I can drive a truck."

" Good because you will have to take me to the hospital and pick me up when I get released."

" You might also have to drive to town for supplies and I will leave you money in an envelope for that."

"I think $500 should cover what you might need."

" So would you like to stay here starting two weeks before I am due?"

" I would like that. I can get to know Rain and she will feel safer knowing I stay here with you both."

" Rain is a very intelligent little girl."

" Do not let her fool you."

" I know you are a member of the club across the street."

" I do not bother them."

" But just this once while I am in the hospital if you want to go over and visit I will permit you to take Rain with you."

"So we will show you the bedroom you will use while you stay here."

I stood up and walked down the hall to the last bedroom on the right and opened the door. I heard her gasp. "This is a beautiful room."

" Well, it will be yours while you are staying with us."

" Rains is next door to yours. I opened the door for them to see it. And mine is right across from Rains. I opened my door next."

"We all have private bathrooms. This door is a community bathroom."

" You have seen the kitchen, dining room, and living room."

" You can move in whenever you want to."

" I walked over to the side table in the dining room and gave her a key."

" This key opens the front door. I will give it back when I leave."

" That will be fine I said."

"Well, we are going over to the club. It was nice to see you again Dove."

" It was nice meeting you Beth."

" I know I will like to take care of Rain for you. She is beautiful."

" And feel free to swim in the pool with Rain. I do. It is fun."

" Thanks," she said as she walked out the door.

" See you later I said watching them walk to the car."

I shut the screen door and locked it. I then carried the glass and coffee cups to the kitchen and rinsed them before putting them on the dishwasher. I then walked back into the living room where Rain was watching cartoons. I sat down on the couch and looked out the screen door.

I felt the baby moving and thought of Wolf. I missed me so much. But he didn't miss me. I least I didn't think he did. I heard my phone ring. It was Donna.

"Hello Sara."

" Hello Donna. How are things going there?"

I heard her laughing. "Some new MC came here and the president brought his sister."

" She kept making passes at Wolf and he shocked all of us."

"How did he do that?"

" He told her in front of her brother and the members that she can stop flirting with him because he had a woman."

" No, he did not" I said.

"Yes, he did."

" That's not all."

" He told her that you were going to have a baby soon and he was not interested in her or any other woman."

"So he actually claimed me in front of his members?"

" He sure did."

" Here he goes again. Listen to this."

" How many times do I have to tell you, women, I already have a woman."

" Look here is a picture of her. She is going to have our first child in less than two months so back the fuck off."

" I do not want to fuck you and I sure as hell can't claim you I have already claimed a woman. Go find someone else to claim you I am not interested."

Then I heard him yell for Beast.

I want you to tell any visiting MC's not to bring their sister's or any other woman to this club when they visit again."

" At least not until Dove comes back."

" I hear you, Wolf."

" Good."

" No more single woman and if they don't listen they do not enter this club they can wait outside until our meeting is over."

"If they are planning on staying the night they can get a motel room for the single women and they can stay there."

" Make it known I do not want them here."

" Now, do you believe me?"

" Yes, but I want him to claim me before I come back there."

" I want to be wearing his property cut. Or I will not return until Rain turns 18."

"If he asks if I heard from you what do you want me to say."

" Tell him I will not return until he claims me face to face in front of any MC I may choose and I have the property cut."

" Or I will not come back."

" Alright. I will tell him if he asks me."

" Donna, I know that he is listening because you would not call me Sara."

" Yes, you are right."

" So, I am sure that he knows you are talking to me."

"Oh, tell him I block my phone number when I do call you."

" I don't want him to have my new phone number. Not yet anyway."

" He has changed since you left."

" He is harder to deal with."

"The members keep saying they wish you would come back to the club but understand why you left."

" They don't blame you."

" They blame him for not claiming you."

" I have to go he is throwing things now."

" Talk to you later."

" Bye, I said hanging up the phone."
