I can’t get her out of my head! Seeing her on the dance floor with her aunt last night! Hot damn! That girl is gorgeous! And that ass in those shorts! I needed to get laid so bad! But Noooo! Athos held true to his word and I suffered limp dick syndrome all night! As long as my eyes were on Alexis, I had a raging hard-on…but let Cynthia put her lips around the head of my cock, and there it is..limp dick! I’m frustrated…and pissed off! I decide to run! I need to think. Stepping through the patio doors, I shift into Athos and let him have his head. We run to the south and he scents an elk…lowering on his haunches, he stalks the beast…taking his time…he sneaks through the underbrush, staying downwind.. the elk senses something but he knows it isn’t him. He’s looking in the opposite direction…after a few minutes he drops his head and starts eating again.. just as he takes a step, Athos leaps and lands on his back and locks his jaws on the elk’s neck and twists his body…taking the elk to the ground and snapping its neck! Athos eats his fill… and begins dragging the remainder back to the pack house…when something alerts him to his left. He spins, just in time to see a flash of white fur and it was gone. What the fuck was that? Torn between chasing after the flash of white and getting the fresh meat back…he asks Athos what he thought it was I have no idea.. we are upwind so I didn’t catch any scent. I’m not sensing any danger so let’s get this back and have patrol step up checking the borders to the east. “I want you to know I will consider your feelings and thoughts from now on. I’m not saying I’m on board with the whole mate thing…but I will try! Still not letting you get involved in any fuckery! You don’t see what I see when you’re with Cynthia! Now, I must admit to being curious! Throwing clothes on, I link Cody and Damon to meet me at the truck! Heading into town, Cody asks where we’re heading and I ask him “Tell me about your sister. I mean, I have known her my whole life…and never had any romantic feelings for her..until a couple weeks ago. It’s fleeting though…it comes and goes.. Athos said something extremely cryptic earlier and when I asked him about it, he told me to ask Helena…and to show her Cynthia’s picture.” He looks at me a long time. “You don’t think she had Helena put a spell on you, do you?” I shake my head and shrug “I don’t know. I don’t know what to think! I have a wolf driving me crazy about being involved with any woman not my mate…right down to threatening any woman I mark with death…so yeah. I don’t know!” He nods.. “yeah..I get that!”

Walking into the apothecary, that scent hits me again… and I falter in my step. Crazy! I step to the counter and Alexis comes up from the back with a box of jars in her hands…I step to the side..and she never looks up.. running straight into me.. I try to catch her but she slams down on her ass, dropping the box and jars explode into the air…green and blue smoke rises into the air and I go into a sneezing fit. She looks up at me and yells “Helena…hurry!! I’m so sorry, Alpha! So sorry! We will fix it!” And I hear Cody and Damon explode into laughter.

Helena comes from the back and loses it herself….Alexis telling her to get the antidote! Antidote? What’s happening? I sneeze again and cover my nose…with a bright pink bunny paw! What the fuck? I ask “ What’s happening?” Only my voice is high pitched and squeaky.. and now Alexis is giggling…while the guys are holding their sides and trying to breathe! Again I yell “What the fuck is happening??” And they laugh even harder. I rush to the mirror on the wall…and standing there is a 6’7 inch bunny…with my face…except I now have bunny ears and nose…with whiskers!

Helena takes me to the back and hands me an elixir…”Here…you need to drink this! The jars that broke and the powder you breathed in are used for children’s parties….usually around Easter time. I’m sorry.. drink! I won’t be able to take you seriously until we get your inner bunny under control!” I hear Alexis telling the guys what happened but none of them stop laughing long enough to make complete sentences!

Fifteen minutes later, I no longer feel the need to sneeze and feeling my face, it’s back to normal! I storm out to the front of the store and yell “You are a menace! What were you thinking? I had yelled for Helena! You had to know I was there, yet you chose to walk into me and turn me into a rabbit!”
