Winning Her Heart Again

Chapter 90: He's Not Even Worth It

Chapter 90: He's Not Even Worth It Jasmine's POV

I am so mad. What he did yesterday really caught others' attention. I also noticed that at work, they were talking behind our backs. I can't blame them because Travis did that. He's so arrogant. How could I say that word with so many people hearing our conversation? How could he say he loved me? He was so unfair. Why is he doing this to me? I just want to get over with the both of us. I never wish this to happen.

"Did I hear them right ma'am Jaz? Sir Travis shouted that he loved you? Oh my gosh. I wish I was here yesterday so I could see him say that" she giggled. I glared at her. She stopped from smiling and shut her mouth. She even imagined zipping her lips.

I am grateful that she was not here yesterday because she is here. Maybe she will keep on annoying me, just like she is doing right now.

"Stop it, Rhian, that was not true. He's just lying. He just did that to make me believe in him so he could play with my feelings. And that's what is not gonna happen anymore. "I told her while crossing my arms.

After yesterday's events, I didn't return to the venue. He kept calling me and apologizing through messages, but I didn't reply or even dare to answer his call.

No matter what he does, I will never believe him.

"I was just curious, ma'am, because if he's really lying, then why is he still making an effort? Come to think of it. He is always giving you food and drinks. He even always gives you flowers but you keep on rejecting it. Don't you know that he always asks me? It's not that I'm complaining, but he's really doing that every day whenever you are not here," she said without stopping.

I looked at him, surprised. I didn't know he was asking Rhian every day. Why didn't she tell me about it? He was really out of his mind.

"Why didn't you tell me before about that so I could talk to him?" That guy. He's really hard-headed.

I just can't get over what he said.

I don't know, I'm Confused. He's acting so good that sometimes I wanted to believe in him. But whenever I think about those things that he did, I can't believe him.

"I just thought that you would get mad; that's why I didn't tell you. But I always notice that he is staring at you and even watching whatever you do. There is this one time he was drinking his coffee, and you were like, just arrived here at the venue. You were wearing that yellow dress, and when he saw you, he suddenly poured the coffee on his pans. I wanted to laugh so hard that time he was hypnotized by your appearance," she said, laughing. I couldn't remember what happened.

"1

'You knew how much he hurt me. I

think I would not be able to give him another chance. He's making an effort. Yes. But it doesn't mean that I will forget the past. I'm still mad and in pain. I once felt like I was being left behind. I was abandoned where I badly needed him. I begged for love, but he never showed it to me."

It was like I wasted my whole life staying with a working person who I believed would protect me, respect me, and always be loyal to me. But in the end, he just ruined me.

If I am given a chance to get back to the past, I would choose that we will just be strangers. But it's too late.

"I'm sorry, Ma'am, but he's really

making an effort just to get you back. What about Sir Paul? I was shocked when I heard he proposed to you." Her voice is full of curiosity. I forgot to tell her about it. What I am thankful for is that no one knows what he did but us in the workplace.

That was not true. I don't know what is wrong with that guy, and he's doing such hilarious things. Everyone here knew that he was just joking, but the couple and that jerk thought that it was true. "I explained to her. Her jaw dropped to what she heard, but as soon as she realized, she kept on laughing.

"What?! I thought he was just a playboy, but he's also good at pranking," she said, laughing while her hand heated the table.

"Lower your voice, Rhian. "I told her, but she still couldn't stop laughing. I let out a heavy breath.

"Are you going to stop, or I will fire you on the spot?" I raised my eyebrows, which made her stop immediately. I don't know what was funny about what I said, and she laughed like that.

"Sorry, ma'am, you know what? I agree. Sir Travis won't change any more. And sir Paul? He's really crazy. "I just rolled my eyes on what she said.

"That was the first I've heard you agree with me. Now, let's get back to work and stop gossiping." I stood up immediately and helped the others.

"Maybe that's the reason why he's mad." I heard her sad while walking and nodding while passing by. I get curious about it. I wanted to ask her, but I chose to focus on my work.

Who is mad? I can't really figure that woman out. Sometimes, she's too serious, but sometimes, he's very hyper. She had this moody attitude.

"We're already done here, ma'am," one of the workers said while they were holding a huge board. We needed that for an important matter.

"Great, tell everyone that they can rest for the meantime." He nodded. I looked around. It's been ten in the morning, and he's not still here. He's always present at work, but now he doesn't come.

What the heck? Why am I thinking about him?! Damn it! Focus Jaz. Do not think of that jerk. He's not even worth it. God. Maybe he's hanging out with random girls again. That's it.
