When She Stops Playing Nice by Hale Saxon

Chapter 33

Chapter 33

An idea came to Olivia and she began acting again. “Mom, I think Gina is bullied because she’s odd. Sometimes, even I think so. Why would she be targeted otherwise?”

Realization dawned on Ella. It took two to tango, after all. Gina must have done something to provoke Lily. “That’s true.” Ella switched topics. “Never mind. Darling, how’s your design draft coming along?”

Olivia was irritated at the mention of this. She was clueless. She even resented Elsen for demanding something that surpassed the Wish collection. She wanted to outshine Gina but would never admit Gina’s design was good. The Wish collection sold well because it was credited to her.

Olivia didn’t want to disappoint Ella, so she exaggerated. ‘Mom, I’ve been staying up late working on it. I’ll try to finish it

soon.

Ella’s heart ached. “Don’t tire yourself out. Your health is important too.”

“I know, Mom. Olivia nodded in false docility.

In the afternoon, Olivia returned to school for her classes in a Mercedes. Once she was in the classroom, she took out at paper and started pondering. However, she simply couldn’t do it. If she failed, her brother and mother might bring Gina back. After all, the cooperation with Dale Group affected the lifeline of Miller Jewels.

Olivia was immersed in her worries.

“Where’s Olivia Miller?” Jasmine appeared at Jewelry Design Class 3, grabbed a girl, and demanded.

The girl was intimidated and pointed to Olivia who was in her seat. “That’s her…

Jasmine sneered and walked over. “Olivia!”

Olivia had her back to Jasmine. She turned to see who was making the fuss and interrupted her train of thought.

However, Jasmine grabbed Olivia’s hair before she turned and yanked. “Weren’t you arrogant at the Quaria store? Let’s see how arrogant you are now.”

Hurt and confused, Olivia couldn’t lift her head. “What are you talking about?”

A crowd gathered around them. Jasmine looked at them and yelled, “What are you looking at?”

Then, she dragged Olivia by her hair into the women’s restroom. Jasmine pushed Olivia into a cubicle, Olivia’s head hit the partition. Her ears rang

“Do you think you can do whatever you want just because you’re engaged to Ethan? My family can crush your family. It’s as easy as stepping on an ant.” Jasmine couldn’t swallow the humiliation at Quarip. Besides, she intended to marry Gabriel, Ethan’s uncle

Jasmine had seen online that Gabriel and a “mysterious woman had gone to the Grand Restaurant but couldn’t find out who that was. She couldn’t vent her anger. Thus, she decided to find Olivia.

Olivia was still stunned. Her hair was messed up, covering her face. “What are you going on about?”

What? Afraid now?” Jasmine kicked her. Olivia’s shin was bruised.

Olivia exclaimed in pain.

Jasmine felt better. “You b i t c h. Not so arrogant now, are you?”

Olivia couldn’t take it anymore. She tossed her hair aside and looked at Jasmine. “Stop. Hold on.”

Jasmine didn’t want to look at Olivia’s beautiful face at first but realized Olivia didn’t look like the person she saw at Qauria. Did she get the wrong person?

“You’re not Olivia Miller?” Jasmine was puzzled.

Olivia was bewildered. “I am.”

Jasmine asked, “You’re Ethan’s fiancée?”

Olivia replied, “Yes.” Then she remembered Jasmine mentioning Quaria. “I haven’t been to Quaria recently. Did you get the wrong person?”

Jasmine felt guilty.

Olivia understood. Jasmine, with her branded clothes and Quaria jewelry, seemed wealthy. Despite being mistakenly assaulted, Olivia was wary and dared not get angry. “Miss Bush, did someone impersonate me? Who was it? Can you tell me?” Olivia ground her teeth. She’d kill the culprit.

Jasmine didn’t feel bad at all. “How would I know? All I know was that her last name was Miller. She recalled, “She’s also dressed shabbily like she’s from the country. She wore casual clothes and had a mole on her ear.”

The description sounded familiar. Olivia remembered Gina had such a mole. “Was the mole on her earlobe?”

Think so. Jasmine wasn’t sure.

Olivia was certain. Besides Gina, who would impersonate her and cause trouble for her? Olivia hadn’t offended anyone else. How could the b t c h do this? Olivia’s nails dug into her palms. Fortunately, she had clarified it quickly or she’d continued to have her a s s kicked. Olivia forced a smile. ‘Miss Bush, it must be Gina Miller. She’s the one you’re looking for. She pretended to be me.”

Although that wasn’t true, Jasmine didn’t bother explaining. Instead, she asked, “Why are you so sure? Are you related?”

Olivia explained hastily, “She is my sister, but not anymore. What she did has nothing to do with us.”
