Will You Marry Me, Again by Pear Heart

Chapter 16

Chapter 15 Don’t Ever Love Me Again
Maia froze for a moment. Then she looked up at him and shook her head with a smile.
“No, I don’t regret it. As you know, marrying you has always been my dream. It may seem unfair that my mother worked with
your grandpa to force you to marry me, but I wasn’t aware of it until later.”

Maia then said, “Anyway, it doesn’t matter anymore, does it?”
“The reason?” he asked.
“Huh?” Maia looked at him, puzzled.
“Why did you insist on marrying me?” He thought there must be a reason.

He had forgotten all about it, and she foolishly waited for him to regain his memory. However, instead of recalling it, he hated her

While her heart ached, Maia took a deep breath and said, “You don’t need a reason to love someone.”
“Don’t ever love me again, okay?” Cedric’s tone was cruelly calm.
Maia’s smile froze as she fell into despair. She forced a smile. “Okay, I promise, but can you hold me for a while? Just for a

The silence was deafening.
A heavy silence enveloped them. Just as Maia prepared to change the subject, Cedric held her wrist and pulled her into his
