Which brother should I choose

Chapter Get In The Line

Mr. Anton was standing in front of me, with a surprised and bewitched look in his eyes.

"Hi." he said in a low voice, almost inaudible. Like we were in a bubble and he was afraid to pop it as talking loud.

"Hi," I said in the same hushed voice. I didn't know why but I felt like I had to. He took me in with hungry eyes darting head to toe and back. "Were you going somewhere?" he asked in a throaty voice. Like he was breathless.

I blushed. Why the hell I was blushing. I really have issues.

"Yes, I was going to dinner." I admit. I didn't know why, but somehow I didn't want to say that I was going with Matt, and I hoped he would not ask.

"Can I accompany you?" He was still watching me intently. If I didn't know better, I could even say that he liked what he saw. I parted my mouth to answer,

"She has a date with me, brother! Get in the line." Matt said as stepping out from the elevator. I was surprised to see him. Anton's mesmerized looks turned into stone in no time.

His eyes didn't leave me while he spoke to his brother.

"I am not interested to be in the line, have fun." he said as spitting the words. More like to me than to him. He turned his back in no time and went into the elevator that Matt vacated a moment ago. Matt didn't bother to look at his leaving brother, he locked his eyes on me instead. However, I couldn't help but stay locked in Anton's stare, until he was in the elevator and the closing doors of it broke the stare for us. Until his eyes were hidden by the doors, their hook in my flesh didn't let me go. A deep, dark and dangerous hook.

Only when the charm had broken with closing doors I could return and saw another kind of hook before me. This one was playful, rascal and dangerous as well but for all kinds of different reasons.

He blew a whistle as scanning me with his eyes.

"You look dazzling, love. I would have invited you to dinner before, If I knew you would look this way."

I blushed instantly. To hide my embarrassment I started mocking too,

"I am paying for dinner, remember?"

He laughed. I looked at his beautiful face and damn dimples. I felt my breath catching in my lungs before his beauty. He was heavenly. Something this beautiful couldn't be bad, could it?

He was wearing pale blue linen trousers; the legs of the trousers were rolled up in a casual manner. And a white linen shirt, loosely falling from his large shoulders and revealing the top of his muscular chest by three open buttons. I gulped with the hint of broad chest and soft chest hairs can be seen between the open buttons. I wanted to dig my fingers in it and feel its softness with my fingertips. Like I did that night into his soft hair. Oh God's sake, forget that Alice! He did, and you should do as well.

He extended his hand to me, and I took it without thinking any more. I screwed up the first time, but this time I would be prepared.

Matt's POV

When the elevator doors opened and revealed him standing in front of her door, I saw red. Fucking bastard does not waste a minute to hit her. And he didn't even want her in the first place. Then I heard him asking to take her to dinner, and I smirked to myself. Not fast enough,

"She has a date with me, brother! Get in the line." I said. I understood he got tensed from his shoulders even from his back.

"I am not interested to be in the line, have fun." he answered as if he didn't care. And turned back and left. But I knew better. I knew him well enough to know that wheels in his head started turning. He never let me have anything without a good fight and I was sure this time was no different. Maybe he was not even truly interested in her. But challenging me for her was enough encouragement for him to try. I have never seen him hitting an employee before. But Alice was different, I had to admit that. Even If I would have such rules about my personal life, I would have tried my chances for her anyway.

The innocence in her eyes, but the lust her body offers were contracting each other in a way that could make any man crazy. And my brother and I were no exceptions. There, she was standing, in a white dress showing her fragile figure in the best way it could. Her thin waist wrapped in the fabric was so small, you could almost grab it with a hand. Her brunette waves were falling like waterfalls from her delicate shoulders to her revealed back. Her slightly larger hips were holding the skirt in place and offering something sinful for seeking eyes. She was not wearing glasses today. Even though I found it cute when she wore it, it suited her today to be like this. Her make-up was light but recognizable. It means, she also cared. Cared enough to pay the effort to seem better and be with me tonight despite my brother. And this thought only was enough to save my week. Which was on the brink of being ruined by Anton.

He stole her to keep her away from me. But no one could keep me away from her. I decided that since the moment I laid eyes on her. She was mine! Anton anticipated that I wouldn't bother to come all this way for just a girl. I wouldn't, for just a girl. But this was Alice. Something about her was pulling me, every look she graced, every word she deigned was my doom. And this time I was determined to keep this for myself.

I blew a whistle to show my admiration for her.

"You look dazzling, love. I would have invited you to dinner before, If I knew you would look this way." I said mockingly, I wouldn't care if she wore a potato sack. I was sure she could manage to look beautiful even in that shit. But I just needed one of those smiles she gave.

She blushed instantly. Even better. When she turned red from her cheeks to her ears, I just wanted to eat her.

"I am paying for dinner, remember?" she said to distract herself.

I laughed. She was thinking that I would really let her buy me dinner? I just wanted to make her believe that she was in control of tonight. But actually she was not. If I could play my cards correctly, and if I could keep my nosey brother away, I was planning to have her in my bed tonight.

I extended my hand towards her and plastered my most genuine smile on my face. She shouldn't have suspected from a thing. She took my hand, her hand was shaking slightly. Excited, good...

I took her to the place I arranged beforehand. I prepared a hidden meeting place just for the two of us. When I directed her towards the beach, her eyes widened in surprise. She was expecting me to take her to the restaurants. No way. I wanted to keep her to myself tonight.

I made a team to prepare a place under the palm trees on the beach. When we reached there, I saw they did a good job. You could be surprised what money could do. They prepared a setting for two under the night sky. As romantic as it could be. I didn't know any girl could say no such a setting. There was a small round table with two chairs. I drew one and made her sit first. Then, I turned around the table and I placed myself opposite to her. She was looking around in disbelieving eyes, taking in every detail they did. She was impressed I could tell. Matteo 1, Antonio 0.

I kindly held her hand over the table and kissed the back of it like a real gentleman. She giggled and the sound of her warmed my heart somehow. I knew I was not up to anything serious. I never did. But, I couldn't help but admit that she was something more than a one night stand. Two nights maybe? Or a week. I would let myself decide when it comes to that. But for now, I was just after one thing. Taking her to the bed tonight.
