Chapter Wedding 8

Chapter 8

Lack of oxygen, Stephany’s face turned red and tears welled up in her eyes.

She reached out her hand, which had been corroded by sulfuric acid, raised it over her head, and

swore in front of my father.

“I will definitely take Lynn to see plastic surgery doctors all over the country. I won’t leave a scar on her body. Can you give me a chance? I really don’t know, I don’t know the truth…”

As soon as she finished speaking, I heard a muffled sound.

Stephany was kicked to the ground again, and the wound on her arm had been scratched.

The wound seemed to be infected in the hot summer.

However, my father acted as if he couldn’t see anything. He just roared angrily and asked the security guards to arrest her, waiting for the police to arrive.

After the security guard took Stephany under control, he was relieved and walked toward me.

Seeing that I had woken up, a decisive man in the business world like him instantly turned his eyes red.

He gently stroked my forehead.

“I’m late. I’m sorry… I’m sorry, Lynn. I’ll protect you in the future.”

I couldn’t say anything and could only look at him with tears in my eyes.

I hadn’t seen him for two years. He had lost weight.

He was getting old.

My dad went downstairs to buy me a lot of tonics. Looking at the tonics piled up in the corner, he always felt that it was not enough.

I regained some strength and tried hard to speak, “That’s enough, Dad! That’s enough! I’m just having a superficial wound!”

The one who loved you always felt that he hadn’t given you enough.

I felt sad.

At this time, the policeman rushed to the ward. Looking at my father’s gloomy face, he said helplessly, “I’m sorry. Miss Smith said that the family dispute could be reconciled privately, so we asked her to finish the statement and leave. I didn’t know that you…‘

Hearing this, my father’s suppressed anger burst out on the spot.

“Reconcile? Family? Never!”

As soon as he finished speaking, Stephany broke down and shouted, “I’m your wife! It’s just a family dispute. You can’t send me to jail. You can’t do this! I won’t admit it!”

“It’s your fault. You didn’t make it clear at first. Since you have decided to marry me, why did you hide the news from me? If I had known that she was your daughter and had just returned from abroad today, I wouldn’t have done such a thing!”

Her question made my father’s face darken and the last trace of tenderness in his heart completely disappeared.

Seeing this, Stephany hurriedly changed her tone and begged, “Honey, I was wrong. I really know I was wrong. Can I kneel down and apologize to Lynn? She is a good girl. She came back especially to attend our wedding. She won’t blame me! I’ll go and tell her now!”

As soon as she finished speaking, my father gradually approached her. My father immediately grabbed her arm, causing her to scream in pain. The next second, she was thrown into the arms of the police.
