Winning Her Heart Again (Jasmine)

Chapter 54: Enjoying The Night

Chapter 54: Enjoying The Night Jasmine's POV

I get too emotional and get carried away with my feelings. But I can't blame myself. That's why, even in the first place, I do not want to meet Travis. I don't want him to know that he has a son.

My life is peaceful without him. Every time I see him, all those memories come back to me. I just can't talk to him in peace because he never gave me peace in the first place.

"Mom, we already built the tent! And Daddy's uncle made a bonfire," he said while running towards me.

After we finished talking earlier, I felt sleepy, so I went to my room to get some rest. But then, when I woke up, I didn't see David besides me. I looked inside our room, in the kitchen, in the living room, and even in the restroom, but they were not around. That's why I hurriedly called Diego and they told me that they were at the beach.

"Why didn't you wake me?" I asked him while we are walking through the tent where Diego is grilling marshmallows and meat.

"I did, Mom, but you didn't wake up. That's why Daddy Uncle told me to let you get some rest because you are tired" he explained to me while holding my hand.

"But I didn't help you here," I said. I looked at him confusedly.

"Mom, you don't have to worry about that. What is important is that you get a rest. Besides, Daddy, Uncle, and I are strong, and you don't have to help us by doing hard work," he said, and I smiled. I messed up his hair. He's like a grown man talking to me right now. "Baby, who told you everything about that?" I asked if I was, but he just shook his head and smiled. But I saw him glancing at Diego.

"Let's go, Mom; Daddy Uncle is waiting for us," he said and pulled me.

When we arrived at the ten, I checked inside, and they already fixed everything.

Actually, we are not the only ones here; there are many tourists having bonfires and building tents.

"Great job, everything is okay now. "I commented, and David proudly looked at me. We went to Diego to grill meat.

"Need help?" I asked him. He smiled as he handed me some meat.

"I need help. Can you please taste it? And tell me if it's good or not?" he said, which made me laugh.

But I still did what he said while David is also eating now.

"It's good and tasty. Even without sauce, it is still delicious", I said while savouring it.

"Mom, can you give me some marshmallows?" David went beside me and stared at me eating. I laughed, and Diego handed him a stick of marshmallows. Here, eat slowly, okay?" He said, and David nodded.

"He's been eating since I started grilling these", he said, and I looked at David.

I laughed, and he went to the tent.

"Mommy! Look! I saw him again!" I heard a little girl say something, and when I looked at her, she pointed to my son eating while watching movies on his phone. "Oh, hi! I'm Brigette; this is Bea. My husband was over there grilling meat, too," a woman said while holding her daughter's hand, who is now looking at my son. "Hi, I'm Jaz. This is Diego. How can I help you?" I asked her and her daughter to look at her mom, who was telling me something.

"Actually, Bea saw your son yesterday," she said, starting to talk about my son, who was now busy on his phone.

"Oh, David. His name is David, little girl." I smiled at him, and I saw how red she was when she heard my son's name.

"Mom", she shook her mom's hands, and Brigette didn't have a choice but to talk to me.

"Bea wants to be friends with your son David. Is that okay with you? She's been asking me about it since he saw him." She said while Bea bit his fingers. She's cute, and she has curly hair. She also has this perfect shape of face and a cute nose and eyes.

"David! Come here for a moment," I called him. When he looked at me, he smiled, but his mood changed when he saw Bea. He slowly walked towards us. "What is it, Mom?" He asked me, but he didn't look at the little girl.

"Meet Bea. This is her mom, Brigette. She wants to be your friend," I told him, and I heard him sigh and look at Bea.

I don't know how to read his expression.

"Hi Bea, I'm David, nice meeting you" he handed his hand and Bea happily accepted it.

"Hi! Can we be friends?" She said. I chuckled because of the way she acted. She's comfortable with him already. I saw how my son grimaced.

"Okay," he answered, and Bea asked if they could play outside our tent. Andy's son nodded at her.

"I'm sorry about my daughter, it's just that she's really friendly" Brigette laughed.

"No, it's okay. I also want my son to have company while staying here." I said, and she nodded.

"If you want, we could join together!" She happily said that made me agree in an instant.

"Of course, that would be fun." I agreed.

We are grilling meat while our kids are playing.

Brigette's Husband has his own guitar, and he's playing. They also had some champagne, and we decided to have a drink together.

"It's fun being with you guys," Brigette said while drinking.

While talking to her, I remembered Die. It looks like they have something in common. We only tell stories, and his husband is a good joker. They even told their love story and how it started. And I actually enjoy their company. "How long are you going to stay here?" Walter asked her husband.

"We aren't actually sure if we could stay here longer because we have work to do," I answered him, and he nodded.

"If you guys are not busy tomorrow we can go hiking" Brigette offered a tour.

After that, we just enjoyed that night together.
