Wolf Bond

Chapter Author's Note

Hey,

First of all, I am extremely thankful to all of you who have decided to give this story a chance. I don’t know if any of you know that, this is my first werewolf/fantasy story, so your support is really appreciated.

If you have been following my work, you would know that I write general fiction. But for some reason, I decided to try my hand at writing fantasy as well, because once in a while everyone needs a change.

Now the reason behind writing this note is not to get any sympathies or anything like that. It is because that I am honestly getting tired of some people. Some people are testing my patience, by letting me know their ”opinions".

Let’s make one thing clear here, I really appreciate all my readers and their opinions matter to me. But there are some people who are just plain rude and let me tell you, I am not someone who is going to tolerate such nonsense.

Along with all my readers, I respect every single writer. Because it is not easy to put your work in front of the world and let people judge you. It requires a lot of courage, and for that, they should be respected even if you don’t like their work.

So this note is to address all those geniuses who think they are better than anyone else.

If you don’t have anything positive to say, other than trying to demotivate anyone then please take your opinion and go somewhere where it matters. And don’t waste precious minutes of your and my life.

“Your story is so cliche... you should have written this thing in this way... or you should have done that... blah blah blah!”

I haven’t asked you to read my story in the first place, neither you are being forced to read. There are thousands of books out there, you can read whichever book meets your standards.

I might be sounding rude, but I am sorry I can’t help it. I am just a normal human, and sometimes these comments do get to me.

I believe every story is cliche, but the perception of the story-teller is what makes it unique.

So, why don’t you focus on the things which make the story different? Instead of, discouraging a writer who spends hours writing a chapter.

The comment which took only two seconds for you to type, easily ruin the hours of effort of a writer.

You know, the writers on writing platforms like FindNovel.net, Wattpad, etcetera, only write because they want some encouragement. The majority of them don’t get paid, but still, this doesn’t stop them from writing because their only wish is to be appreciated. That’s it.

Your simple comments like ” Thank you for the update" makes my day because I feel there is someone out there who is appreciating my hard work.

I agree not everyone will like my stories, and I am totally fine with it because I can’t make everyone happy. But please think at least once before commenting something mean on any writer’s story. Because you may move on and start reading something else after making that comment, but somewhere that writer will be stuck on your comment for days losing their will to write.

In the end, again I would like to thank each and every one of you who never fails to encourage me and support me. I will continue to write for you guys and for myself.

And yeah, one more thing, I have removed all those negative comments so you would not find them in this book. Because the world is already full of negativity and we don’t need anymore in our lives.

Love you and stay safe. 💜

Edited: After reading some of the comments, I would like to clarify that, I know the difference between positive criticism and being rude, so I don’t mind people pointing out the flaws which they have felt in the story. I love it when readers share their honest views and never had any issue with it. My only concern is that a person should not try to devalue someone’s else hard work. If you find something wrong which you don’t like just comment on how someone can improve instead of being rude and trying to demotivate another person. Or at least be respectful when you are commenting. I don’t think it is much to ask. Thank you.
