The door slammed shut. I heard the lock click.
Theodore and I were now alone.
Now that it was just the two of us stuck here indefinitely, the panic room looked more like a BDSM dungeon than ever. The big red velvet couch on the far end of the room, all the plush carpeting, the dim, warm light.
I almost forgot why we were here in the first place.
There was an intruder. Possibly a dangerous one. When Theodore showed me the panic room a few days ago, I assumed it was a formality, not a necessity. I could not have been more wrong.
The thought of a dangerous stranger lurking through the rooms above, where Thea slept, where we all slept, made me feel sick.
My heart rate quickened. I was going to throw up.
“I don’t feel so good,” I said.
“What’s wrong?” Theodore asked.
“I don’t know,” I replied. “The room is sort of spinning.”
“Here. take a seat.” Theodore led me to the couch.
“I think I’m having a heart attack,” I said. “My heart feels like it’s going a million miles an hour.”
Theodore’s eyes widened..
“Here, feel my chest,” I said, now panicking. I brought his hand to my chest.
“Yes,” Theodore said. “Your heart rate is fast, but I think you might be having a panic attack, not a heart attack.”
My breaths were short and disjointed. I tried to slow them down but was having a hard time.
“Here,” Theodore sat down next to me, “let’s breathe together.”
I nodded.

Following his lead, I breathed in, slowly.
“And now breathe out.” I did as he told me.
After a few breaths, I started to feel better.
“I feel better,” I finally managed to make out.
“Good,” he replied.
I needed a distraction, something to get my mind off the fact that I was stuck in an impenetrable, windowless, underground bunker, hiding from a dangerous intruder.
“I think I just need to get my mind off of all this,” I said. “Maybe we could play a game?”
Theodore raised his eyebrow skeptically.
“What sort of game?”
“I don’t know, maybe 21 questions?”
“What’s that?”
“Pretty self-explanatory,” I teased him. “I ask you 21 questions, and you answer them.”
“Hm,” he said. “I don’t know about that.”
“Oh, come on,”I pleaded. “Do you want me to have another panic attack?”
“No, no,” he shook his head. “Of course not. I’m just not sure if this is the right game for someone like me.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
He huffed.
“Fine, fine,” he waved his arms. “But if you ask me something I don’t want to answer, I won’t”
“That’s not the spirit of the g-
“Are you going to ask me the first question or not?” he interrupted.
I thought of something I wanted to know. My mind was immediately flooded with a million
questions. The man was a mystery to me after all, and I wanted to know every single thing about him. But what to start with?
“How did it feel when you found out you were going to be a father?”
“No,” he replied.
That’s not an answer to my question.”

“I’m not answering that one,” he snapped.
“Fine.” I sighed. “When did you first fall in love.”
“Pass.”
I rolled my eyes.
“What is your business?”
“Definitely not answering that one.”
“Are you going to answer any of my questions?”
“I’ll answer the ones I want to,” he winked.
“What do you want me to ask you? What your favorite color is?”
“Emerald green,” he answered.
“That wasn’t an actual question.”
“Too bad,” he said. “One question down, twenty more to go.”
“Okay,” I gave in. “But you absolutely have to answer this next one.”
“We’ll see.”
“Did you use my suggestion the other night.” I asked. “From the manual. With Thea. I heard all that stuff about an art gallery.”
He paused, thinking about whether or not he would finally give me a proper answer.
“I did,” he replied.
“Well, well, well,” I said. “Look who listened.”
“Don’t get in the habit of telling me what to do though,” his hand now lingered on my upper thigh, right by the hem of my skirt.
My skirt was slowly riding up my leg and I didn’t pull it back down.
“I have another idea to distract you,” he whispered in my ear, starting to kiss my neck.
“Oh yeah?” I asked. “What is it?”
“Can I show you?”
I nodded, gasping as his fingers pressed between my legs. Leaning back on the couch my hands. gripped the red velvet.
“You’re so wet.” he laughed, getting down on his knees in front of me. His head was now edging

between my legs as he pulled his fingers in and out of me.
I squirmed with pleasure in my seat.
Theodore slipped my underwear off and tossed it to the side,
He smiled
“You know I can get used to looking at you from up here,” I said.
“I don’t get down on my knees for just anyone.”
“Consider me grateful,” I chuckled.
He kissed me from my knees up my inner thigh.
I could feel his warm breath against my skin, sending shivers down my spine. His hands gripped my thighs, holding me in place as his tongue traced soft circles between my thighs. I could feel my body arching towards him, craving more of his touch.
I was desperate for it.
As his lips kissed me, I felt a jolt of electricity shoot through my body, the sensation sending shivers down my spine. His touch was both firm yet gentle.
His tongue moved closer and closer to where Lached for him to be.
As his tongue finally penetrated my center, I let out a moan.
Theodore was slowly unbuttoning his shirt. I watched in awe at the way his muscles looked in the warm light.
I tossed my shirt off and removed my bra.
Next, Theodore stood up, unbuckling his belt.
Now, he was looking down at me from above, he smirked.
“I could get used to seeing you like this from above.” His eyes drank my naked body in.
When his trousers dropped to the ground, I could see the outline of his hard penis, right at my eye line. I wanted him to take them off. As his boxers dropped to the ground, so did my jaw.
I had never seen anything like it before.
His hand cupped the side of my face. His thumb tracing my lower lips.
“I need you inside me,” I sighed.
