With a swift ferocity, her slaps stunned both the man before her and the onlookers alike.
“Are you one of her fans?” Natalie inhaled sharply, curling her lips into a cold smirk as she questioned him, “Or did she pay you to come after me?”
“Bullshit! My feelings for Gracia are genuine. What do you mean she hired me to bump into you? I’d do anything for her willingly!”
Natalie couldn’t believe that a random stranger would know so much about the feud between the Wright family and the Howard family. It had to be Gracia’s doing.
Natalie had no interest in listening to this lunatic’s declaration of love for Gracia. Turning to Gavin, she whispered. “Take him to the station. He’s just a delusional superfan.” With that. Natalie turned on her heels, her high heels clicking as she strode to her car.
“Where are you going? Let me take you to the hospital to get checked out!” Gavin called after her, his voice deep with concern.
Natalie, as if deaf to his words, got into her car and slammed the door shut with force.
Fifteen minutes later, Natalie pulled up at the entrance of a bustling downtown mall. She adjusted the brim of her baseball cap and checked her tracking app, confirming that Gracia was nearby.
Not far off, Gracia emerged from the mall, bags dangling from her arms, her mood exceptionally light as she chatted and laughed with her agent.
As she was about to unlock her car, a Mercedes screeched to a halt in front of her.
Gracia, puzzled, peered into the car window, but before she could make out the figure inside, a hand reached out and yanked her hair viciously.
“Ah!” Gracia’s instinctive scream pierced the air.
Natalie flung open the car door, switched her grip on Gracia’s hair, stepped out, and dragged her to the trunk.
Gracia’s screams echoed through the streets.
“Shut up!” Natalie banged her head against the trunk with a fierce thud.
“Isn’t that Gracia?!” a passerby recognized her.
“Yeah, Gracia! Who’s the other woman? Never seen her around!”
Gracia’s agent, frozen in shock, barely registered the growing crowd’s murmurs before belatedly attempting to pull Natalie away. Gracia had enough bad press as it was. They couldn’t afford another incident.
But Natalie simply
flicked her wrist, sending the agent sprawling to the ground, unable to get

- up. Then, she opened the trunk, pulled out a roll of rope, and bound Gracia’s hands behind her back. Gracia, bleeding from the head, was tossed into the trunk like trash.
“Who gave you the audacity? I haven’t even settled the score with you for what happened the day before, and here you come knocking on my door!” Natalie gripped Gracia’s throat, clenching her teeth as she enunciated every word.
“Today, you’re going to see the consequences of hiring a hitman!”
With that, she raised the baseball bat in her hand and smashed it down on Gracia’s luxury
vehicle.
“Natalie, you wouldn’t dare!” Gracia struggled to rise, her voice teetering on the edge of terror and disbelief.
That limited–edition Ferrari, one of only three in the country, was priceless, a gift from Davis just months ago!
“Watch me.” Natalie said with a slight smile, grabbing a can of gasoline and dousing the car
from front to back.
Even if the Howard family demanded compensation, the ninety million she’d just received in dividends was more than enough to cover the cost of the car.
“Hasn’t she come back yet?” Inside the car, Brian asked Reid on the phone with a low voice.
“No, there was an incident twenty minutes ago. A crazed fan of Gracia lost it and rammed into Natalie. She stormed off without getting checked at the hospital, and no one knew where she went. We’re looking for her,” Reid’s voice trembled with apprehension.
